You use parts of your body you didn't know you had (or didn't use at least). Great workout without the stress and shock of normal runs, jumps, other training. I would say that it is definitely a place where you don't have to worry about anything other than showing up and putting in work. Their team is really helpful and really want you to do well. Each instructor has a different style so I think it's good to practice with each one. Then you can sort through who best suits your personality. And honestly they are all good and train hard in their own ways. See you there!

The instruction here is excellent and class offerings are varied offering many choices based upon what you are seeking. All instruction I've received has been just great. I've also taken a private session from Lindsay, the owner. She is excellent. Everyone who practices the method has been so welcoming as well. There are all ages and sexes practicing. My favorite thing about this gym is that the equipment is usually in good shape and clean. The perks that you get with the black card are pretty awesome and it's affordable. I've been a "Black Card" Member for about three years and have never reviewed them!…read more Planet Fitness is extremely convenient for me in location and hours...that is their biggest plus for me. Second is their services--they have a great assortment of mental health/fringe things to help you stay as close to 100% as possible. They have a good personal trainer introduction available--even for your black card guest. You can use it anywhere there is a Planet Fitness. Their App is cool. Clean stations are plentiful. They have a summer program for your teen to workout free!! Now for the cons. It is expensive, but predictable. The App seems to be compatible with the equipment, but I have never been successful getting it to link up. They are legalistic--with tanning they have a rigid 24 hour rule. If you go 4 minutes of a possible 9 minutes at 6:43pm, don't try to go 4 more minutes at 5:20pm the next day...that violates policy. Common sense doesn't apply to the keepers of the gate. The clean equipment rule is every man for himself. I clean before and after...because I see way too many folks only clean before they use it. Gross! They don't have a way for your guest, even with upcharge, to easily enjoy the black card amenities in the back--hydro massage, for example. This leaves the primary member feeling...guilty or judged in a supposed "judgement free" zone. All in all, if there was a gym closer to my home with similar amenities, I'd consider them. Until then, I keep going here. We are all creatures of comfort. Three stars from me.

I am taking time to write this review for a phenomenal trainer who is also a genuine, incredible human being that this world needs more of and her name is Samra. I walked into the gym after recovering from some physical trauma and I couldn't quite get there. After a few months of feeling defeated and discouraged - ready to quit. Sabrina said "before you give up, let me put you with a great trainer - you'll love her". Hesitantly, I agreed. I started having sessions with Samra and WOW! She immediately picked up on my strengths and my weaknesses before I said a word. Her intuition and keen attention to detail when working with me is remarkable. A 30 minute session with her produces results that I couldn't obtain in two hours on my own. I always tell her it "hurts so good!" She challenges me beyond what I feel capable of, yet not to the point where I feel deflated - I always leave smiling and feeling like jelly- it is the best feeling! She is my biggest cheerleader while I am straining to get those last 3 reps out - something I didn't even know I needed. I thank her every session and tell her I appreciate her, but she will never truly know how much she has/continues to do for me. At 54 years old, I am gaining confidence I didn't have at 20. I feel strong, fierce and bold to carry my own in the gym and in my everyday life. She deserves all the accolades and then some. Thank you, Samra.
