Napa Electric was paid to run Cat5e Ethernet cabling throughout 8 newly built units. In the process multiple cables were nicked and some outright cut. Napa Electric's technicians used dozens of UR connectors to patch cables throughout the property and told my client "AT&T will figure it out." Picture attached shows one of the bundles of UR connectors on the Ethernet cables that Napa Electric left. Lots of folks are saying they're great, but definitely avoid for low-voltage work.

I called on a Sunday intending to leave a message but Jeremiah answered the phone and actually tried to walk me through several quick fixes before sending a technician out and charging me. I really appreciated that but of course the quick fixes didn't work this time. Monday morning the office contacted me and said they could have a technician here between nine and 11. As 11 approached they contacted me again telling me that their technician was running a bit late at a previous job but that he would be here by noon. Sure enough at noon he arrived! He was very polite and thorough and spent a good amount of time troubleshooting my issue. When he finally found the junction box responsible for my problem hidden in my attic, He worked quickly to remedy the situation and before I knew it everything was fixed. I can't speak highly enough to their professionalism or their communication or just the friendly nature of everyone at AAE that I interacted with! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

He butchered a a load bearing 4x4 and an adjoining 2x4. He drilled multiple holes and appeared to be guessing where to drill in the home's strong wall and I showed him that he was off by almost a foot of where he should have been drilling. The loadbearing post is now compromised. The owner came out and said this was an industry standard notch, even though about half of the post is missing. He advised he would come out and fix it, however after consulting with someone in the industry, this needs to be fixed by a licensed contractor and the owner's recommended "fix" would be under-engineered. The owner was very unprofessional and seemed to care less that his employee hacked this 4X4, even denying it. I would highly avoid this business. I could've made a better cut myself with a hatchet. They even failed to install a nail guard over the wire, which is a big safety issue. They failed simple code issues. A simple job turned into an expensive project. The owner tried passing this off as "industry standard." I am now consulting the state contractor licensing board.

Didn't receive a reply so I texted him today (Thursday) and his response was that they're busy and if I'm going to keep asking they aren't coming....this wasn't a favor, this is business and I need to make arrangements to have someone at my home when they go but I guess he doesn't feel it's important to give that sort of consideration to someone that doesn't have a big job.

Excellent communication, excellent quality of work, and a broad range of services including network wiring and Lutron programming, both of which are extremely hard to find. The entire team (every electrician who has been at our home) is well-trained, well-groomed and well-behaved. Sadly, that's rare in the building trades, at least in our experience.
