I always get a good workout when I go to Pure Barre Madison. Great instructors, good facility, and like minded people in class. I am primarily a runner, and picked up a coupon at a local race for a free tryout session. What I found with Pure Barre is a simple way to work on my flexibility and also get a total body workout which strengthens those muscles I don't work running. It is great for cross training or days when the weather is bad. What I found at the Madison studio is knowledgeable, dedicated people who are friendly and welcoming, professional, really energetic, and most important, fun. They give lots of encouragement and pointers keeping everything positive. Workouts fly by with fast paced music. Tucked away on Main Street, the studio is easy to get to, has plenty of parking, and is kept very clean and sanitized. It is locally owned and operated and is community oriented. Pure Barre Madison is a great way to get a whole body workout while burning those extra calories and lifting your spirits for the day. read more

I went to a pop up shop for a Pure Barre class at Bridge Street. I was honestly impressed with how hard working and friendly the staff was! They were all very nice and worked hard to have the location ready for us well before we all arrived. They worked hard to ensure we were in a comfortable environment and demonstrated each move clearly. I am new to the entire experience so one of the staff members directed me as to where I should go to ensure I could see the instructor demonstrating each movement. It was a positive, upbeat environment that didn't make me uncomfortable at all. (This is huge as this always holds me back from going to classes!) There were informative emails as well before the event to ensure we were all prepared. I will be doing this again once I can move after this class!! read more

My experience was awesome! This was my first experience with Pure Barre, my wife encouraged me to do a class. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the staff. Sarah the GM explained the studio and introduced me to her staff, Madison, Tommy and instructor Jennifer. Jennifer set me up to do her class, giving me an overview of how to set up and what to expect of the class format. The class that I took was the Classic class. It was a great 50 minute workout. Sore today, but a good sore. To all the guys that think Pure Barre is for women, well you're wrong, it's for every walk of life, no matter the age. Thinking that you need heavy weights for a workout, well I was using 2 & 3 pound weights and really felt a burn. I also workout at the gym and do Orange Theory. With this type of workout it's just a different type of workout that I would recommend to anyone. I can't wait to do more classes and experience the other class formats that are offered. Pure Barre has been a great support for me in my fitness journey since I joined 9 months ago. Between the welcoming staff at the front, the social aspect of friends you make in class and the energetic instructors you get when you take the classes you can't go wrong with doing small movements to make BIG changes in your life. The instructors are amazing with helping make modifications for you or helping you improve your form before/after class. With 3 class formats there is a little bit for everyone there.
