So I had dumbells from 10- 100 lbs. and fixed barbells from 40- 110 pounds or so. First Mr. Roby tried to get me to wash them with some kind of cleaner. When this didn't work, he assured me it would dry out and stop smelling- waited a month or so, the entire basement smelled of this gas and he finally replaced the dumbbells. He hasn't replaced the fixed barbells and they are the only thing in the entire gym with over $20,000 in exercise equipment that give off this horrible odor. Mr. Roby has become completely unresponsive. I advised him 4 months ago that if these are not replaced I would post complaints on social media. Mr. Roby is charming fellow and gave me good prices- but delivered real garbage. Buyer Beware! This is just my first post of what will be many. I plan to post this on a different social media site every day until I get satisfaction.

I am really disappointed in the staff at this stores unwillingness to work with other retailers in…read morethe outlets. I went to another shoe store in the outlet and purchased a pair of Timberland boots for my boyfriend at $59.99. I then walked down the mall a little further and saw the timberland store and decided to go in and see if they had the same boots and if the price was the same. Low and behold they did have them and they were $49.99. Knowing the other store I had just purchased them at originally would price match I walked back over and told them what I had seen. The VERY nice girl behind the counter said she would call over to the Timberland store to verify as that was their policy. Her first call over last all of 3 seconds and when she simply asked if they had the shoe in stock and identified herself as an employee of a competing store the employee on the other end simply said No they did not carry that item in stock and hung up the phone. Now I am standing there looking like an idiot and a liar and not happy at all because I knew what I had seen. The girl calls her manager up who call back Timberland store and gets a different employee who says that they do have it in stock but the price is $59.99. At this point I am getting down right pissed because I look stupid because the employees at Timberland are either too lazy or inadequate to give the store the correct information. Frustrated with the entire process but wanting to save the $10 I returned the shoes to the good store because at this juncture I needed to prove I wasn't losing it and those damn boots were $49.99 at the other store. I walked back over to Timberland, picked up the EXACT same pair I had just returned to the other store (size, color and all) and purchased them for $49.99!!!! Now needing to prove my sanity and honesty to the very nice girls at the other store on my way back to my car I showed them the boots and the receipt and they were just as angry and frustrated as I was. Seriously Timberland get your crap together!

I've also visited the flagship store in Maine, I love the quality and style of L.L.Bean. I left my car charging and walked over to L.L.Bean. Once inside, I entered a beautiful and well stocked store. The nice part about L.L.Bean is they have mannequins dressed in a full ensemble to give you ideas on how to pair their clothes. From the shoes/socks to the layers of shirts, L.L.Bean just owns this style. I found a green sweater (not too bulky) with a lighter green collared shirt for a nice layered look. With any L.L.Bean, going to the cash register is last attention grab. There are candies, soaps and L.L.Bean coffee mugs wanting to come home with you. I grabbed a bar of soap that smelled like pine trees. When I arrived at the register, I gave them my information and my profile populates the screen. I'm given a receipt and I'm on my way.
