Thrive Workplace - Agile Denver Meetup: Human-Centered AI @ Thrive Workplace

We have over half a dozen Meetup groups spanning Boulder, Westminster, Denver, downtown, and the DTC region, all meeting monthly, and finding a venue that truly supports what we're building isn't always easy. Thrive gets it. The space itself is fantastic. The modern design is thoughtfully done and creates an atmosphere that is both professional and inviting. It is welcoming, well-organized, and perfectly suited for the kind of collaborative, energetic gatherings that define our community. Every time our members walk through the door, the environment sets exactly the right tone. But what really sets Thrive apart is the people. A huge shout-out to Emma, who has been our primary point of contact and has been nothing short of wonderful. She is professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure our events go smoothly every single month. She is the kind of partner that makes you feel like your event matters, because to her, it clearly does. If you are looking for a space that combines great facilities with people who truly care, look no further than Thrive Workplace! Highly recommended!

Great location again, no surprise. Easily validated parking (through the front desk) and enticing Junction Food Hall within walking distance for lunch, coffee, etc. with friends or solo. I didn't explore too much of the space. Chilled at the front desk area for a few hours before my next appointment. Community Manager was great. Coffee and Bevi machines were plentiful. Restrooms were easy-to-find and clean. Would definitely go out of my way to come back because of both the parking situation and productive vibes.

Office Evolution - A professional business environment from the moment you walk through the door.

Office Evolution

I have been a member of Office Evolution for over two years, and it has been a fantastic business…read moredecision for me and my company. I primarily work out of the Greenwood Village location, but also spend time at the locations in Lakewood, Littleton, and Louisville. Let me first start with the customer service and flexibility. They have a variety of business plans that fit brand new businesses with a small budget to businesses that need dedicated office space each day. The pricing is really simple and transparent - no hidden fees, add-ons or "gotchas." In my experience, the office managers bend over backward for their customers (my company and companies just like me). There have been a couple of times where I have forgotten to book a room for a meeting, the normal conference rooms are all booked, and there's only 10 or 15 minutes before my meeting is supposed to start. Caity has scrambled to help me find a space somewhere that I can have my meeting. She would have had every right to tell me "everything's booked, sorry" but she always does everything in her power to help a customer. Anytime I've had a technology issue, it's been addressed quickly. I love that even though I cannot afford any employees right now, Caity is at the front welcoming my clients, making them feel at home with something to drink, and letting me know when they arrive. I feel like I'm not getting just an office space, but a business partner. I also love the location - right off of 25 and Belleview with plenty of parking, so my clients or prospective clients never have issues with getting lost or finding a parking space. Some of the other co-working locations I looked at in Greenwood Village were not this way. The location has been recently renovated, and helps me put forward a professional image. I looked at most of the other co-working companies, but really felt Office Evolution is looking out for the small business owner.

Can you spell P-A-T-I-E-N-C-E?…read more Well I can assure you, dear reader, that Office Evolution depleted the last of mine... I am a transplant from the East Coast to Colorado, and was looking for a good space to accommodate meetings with clients, and also to have a professional place to occasionally rent an office so I could focus. I have my wife and toddler at home, so a co-working company seemed like a good solution. Well sadly, I was horribly mistaken. I was aware that there are bigger names in the co-working industry, like Regus and WeWork. I suppose I was just trying to support small business with my decision to patronize Office Evolution. To make a long story short, I signed up with their DTC/ Greenwood Village office in Denver, Colorado. All I needed was occasional access to an office (usually their day office) and the conference rooms. Wow, talk about substandard service! Usually at co-working spaces, there is a Business Center Manager present, or at the very least, a receptionist. There was never anyone at the front desk the entire time I was a member. God forbid any member should need the BCM to notarize anything (another service OE supposedly offers). Luckily, I was only there for two months, but I should have left long before then. The internet was down quite a bit, which was ridiculous. Starbucks would have been a better bet for a decent wireless connection. I attempted to call OE headquarters about this issue, but there were only two techs there who never answered. I found a general support email address, and received an incredibly poorly written email from a silly girl who clearly could not spell to save her life, or spell her own name for that matter. Here is the gist of what she wrote: "We can defiantly help you with that! And we'll summit a support ticket right away. Thank you for your patients." The best spell checker in the universe could not help her. She helped me make the decision to ultimately cancel my membership. There are indications that Office Evolution is expanding and doing ok, more or less. What I want to know is, if that's the case, why was I under the impression I was dealing with Ma and Pa Kettle? Where is the professionalism? Why don't corporate staff there know how to S-P-E-L-L for Chrissakes?!! I have held several high profile jobs as an Editor, so unprofessional correspondence like this gives me migraines. I met another member at the DTC office who had a Business Address plan with Office Evolution, and he believes that service is a scam as well. He explained that what they won't tell you is if you want to change your address once you leave, you will not be able to do it the normal way through the post office. There is a general suite number that the post office will refuse to redirect your mail from. And at least with Office Evolution, you'll have to pay a fee to have them forward your mail to you. Oh, but there's free coffee! Big deal. I can more than afford my own darn coffee, thank you very much. As a result of my experience with Office Evolution, I will never again entertain the thought of signing up with a co-working company. I don't have the time or 'patience' for such shenanigans. Good luck to them all, but let's all hope that co-working spaces are just a passing trend.

Move in was easy, and needs that we had upon our move-in were addressed quickly. The space itself has a modern warehouse feel to it, which is great for creative and start-up type businesses. The location is fantastic adjacent to great restaurants and amenities. And, the amenities within the facilities are good (not great like some of the expensive coworking spaces in Denver) but expanding. The kegerator is admittedly my favorite perk. I do wish there was a bit more encouraged collaboration between tenants (like happy hours), but we've only been here a month, so perhaps something is coming up. The space does what it needs for our business, and I'm happy that we've found Cobalt!
