My stay at Woolley's Classic Suites hit all the points: comfortability, spacious, luxury, great hospitality and overall a nice aesthetic. It caters well to both business and leisure travelers. I found the classic furnishings, rich wood tones, and timeless decor very old-school Hollywood, but without having to break the bank. Gym, pool, koi pond and waterfall below the Juliet balconies add an element of luxury lodging. The staff is very attentive without being intrusive (Shout out to Mrs. Lisa at Woolley's Grill & Bar) I will sincerely consider returning.

We loved this hotel! Stayed during Christmas time while visiting family and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel was gorgeous and well decorated. The inside was immaculate and we loved the center of the hotel with lush plants and lots of light. There was a restaurant and bar onsite as well as breakfast(not continental) that we didn't try so we can't speak to that. We did go swimming in the pool-it was freezing lol and wished there was a hot tub lol. Our room was huge and so was our bathroom. Loved the huge shower and the large jetted tub. Location was great-quick access to the freeway to get you on your way to anything. Close to the airport for convenience. I believe there is a shuttle from the airport to the hotel but we had a rental car. We will definitely stay here again when we return to visit family.

Comfortable and spacious rooms. Friendly front desk staff. The gym was a little small, but better than nothing!

This place is awesome. Hotel is clean, staff is nice and they have a koi pond running through the middle. They also have a shuttle to/from the airport, free water bottles and apparently cookies upon checkin... but I did not get any. If you are staying in this area, then this is the hotel. Mattresses are nice. Maybe too many pillows. Bathrooms are huge. I think this was previously and embassy suits but this place is so much more.

SERVICE & CHECKIN Ideal representatives at the front desk: stylish, friendly & all smiles! Free early checkin & uncovered parking are available. Checkin speed wasn't the fastest, but the experience was pleasant. Phone service was occasionally slow at times. Tap payment is broken here which was a bummer & heads up: there is a resort fee of $10/day. LOBBY, ELEVATOR, CORRIDORS Lavish, sophisticated, comfortable-- a dream of a lobby. Then onward to the spacious, speedy, & see-through lifts that zip you to your floor. Looking out into the common area is a real treat. Interior walkways were very well-maintained enclosed by beautiful balustrades. ROOM (guest room) https://youtube.com/shorts/KZ1mYbW6Rio?feature=shared Incredibly spacious, classy, and exceptionally clean. Strong lighting from the faux balcony & overhead pair well with the high ceilings & glossy flooring (tile entryway, plush carpet). I was really impressed with the AC system: virtually silent with awesome performance. There's a ton of storage space for extended stays & a productive ergonomic workspace setup for remote work. Cons: Not enough waste receptacles & no recycling BED We slept like babies in our Double Queen configuration: Beauty Rest mattresses dressed in a very cozy, very breathable cotton mix. The choice of pillow fill was also the perfect density. Superb beds. BATH Very high cleaning standards on display in this regal masterpiece of a bathroom. The glass shower is big enough for a dance party while the tub is deep enough to fall sleep in. There's a surplus of grooming toiletries (essential elements) & quality hand showers that provide unyielding & rejuvenating water pressure. Solid facilities all-around. The towels are on the smaller side but the Heavy bathrobes are very comfortable & absorbent. TV & ENTERTAINMENT ~40" SAMSUNG LCD HDTV on a fixed mount w/DirectTV service. The wall mount isn't optimal for such an oversized room, offering no extension, rotation, or tilt. WI-FI & CELL RECEPTION Average (unencrypted) complimentary WiFi offering. We experienced frequent disconnects, so QoS could be improved. Verizon service was very strong for hotspot in this area. --Nerd Stats-- 19-25 Mbps download 17-20 Mbps upload 0.4% packet loss 8 ms latency 35 ms jitter --Performance-- Video streaming - average Online gaming - average Video chatting - average FOOD & DRINK DoorDash friendly. Room service is on speed dial, offering a robust allergen friendly menu. Entrees range $17-35. My favorite items were the burger & steak frites-- perfect temperature with perfectly crispy fries. It's really something special when you can order an entree with fries that are 100% perfectly cooked. Microwave, coffee bar, & medium mini fridge in the room. NOISE Not a peep. LOCATION It's near the freeway but that posed no issues & we felt safe with the surroundings. VERDICT A seriously impressive hotel & my current crush. I can't wait to return & very highly recommend this property. 5/5 @mrstaycation

When I think of airport hotels, I usually think about inns or simple accommodations for a quick night while traveling. I don't tend to think of places like Woolley's. Struck by the beautiful and expansive lobby area, we were very surprised when we arrived. Checking in was efficient and they offered us a box of two chocolate chip cookies which we gladly accepted. The room and bathroom were huge and very nicely appointed. The bed was inviting and the mattress was quite comfortable, offering us an excellent night of sleep. There was a refrigerator in the room and nice toiletries. There for a meeting, we met the group down by the koi pond in the restaurant/bar area on the first night and while we just had appetizers, the atmosphere was enjoyable. In addition to that nice sitting area, the hotel had more to offer. The conference rooms were updated, there was a complimentary hot beverage cart in the lobby, the elevators were very quick, and the room rates were very reasonable. To us, this place appeared to have been a repurposed or former Embassy Suites given the layout but the folks behind Woolley's have done a great job managing the property. I think that perhaps the best thing about the visit was that when we checked out, they offered us two more boxes of cookies! Those freshly baked house-made chocolate chip cookies were delicious!

When weather causes cancellations of flights, there's a general rush of disgruntled passengers trying to figure out alternatives. And when an airline (United in this case) actually provides a hotel and food voucher, one might be skeptical as to quality. The prairie surrounding Denver International Airport is littered with an improbable number of massive hotels. If I'd ever noticed Woolleys Classic Suites before, I don't remember it. The name congers up warm winter underwear. But I was genuinely impressed at every aspect of this of this "classic" hotel. And having visited over 30 countries over the past 50 years, I'm gonna say this place reminds me of some of the "classics" in Europe- only cleaner. I can only speak about the room I got, but it was huge. Lots of "extra" space. The bathroom itself was bigger than some entire hotel rooms I've had in Asia. Large shower AND a deep tub. The bed and bedding were luxurious. Oversized chairs. French doors opened to the cavernous garden lobby. I could hear the water feature gurgling. The breakfast buffet was priced higher than United's voucher. Passed on that. I may be back for a romantic getaway with my wife!

    What we found.

My brother and I had arrived closely to 2am since our plane was delayed. We arrived exhausted. We woke up at 8am ish and left with our day. When we finally got back to the hotel which was 620ish. My brother was looking for the iron and turns out he found a coke bottle and chewing tobacco. We were so disgusted and annoyed since we trusted this beautiful hotel to be cleaned. We went down stairs and the nice lady in the front told us all they can do is have house keeping clean the room since their manager will be here on Sunday. It made no sense since it was already late. We were disgusted. Very disappointed it was my first time in Denver and now I can't even trust a hotel with really good ratings and reviews. Our room number was 253.

What a beautiful property. The rooms were beautiful Victorian theme and very clean. The bed was so luxurious and soft. Even for the price, it was perfect.

We stayed on the property for a few days. They have a restaurant and bar in the main lobby which we did not try. There's also quite a few food options in the surrounding area and about a 10-15 minute drive from the airport. There is a indoor pool that's next to gym. Quite warm in the pool area and there's a window that provides visibly to the pool from the gym. Kind of awkward staring the guys running on the treadmill the whole time... They have a sign that states no food or drinks but there were plenty of glass bottles in the trash. Can't blame folks for wanting to bring drinks in there but come on... Glass? Elevators worked the whole time we were there... Did not see any stairs. Check in/out was fast and painless. They do charge a daily fee w/taxes and an incidental which was just a little over $140 for our 3 night stay. The incidental was refunded a few days after checking out. We had a king sized bed which was not very comfortable. Everyone woke up every day with some sort of congestion. The water pressure in the shower was not that great. Parking can be limited after a certain time in the evening and that's expected, but they have so many side doors that don't allow entry from the outside. Install a card reader or something... That made it such a pain for us because we came and go quite often on this trip. Overall I would look elsewhere if I was staying in Denver. Expected better for the price we paid per night.

Wow! Book a room here! We were traveling thru Denver and trying to find a place near the airport. This popped up and I had never heard of it. I'm so glad we took the time to check into the details - it's a wonderful hotel with a free shuttle to the airport. First and foremost the decor is beautiful - the exterior is a villa style with a Spanish tile roof. It's probably one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in within the US for under $160. I believe it's a subsidiary of embassy suites and the only location in the US right now. When you walk into the lobby, you are met with an herbal garden fresh scent wafting throughout the open floor plan. The bar and grill offer free happy hour drinks and snacks in a beautiful setting that includes beautiful conversational seating and the sights and sounds of a trickling Koi stream that runs the length of the open air bar area. *Helen, Who works in the restaurant, was a breath of fresh air - very sweet. Everyone needs to encounter someone like Helen. The rooms are extravagant and very comfortable - king sized, fluffy white bed with elaborate dark wood headboards and furniture. The bathrooms have beautiful white granite flooring and a huge soaking tub and walk-in shower. Free HBO & WiFi in the very quiet rooms. We were told by a guest that if you spend at least one night at the hotel, you can leave your car parked in their parking lot for up to 15 days instead of using airport parking. And you get a free shuttle to the airport. I give the hotel five stars, but the 2 male shuttle drivers we encountered rate two stars - not friendly or accommodating & a bit surly. They receive two stars simply because they got us to the airport. One driver obviously expected a tip and when we did not have cash he became instantly rude.

Ask the Community - Woolley's Classic Suites

Does Wooley’s have a parking garage? Moving across country and will have lots of my things in my car overnight...?

They do not have a parking garage. Just an outdoor parking lot in the front, back and sides. It seems like a fairly safe area and most time you can park right out front.

The shower drain is backing up. When I just took a shower, I had to stand in dirty water. The refrigerator is barely keeping anything cold and is freezing over on the inside. I went to lay down and I found jelly on the side of the nightstand next to the bed! The bathroom configuration with the toilet and shower separated and having the sink's faucet offset, is ridiculous. Then at night when I want to wind down and watch tv from my bed I can't because the TV is so far off to the side I can't barely see it. I have paid far less to stay at Marriot hotels with much better conditions. I assume since there's an event in town - Marriott decided to price gouge instead of charging a reasonable rate for a very poorly managed hotel. Update: Their breakfast is about as desirable as the rest of the hotel. There was hardly anything to choose from. They had breakfast sandwiches that were soggy and cold. The oatmeal was dried out. Of course your standard powdered eggs and sausage patties. The area with cereal look like it had exploded because no one was cleaning up any messes. No bagels or breakfast pastries, just English muffins. Usually I'd just grab a yogurt but they didn't even have that. What was really upsetting is when the lady who was supposed to be restocking everything couldn't restock food for everyone but brought ONE person like 2 dozen sausage patties but can't restock food for anyone else? Breakfast wasn't stocked ANY day we were there. (Reduced to 2 stars) Update 2: I'm assuming this is a pet friendly hotel but pet friendly shouldn't mean I have to listen to a dog barking all night in a room next to me. Normally I can sleep decent but I slept horrible from the beds and pillows being super uncomfortable. The hotel shakes every day around noon to 2pm, I thought it was an earthquake at first, no clue what that was about. So be aware of that if you try to take a nap mid-day. (Reduced to 1 star) I noticed on their website that the manager responds to complaints, but there are similar complaint by a lot of people. I can't believe we spent $1k to stay here and not have any amenities as simple as daily room service, a decent breakfast, clean room, working refrigerator, drains that aren't backed up, etc. Also, the upholstered furniture in the room is disgusting and needs to be cleaned.

Our more frequent doctors are conveniently in Boulder and Longmont. But some surgeries do need to happen at Anschutz. It's a facility that draws patients from several states so nearby lodging is important. SpringHill Suites was one of the first. There is a Hyatt next door. They share a shuttle service that takes patients and family members across busy, 8 lane Colfax to both University Hospital and Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion, Sue Rodger's Anschutz Eye Center as well as to Colorado Children's Hospital. This visit was planned for my husbands eye surgery and though a day surgery with a post op appointment the next day, we decided to stay over until he was cleared to drive back to Boulder as I don't drive because of a low vision condition. In winter, the extra time is even more important. The hotel has rooms designed and priced for this need. It was less expensive to stay here than to pay for car rides back and forth each day. The rooms are small studio suites with comfortable furniture and linens, micro fridge and micro wave and workspace with lots of lights and charging plugs. The room we had was nearly identical to what we had a decade ago, so upkeep and updating must be done regularly. The staff only changes linens as needed to save water but they were happy to leave off extra towels for our 3 day stay. The lounge downstairs serves breakfast staples as many do. Simple stuff my husband was ok with though I needed more options but u was free to do this while he was in surgery. There is a bar for evening that we did not use. There was a small convenience area with sodas, snacks, and. Serious treats but they were out of a few things he wanted, like ice cream. The rotating staff members were all helpful and pleasant. We used the shuttle on surgery day but walked the next day in nice weather for a little exercise. Shuttle driver was very feelingly. The second day there was a phone issue at the Hyatt next door that prevented us getting the shuttle though we didn't really need it anyway.if the weather had required it, I think we had plenty of time to have it resolved. The walk was only 6 minutes, using the pedestrian bridge over Colfax, which you are not allowed to cross on foot. It is prominently posted at the corners where it had been allowed in the past before the road got so wide and busy. One thing we noted different on this visit was that we were given a room facing Colfax as in the past , both times, we had rooms facing the parking lot. It was very noisy even with the heavy drake across the window. Take parking lot if you can get it. We will if there is a next time. Another small annoyance was that our 3rd floor room smelled lightly of bacon for about 30 minutes as the breakfast was being cooked. That had not happened in our first floor rooms a decade ago but I am not aware if they even served breakfast back then.

Probably never complain about the room was that I couldn't 62° and was limited to 65° and it took a long time to get there. My second complaint would be, something that I've seen as a trend recently in hotels. The bed is oriented towards the window, and so the TV is at kind of a weird angle for people who like to watch from bed. It was a decent sized room, but I kind of felt there was so much furniture in there, and at such weird positioning that it felt rather cramped. Bed was OK, pillows were a little small. Refrigerator worked fine, it did not have a freezer compartment. I really would've appreciated a microwave in the room. The bathroom was nice and large and I don't really have any complaints about that. The parking garage was quite large, but it was a bit of a haul from the parking garage to the entrance of the hotel and did not make enjoyable trips with considerable luggage.

There is a library so the guests are able to select reading material during their stay. There is a bar area and restaurant located opposite the front desk. The restaurant Common Good has wonderful food and everything is made from scratch including their pasta, and yogurt. My Mom and I had a late meal, at the bar area on Sunday night. We had a beautiful mixed greens salad that had radishes, tomatoes topped with a buttermilk ranch dressing. It was so wonderful. We also had Sausage Penne Vodka pasta which was fantastic. The sausage was a little spicy, but I absolutely loved it. For dessert we decided to have the lemon blueberry cake which consisted of cream cheese frosting, lemon curd mixed with cake crumbles, topped with fresh blueberries bursting with flavor. It was so delicious. I highly recommend this dessert. The hotel room we stayed in had 2 Queen beds, a beautiful seating area with a table and 2 Blue high back leather chairs. These chairs looked like something that would be in someone's living room. They were extremely comfortable. There were 2 separate luggage areas that contained a small shelf area underneath for shoes. The closet was spacious with wooden hangers and had a safe plus an umbrella. The top of the dresser had a small coffee bar area that contained Everybody boxed water. One important point that I must mention is that in order to access your room your hotel key must be scanned in the elevator. This is a very nice safety feature that ensures only people staying in the hotel, can access the rooms, of the floors. The electricity in the room is controlled with the hotel key, it is smart electricity whichI is a nice feature. A light comes on once you enter the bathroom which is really nice. There are so many nice small touches in the bathroom. There is a complimentary blow dryer which saves space in your luggage since they provide this. Lockwood Shampoo, conditioner, and lotion are located in a nice dispenser, in the shower. The shower is spacious with a nice bench seat. It has a glass shower door that pivots inside and out. The entire bathroom is beautiful. The towels are located underneath the sink on a wooden shelf. There is also a nice touch with a scale. This hotel has thought of everything. The one thing I noticed was that there wasn't a Gideon's Bible in the room. I am used to staying in hotels that have a Bible. I left my Bible at home and really wanted to read one since my brother was having his surgery. Being a believer is the one thing that has gotten me through so much. I actually thought that a Bible might be located in the library.

The bed was comfy and clean, and the ac/heating unit worked super well. Nice shower with nice Dove soap, shampoo, and conditioner options (appreciated that they have the refillable ones rather than single use ones.) decent breakfast that's complimentary. Didn't end up checking out the workout room so can't comment. Very convenient to get to the airport (traffic seems like it's usually better from the direction of aurora to the airport than from Denver itself) as well as Colorado's medical center. The hotel has a shuttle to take ppl to the medical center, and you can bus-train to the airport in like 45 min. Was super happy with this place, felt like it was really nice for how cheap it was. And staff were great too.

I arrived on December 24, 2024 for a scheduled medical appointment the following week. On December 25th a note had been slipped under the door saying "no cleaning of rooms." Nothing posted at the counter upon check in nor did the desk check in say anything on December 24th. 3. Bathtub had a dark ring around it from not being cleaned from the onset. 4. Room stayed dirty for two days. You have to personally ask for it to be fully cleaned. Nothing is mention on their website about asking to be cleaned. They want you to leave the room during their stated cleaning session which does not occur. 5. Floor was NEVER cleaned during my entire stay for eight days. 6. Some of the housekeeping employees does understand a ENGLISH WORD. 7. Called the corporate office and made and a complaint. The housekeeping manager engaged me for an argument and being to say "why did you call corporate I have to answer those complaints. 8. Had an issue with a guess and had to fully explain the racist ruddiness of the Individual. I was told to calm down by the front desk representative. She played the race card game in full view. 9. If you have small kids or major health issues with your back or legs the beds are too high. As a person being 57 inches the matters reached my lower buttocks standing up. 10. Extremely small towel space while setting down. If you have large legs or bigger size forget it. Don't forget to close the commode led while flushing because the water will flash up and out. 11. Thin cheap bath towels and clothes. The pillows stinky! The wash clothes are like rubbing your bare hands on your face. They are just that thin. The Dollar General store ones are much thicker. 12. Small trash cans are less than the size of a kid's soccer ball. 13. Staff gets offended if you bring issues to their attention. I informed them about cold water for coffee and was told the water had been placed in the pot. Called maintenance about the refrigerator not being cold. He arrived and stated the reason was I had adjusted the temperature to the number seven setting. Any one that's mechanical inclined knows about PSI and seven is high. He adjusted it to zero almost. 14. One guest had a dog in the dining area where you eat your food. 15. The breakfast is not for vegetarian. If you are looking for sugar and fat that is the place. 16. Staff are not as friendly as you might think.

We were a bit early to check in at 9:00am, so our room was not quite ready. "Ed" our hotel associate at the front desk, recommended a diner close by (see "Rosie's Dinner" review). After breakfast it was still too early so we toured the property. There's an indoor pool and Spa. A Fitness Center, and several conference rooms. One was set up to buy gold. While waiting Wally stopped by and offered us the famous Doubletree cookies. They were still warm and falling apart as we tried to eat them. Finally our room was ready. Since we were part of a group our room was on the group leaders card. There was a minor issue, but Ed was on top of it. He had it resolved in mins. Got the key to our room and we were quite impressed. Spacious King bed room, smartly planned and a good use of space. Great place to come to at the end of the day. When in Aurora, I highly recommend this location. Free parking, restaurant on site, indoor pool, and lots of other amenities. I truly can't say enough about our stay. Stop by and say hello to Ed for me. Michael C. - Georgetown, Tx.

The hotel is located across the street from the Anschutz Medical Campus. They keep the entrance locked at all times. If you don't have a key card to enter, the front desk staff will buzz you in. Upon my arrival, I received a complimentary bottle of water which I appreciated. When I got to my room, I tried to turn on the TV, however it wouldn't work. Maintenance came up pretty quickly to fix the issue. Somehow my room did not have the correct remote for the TV. Luckily they were able to find a remote that did work with the TV so that was a relief. The room was nice, spacious, and clean. It had a microwave, mini fridge, and a little coffee bar. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. They offered complimentary breakfast each morning. The food was mediocre, but I did appreciate the fact that they had a good amount of offerings like eggs, ham, pastries, cereal, and yogurt. I stopped by the H Bar (located in the lobby) for happy hour. I didn't order any food, but I did have a French 75 which I enjoyed. I had a comfortable stay at the Hyatt House.

Being that it was located right across the street from several hospitals... They only had 2 wheelchairs and one luggage cart? Trying to pull up to the front of the hotel was a bit of a mess because their huge van sits right out front of the very little space to park and unload. Once I loaded everything up, I was juggling quite a bit... And it just seemed like the workers there even though they were young men were not very helpful at all. And one of them was just kind of standing around.. It was spacious and clean when you walked in. There was a bar situated to the left... Where you could have drinks or could order some dinner... once we got settled. I went downstairs to see if I could order some food there and the first thing the guy tells me is that they have no salads and offered me to go to the restaurant that was around the corner... I didn't get the feeling he really wanted to work. I was pretty tired at this point after working all day... So I was a little annoyed that I had to walk down there to go get food. As far as the rooms went for a one night day, it wasn't bad! It was also ADA friendly, which helped with our wheelchair. Breakfast was really good and fresh and the staff were very kind! So it definitely ended on a better note! I would probably stay here again... For a night. But they just need to figure out how to really be a little more hands-on with the guests that are staying and have more wheelchair availability luggage cards, etc..

This experience was so bad that I need to warn anyone considering this hotel. Cleanliness and housekeeping: My room (225) was only cleaned once during my entire stay. Towels were refreshed occasionally, but bed linens were changed only once. I had to request room service four or five times before anyone came, and even then, the bathroom wasn't cleaned. The cleaning staff tried to reuse the same two-week-old duvet and mattress cover until I insisted everything be replaced -- and even then, they still put the old duvet back. I ended up having to wash linens myself because no one would properly clean the room, which is not something any guest should have to do. I literally had to strip both beds myself and take them downstairs in order to get clean linen. Unprofessional staff: I experienced multiple interactions with the front desk that were extremely unprofessional. One employee was dismissive, interrupted me repeatedly, and handed me wet towels as replacements. I even overheard staff admit that they had been instructed not to treat guests connected to programs the same way as regular paying guests -- and it definitely felt that way. Safety and disturbances: The hotel is very noisy. Guests were constantly stomping, fighting, and running up and down the halls. Dogs were barking in the middle of the night, and I had to deal with guests fighting next door. On one occasion, the overnight clerk was screaming and cursing loudly in the lobby with multiple guests present. It felt unsafe and chaotic. Broken amenities: The elevators were not working for much of my stay, forcing people of all ages to walk multiple flights of stairs. I even called the City of Aurora myself to report the different issues. The laundry facility was also broken, forcing guests to walk to a nearby laundromat, which is not a safe option in this neighborhood. Communication issues: There were clear language barriers with some housekeeping staff, and my repeated requests for service were ignored. I had to intervene multiple times just to get basic cleanliness addressed. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to families or anyone looking for a safe, clean, and professional stay. For over $5,000 for 60 days, the experience was horrific -- unclean rooms, unprofessional staff, safety issues, broken amenities, and ignored guest requests.
