I love taking Pilates because it doesn't feel like a workout (until the next day, when I can't move). Pilates works the whole body in just 50 minutes. Give them a try! You will be addicted.

I took Pure Barre - Align classes and have already noticed myself regaining my flexibility and pain reduction in hips, knees, and a reduction in ankle swelling. I hate cardio, but last night my heart rate hit a steady 165 for 30 minutes, but without the heart pounding feeling I get from the treadmill. My energy is up and my core is noticing the toning workout. If you are looking to tone and build lean muscle this is the place for you. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and encouraging as well as the other participants. The studio is clean and Angelica and Suzanna run an amazing studio. I confidently confirm that my review was based…read moresolely on my experience and the information I was provided via text message and telephone. _________________________________________________________________ I enjoyed the classes I attended and found the instructors to be friendly and knowledgeable. My concern is not with the quality of instruction, but with the enrollment process and communication of membership restrictions. Before joining, I discussed class placement with an instructor and was told that based on my experience and performance in the introductory class, moving into a Level 1.5 class would be appropriate. After enrolling, I learned that I would not be eligible to take Level 2 classes until completing approximately 100 Level 1.5 classes. This requirement was never disclosed to me before I agreed to enroll, and had it been, I would not have purchased the membership. I also was not given the opportunity to review the membership agreement before agreeing to enroll. I received the agreement afterward, and only then learned the full terms of the membership. When I called to inquire about canceling after learning of the Level 2 restriction, I was informed that I could not cancel until after three months. Upon reviewing the agreement, I found that it contained a rescission provision that appeared to allow cancellation within three days, exclusive of holidays and weekends, of the contract's making. This created further confusion and frustration regarding my rights as a new member. I believe Club Pilates would benefit from clearly disclosing class progression requirements and membership terms before enrollment so that prospective members can make a fully informed decision. The instructors and classes themselves were positive; my concerns relate solely to the enrollment process and the lack of disclosure regarding significant restrictions that affected my decision to join.
