Jack and Drew greeted me promptly and professionally at the front desk. They were friendly and informative. The customer service here speaks volumes to their organization!

We stayed here while visiting my sister, and it was a pleasant experience. The hotel has a bar and restaurant on-site, which is super convenient. Jazmine checked us in and was warm and energetic. When we requested a room change due to an odor and a noisy air conditioner, they were very accommodating and gracious, quickly giving us a new room that was perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable with soft pillows, and the room had nice amenities, including a microwave, refrigerator, and coffeemaker. The dresser drawers were deep, allowing us to store our belongings easily, and the closet was spacious enough to fit two large suitcases while still allowing us to hang up our clothes. An iron and ironing board were also provided, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a comfortable room and a nice stay.

"Ad" "Fully Refundable" "Reserve Now, Pay Later"

EDIT: Choosing to respond with snark instead of understanding that my issue here is in principle in customer treatment and not about a dollar amount, I'd like to point out that while I did indeed "book a non cancellable non refundable reservation to get a discounted rate and then needed to cancel my reservation." I only CHOSE this hotel because Hilton runs PAID AD PLACEMENTS which literally state "Fully Refundable" and "Reserve Now Pay Later" as options on Expedia and though I was ill, I needed a last minute flight and hotel package to try to attend a funeral, which I can't make now. So apparently Hilton is either paying to lie or I couldn't read the placement properly. Anyone want to take a look? Sorry for trying to choose your brand--it's Aurora. I could've chosen The Benson or Woolley's or literally stayed anywhere else. Never Hilton anywhere again now. Not a surprise Manager Scott missed the whole point of this feedback and interaction. It should also be noted this Hilton only has 4 stars on Expedia, most other sites are 3s and lower --which had me nervous anyway. Maybe that's why they purchase the misleading placements? Maybe I should run this up the chain more, wouldn't think Hilton as a brand would want to mislead customers. See screenshot below: Original Post: Manager Scott Turbow does not care about customer satisfaction despite the cheesy Facebook post which claims he does the opposite. Manager Scott decided not to refund my cancelled third party booking despite it being 48 hours in advance and covered by travel insurance. The reviews here don't even carry an average of 3 and for a Hilton property, that says a LOT. Hilton was my preferred accommodations provider. Keep up the bad work, Manager Scott Turbow!

Service is Excellent! Very friendly staff. Great location too! Right off of the freeway. Right next to the gas station Free parking and a lot of it. About 20 min to Denver downtown About 30 mins to Red Rocks About a hour to Colorado springs For diamond, they did gave a free upgrade to the suite and gave us $30 food credit everyday! Hotel was remodeled, but you can tell it's older. Internet was slow and not moving at times. Shower water got cold randomly. Mattress was sagging in the middle. People slamming their doors kept waking me up. But the service made up for it. I would probably try one of the many new hotels next time, but overall very pleased.

I was able to stay here for a work trip, because our conference was located inside one of their conference rooms. I never had any issues with customer service, and they took care of all of my questions and needs. They provide shuttle service to from the airport every hour, starting at 6 AM, but I'm not sure about the time that they stop offering shuttle service. I was offered a king room that was very spacious. I had a nice little separate coffee area, and my bathroom was decently sized as well. Included in our work package was two morning breakfast buffets that were nothing to complain about as well. They offered a buffet style of waffles, scrambled eggs, cereals, yogurts, fruits, and an assortment of breads. We had the server both mornings, and he was very sweet. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again if I was in the area.

I am leaving a 1 star review for this hotel, The DoubleTree by Hilton - Aurora, because it was beyond disappointing in every way. Firstly, walking into the lobby felt just like walking into a sauna. It had to be at least 78-80 degrees throughout our entire stay. Secondly, our room was horrendous and only got worse with every step into the room - see attached pictures. The walls and windows are paper thin, you can hear every noise that's above a whisper on either side and through the window. Also the elevator is unnecessarily loud and sketchy. If it hadn't been really late when we arrived from the 2,500+ mile cross country road trip we were on, we would've RUN out of this pitiful hotel. The cherry on top of it all is that it was $250 for the night... highly recommend skipping this hotel. Best wishes!

Any place that gives me fresh, warm, and delicious chocolate cookies is a winner in my book. Honestly though, this is a fantastic hotel. I don't agree with the overall rating it has here on Yelp. My experience was great. It's conveniently located off the 225 in Aurora and is a good kid-point between Downtown and the airport. They offer shuttle service to the airport which was a key reason I chose it. Our flight was to leave in the morning and instead of waking up very early to return the car I planned to return it the day before and then take the shuttle to the airport. Gave us more time to sleep. This was the best hotel I found that offered shuttle service and was close to Downtown. Keep in mind you must request the shuttle service. Best to do so at check-in. Also, the first shuttle leaves at 6am. Not sure when the last one does. The shuttle bus driver was very nice. Also, note that you also have to request maid service at check-in. The staff, in general, was friendly. I received a couple of texts from Sunday and Rachel asking how our stay was going. Nice little detail. I had never experienced this before. At first, I was suspicious and called front desk to confirm Sindy worked there. She did, lol. Our room was nice, had lots of space. For a hotel by the freeways, it quiet inside and outside. They had some tables and chairs set up outside in front of the hotel. They made for a nice spot to chill and relax. The lobby was also nice and relaxing. Overall, the vibe at the hotel was relaxing (or chillaxing). I liked that. As I mentioned, it is near Downtown so it won't take long (depending on traffic) to see the sights and attractions, but it is also outside the stress that Downtown areas tend to have. Aurora is a pretty chill place, from what we got to experience. There are some good places to eat and family friendly things to do. The hotel does have a restaurant, in case you decide to stay in. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends and family looking for a place to stay in Denver. Almost forgot, I overheard the couple next to me checking in get turn around because they had a cat. The manager told them that even though the hotel is pet friendly the website states dogs only. I checked and it is true. So for those cat owners, keep this is mind. Check the website to read the details.

DOUBLETREE DENVER: Doug was a friendly, courteous, and professional employee. After finishing the check-in process, he handed me two cold water bottles and two, warm, fresh chocolate chip cookies. They were wonderful! The room was neat and clean...and quiet! Truth be known, however, I could have probably slept through a "Rocky Mountain High" John Denver concert if it would have been held in the adjoining room, ha! (720 miles in one day on a motorcycle always helps me sleep well.) The entrance / lobby area is enormous with lots of ample and comfortable seating. There's a bar / lounge to the right that I understand one can purchase something to eat. We did not visit it so I can't attest to the menu or quality of food. There is a local bar next door one can walk to (which we did) that has a good menu and decent food. I definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

Horrible experience No AC in room we stopped last min cause we needed sleep in a cross country road trip when I called they PROMISED 2 Tesla chargers and then I get there and one was broken and one was taken by a GMC truck ALL night. And once my kids were sleeping they wanted me to switch rooms cause that was the only option for AC well I wasn't gonna wake up my kids a d they didn't care at all the next morning. The lady was actually condescending yo me. Worst choice in hotel I've been to in years. I'll never be back

The shower drain is backing up. When I just took a shower, I had to stand in dirty water. The refrigerator is barely keeping anything cold and is freezing over on the inside. I went to lay down and I found jelly on the side of the nightstand next to the bed! The bathroom configuration with the toilet and shower separated and having the sink's faucet offset, is ridiculous. Then at night when I want to wind down and watch tv from my bed I can't because the TV is so far off to the side I can't barely see it. I have paid far less to stay at Marriot hotels with much better conditions. I assume since there's an event in town - Marriott decided to price gouge instead of charging a reasonable rate for a very poorly managed hotel. Update: Their breakfast is about as desirable as the rest of the hotel. There was hardly anything to choose from. They had breakfast sandwiches that were soggy and cold. The oatmeal was dried out. Of course your standard powdered eggs and sausage patties. The area with cereal look like it had exploded because no one was cleaning up any messes. No bagels or breakfast pastries, just English muffins. Usually I'd just grab a yogurt but they didn't even have that. What was really upsetting is when the lady who was supposed to be restocking everything couldn't restock food for everyone but brought ONE person like 2 dozen sausage patties but can't restock food for anyone else? Breakfast wasn't stocked ANY day we were there. (Reduced to 2 stars) Update 2: I'm assuming this is a pet friendly hotel but pet friendly shouldn't mean I have to listen to a dog barking all night in a room next to me. Normally I can sleep decent but I slept horrible from the beds and pillows being super uncomfortable. The hotel shakes every day around noon to 2pm, I thought it was an earthquake at first, no clue what that was about. So be aware of that if you try to take a nap mid-day. (Reduced to 1 star) I noticed on their website that the manager responds to complaints, but there are similar complaint by a lot of people. I can't believe we spent $1k to stay here and not have any amenities as simple as daily room service, a decent breakfast, clean room, working refrigerator, drains that aren't backed up, etc. Also, the upholstered furniture in the room is disgusting and needs to be cleaned.

Our more frequent doctors are conveniently in Boulder and Longmont. But some surgeries do need to happen at Anschutz. It's a facility that draws patients from several states so nearby lodging is important. SpringHill Suites was one of the first. There is a Hyatt next door. They share a shuttle service that takes patients and family members across busy, 8 lane Colfax to both University Hospital and Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion, Sue Rodger's Anschutz Eye Center as well as to Colorado Children's Hospital. This visit was planned for my husbands eye surgery and though a day surgery with a post op appointment the next day, we decided to stay over until he was cleared to drive back to Boulder as I don't drive because of a low vision condition. In winter, the extra time is even more important. The hotel has rooms designed and priced for this need. It was less expensive to stay here than to pay for car rides back and forth each day. The rooms are small studio suites with comfortable furniture and linens, micro fridge and micro wave and workspace with lots of lights and charging plugs. The room we had was nearly identical to what we had a decade ago, so upkeep and updating must be done regularly. The staff only changes linens as needed to save water but they were happy to leave off extra towels for our 3 day stay. The lounge downstairs serves breakfast staples as many do. Simple stuff my husband was ok with though I needed more options but u was free to do this while he was in surgery. There is a bar for evening that we did not use. There was a small convenience area with sodas, snacks, and. Serious treats but they were out of a few things he wanted, like ice cream. The rotating staff members were all helpful and pleasant. We used the shuttle on surgery day but walked the next day in nice weather for a little exercise. Shuttle driver was very feelingly. The second day there was a phone issue at the Hyatt next door that prevented us getting the shuttle though we didn't really need it anyway.if the weather had required it, I think we had plenty of time to have it resolved. The walk was only 6 minutes, using the pedestrian bridge over Colfax, which you are not allowed to cross on foot. It is prominently posted at the corners where it had been allowed in the past before the road got so wide and busy. One thing we noted different on this visit was that we were given a room facing Colfax as in the past , both times, we had rooms facing the parking lot. It was very noisy even with the heavy drake across the window. Take parking lot if you can get it. We will if there is a next time. Another small annoyance was that our 3rd floor room smelled lightly of bacon for about 30 minutes as the breakfast was being cooked. That had not happened in our first floor rooms a decade ago but I am not aware if they even served breakfast back then.

Probably never complain about the room was that I couldn't 62° and was limited to 65° and it took a long time to get there. My second complaint would be, something that I've seen as a trend recently in hotels. The bed is oriented towards the window, and so the TV is at kind of a weird angle for people who like to watch from bed. It was a decent sized room, but I kind of felt there was so much furniture in there, and at such weird positioning that it felt rather cramped. Bed was OK, pillows were a little small. Refrigerator worked fine, it did not have a freezer compartment. I really would've appreciated a microwave in the room. The bathroom was nice and large and I don't really have any complaints about that. The parking garage was quite large, but it was a bit of a haul from the parking garage to the entrance of the hotel and did not make enjoyable trips with considerable luggage.

One important point that I must mention is that in order to access your room your hotel key must be scanned in the elevator. This is a very nice safety feature that ensures only people staying in the hotel, can access the rooms, of the floors. The electricity in the room is controlled with the hotel key, it is smart electricity whichI is a nice feature. A light comes on once you enter the bathroom which is really nice. There are so many nice small touches in the bathroom. There is a complimentary blow dryer which saves space in your luggage since they provide this. Lockwood Shampoo, conditioner, and lotion are located in a nice dispenser, in the shower. The shower is spacious with a nice bench seat. It has a glass shower door that pivots inside and out. The entire bathroom is beautiful. The towels are located underneath the sink on a wooden shelf. There is also a nice touch with a scale. This hotel has thought of everything. The one thing I noticed was that there wasn't a Gideon's Bible in the room. I am used to staying in hotels that have a Bible. I left my Bible at home and really wanted to read one since my brother was having his surgery. Being a believer is the one thing that has gotten me through so much. I actually thought that a Bible might be located in the library.

The bed was comfy and clean, and the ac/heating unit worked super well. Nice shower with nice Dove soap, shampoo, and conditioner options (appreciated that they have the refillable ones rather than single use ones.) decent breakfast that's complimentary. Didn't end up checking out the workout room so can't comment. Very convenient to get to the airport (traffic seems like it's usually better from the direction of aurora to the airport than from Denver itself) as well as Colorado's medical center. The hotel has a shuttle to take ppl to the medical center, and you can bus-train to the airport in like 45 min. Was super happy with this place, felt like it was really nice for how cheap it was. And staff were great too.

I arrived on December 24, 2024 for a scheduled medical appointment the following week. On December 25th a note had been slipped under the door saying "no cleaning of rooms." Nothing posted at the counter upon check in nor did the desk check in say anything on December 24th. 3. Bathtub had a dark ring around it from not being cleaned from the onset. 4. Room stayed dirty for two days. You have to personally ask for it to be fully cleaned. Nothing is mention on their website about asking to be cleaned. They want you to leave the room during their stated cleaning session which does not occur. 5. Floor was NEVER cleaned during my entire stay for eight days. 6. Some of the housekeeping employees does understand a ENGLISH WORD. 7. Called the corporate office and made and a complaint. The housekeeping manager engaged me for an argument and being to say "why did you call corporate I have to answer those complaints. 8. Had an issue with a guess and had to fully explain the racist ruddiness of the Individual. I was told to calm down by the front desk representative. She played the race card game in full view. 9. If you have small kids or major health issues with your back or legs the beds are too high. As a person being 57 inches the matters reached my lower buttocks standing up. 10. Extremely small towel space while setting down. If you have large legs or bigger size forget it. Don't forget to close the commode led while flushing because the water will flash up and out. 11. Thin cheap bath towels and clothes. The pillows stinky! The wash clothes are like rubbing your bare hands on your face. They are just that thin. The Dollar General store ones are much thicker. 12. Small trash cans are less than the size of a kid's soccer ball. 13. Staff gets offended if you bring issues to their attention. I informed them about cold water for coffee and was told the water had been placed in the pot. Called maintenance about the refrigerator not being cold. He arrived and stated the reason was I had adjusted the temperature to the number seven setting. Any one that's mechanical inclined knows about PSI and seven is high. He adjusted it to zero almost. 14. One guest had a dog in the dining area where you eat your food. 15. The breakfast is not for vegetarian. If you are looking for sugar and fat that is the place. 16. Staff are not as friendly as you might think.

Upon my arrival, I received a complimentary bottle of water which I appreciated. When I got to my room, I tried to turn on the TV, however it wouldn't work. Maintenance came up pretty quickly to fix the issue. Somehow my room did not have the correct remote for the TV. Luckily they were able to find a remote that did work with the TV so that was a relief. The room was nice, spacious, and clean. It had a microwave, mini fridge, and a little coffee bar. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. They offered complimentary breakfast each morning. The food was mediocre, but I did appreciate the fact that they had a good amount of offerings like eggs, ham, pastries, cereal, and yogurt. I stopped by the H Bar (located in the lobby) for happy hour. I didn't order any food, but I did have a French 75 which I enjoyed. I had a comfortable stay at the Hyatt House.

Being that it was located right across the street from several hospitals... They only had 2 wheelchairs and one luggage cart? Trying to pull up to the front of the hotel was a bit of a mess because their huge van sits right out front of the very little space to park and unload. Once I loaded everything up, I was juggling quite a bit... And it just seemed like the workers there even though they were young men were not very helpful at all. And one of them was just kind of standing around.. It was spacious and clean when you walked in. There was a bar situated to the left... Where you could have drinks or could order some dinner... once we got settled. I went downstairs to see if I could order some food there and the first thing the guy tells me is that they have no salads and offered me to go to the restaurant that was around the corner... I didn't get the feeling he really wanted to work. I was pretty tired at this point after working all day... So I was a little annoyed that I had to walk down there to go get food. As far as the rooms went for a one night day, it wasn't bad! It was also ADA friendly, which helped with our wheelchair. Breakfast was really good and fresh and the staff were very kind! So it definitely ended on a better note! I would probably stay here again... For a night. But they just need to figure out how to really be a little more hands-on with the guests that are staying and have more wheelchair availability luggage cards, etc..

What does that mean? Well for starters, there are 70 hotel options and one need never leave core downtown Denver; that is unless you don't want the potential to have your night disrupted by the wail of sirens echoing down the canyon walls of the city's skyscrapers. What came next in this quick, unplanned overnight was a welcome jaunt from central Denver. I'd read high praise of the property and decided to see for myself. While located close to the main airport, it's not in the most socially active area. With that noted, everything else was great and fell in to place smoothly. Accommodations resembled acreage and were adequately appointed. The front desk staff was top rate. The large breakfast spread that came with my overnight was well above average. Crazy this roadside hotel, "out near the airport" in a place with more traditional mid-level box hotels rivals the best alternatives across the Denver region once you enter their sphere. Upon learning it was a pet project of one of the descendants of the Embassy Suites empire, it all makes a little more sense.

This experience was so bad that I need to warn anyone considering this hotel. Cleanliness and housekeeping: My room (225) was only cleaned once during my entire stay. Towels were refreshed occasionally, but bed linens were changed only once. I had to request room service four or five times before anyone came, and even then, the bathroom wasn't cleaned. The cleaning staff tried to reuse the same two-week-old duvet and mattress cover until I insisted everything be replaced -- and even then, they still put the old duvet back. I ended up having to wash linens myself because no one would properly clean the room, which is not something any guest should have to do. I literally had to strip both beds myself and take them downstairs in order to get clean linen. Unprofessional staff: I experienced multiple interactions with the front desk that were extremely unprofessional. One employee was dismissive, interrupted me repeatedly, and handed me wet towels as replacements. I even overheard staff admit that they had been instructed not to treat guests connected to programs the same way as regular paying guests -- and it definitely felt that way. Safety and disturbances: The hotel is very noisy. Guests were constantly stomping, fighting, and running up and down the halls. Dogs were barking in the middle of the night, and I had to deal with guests fighting next door. On one occasion, the overnight clerk was screaming and cursing loudly in the lobby with multiple guests present. It felt unsafe and chaotic. Broken amenities: The elevators were not working for much of my stay, forcing people of all ages to walk multiple flights of stairs. I even called the City of Aurora myself to report the different issues. The laundry facility was also broken, forcing guests to walk to a nearby laundromat, which is not a safe option in this neighborhood. Communication issues: There were clear language barriers with some housekeeping staff, and my repeated requests for service were ignored. I had to intervene multiple times just to get basic cleanliness addressed. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to families or anyone looking for a safe, clean, and professional stay. For over $5,000 for 60 days, the experience was horrific -- unclean rooms, unprofessional staff, safety issues, broken amenities, and ignored guest requests.
