Most of the time when you are traveling, you may write a review about a business after one encounter, not so here. We live within an hour of Paris, TN and Woody's is one of the "go-to places" we really like. There are several nice places in Paris. Woody's is a place you would not get tired of going to because of the nice selection of food. Drink prices are fair, food prices are fair and they keep a nice clean establishment. We usually have a pizza about every 3rd visit and something else the other 2. The dough they use for the pizza has its own flavor. It is different, but definitely nice! Good sandwiches and hors d'oeuvres etc. We never feel rushed to leave and the wait staff is polite and courteous. Other than free food, what more you ask for in a restaurant? read more

Ate at Woody's with family over the weekend for the first time because my father has been raving about it. The restaurant was clean and there was plenty of room to sit. We were greeted as soon as we came inside. We were able to get a table for 12 no problem. Our waitress checked on us multiple times and was very attentive. Ordered a cheese pizza to test the pizza out. It was a great tasting pizza. Nothing out of this world about the pizza but just a typical tasty pizza from a small town pizza place. The cinnamon sticks were ordered and our family shared them at the table. They were delicious - definitely a staple to remembering my experience at Woody's. I have to give them some credit on price - extremely reasonable for the amount of food you receive. Would visit again but would not go out of my way to do so. read more

you are telling me my waiter can ask everybody in the restaurant if they need a refill besides me??? not only that why am I waiting 50 minutes for a single pizza, and why do I have to get up just to get a refill this is not McDonald's, but that would be generous comparing this place to McDonald's considering they actually have good customer service. The place is cool I guess but that's not enough to make up for the wait and thirst, they do a good job at refilling others people alcohol, I'm still thirsty by the way. We walked in almost 50 minutes ago and people that were here before us got served minutes ago, that's impressive but not in a good way. Went to this place after not going there for two year this evening. Place seems like it is going downhill. First off... after being seated... on the front of the menu... it says "WE Deliver!" They do not. We ordered diet Dr. Pepper listed on the menu, server informed us they do not have that any longer. Ok? Take if off your menu. Then we order a 16 inch Med. Select Pizza. We waited for a bit, then after pizza arrived they brought it to us in the open pizza box to our table. Nothing to dip it with, once looking at appearance it seemed to look like a frozen pizza that had just barely been cooked. My husband and each took a slice thinking ok we will try it, and the onions and green peppers were still raw. Not even warm. No extra cheese like we ordered, matter of fact, hardly none at all. I couldn't even eat it. After three bites I pushed my plate away. My husband ate about 3/4 of his slice and we were ready to leave. Many workers passed by our table and none asked once if everything g was ok. Finally I went to the front and asked for my ticked and was asked it all was ok, I said no, and proceeded to tell the cashier. She went and got our server who brought our ticked. I told him, and his answer was well my manager is back in the kitchen. It will be tough to get him out here, if you want I can see what I can do, but I'll tell you there is probably nothing he can do about it. I was ticked off at this point. Don't even try to make it right. Don't go over and even look at the non eaten pizza at the table, charge me for it and get me out of there as fast as you can. They will be receiving a phone call tomorrow to the day manager to explain what happened. I Will NOT be back. Very unprofessional Al and poorly managed place. First had experience was when it took over an hour to have my pizza delivered. Idk what the deal was something about the delivery guy getting lost? Then when we got the pizza it was cold and looked like it was tossed around in the car. Took it back for a new one and even then the chicken was dry. I'm a believer in second chances so on another night I ordered the same buffalo chicken pizza and it was amazing chicken wasn't dry it was perfect and delivery was good too. Well last night the delivery for the same pizza flavor was behind cuz there was a mixup with the pizzas no big deal as long as it gets here welp the chicken was dry and now I don't feel well after eating a few pieces my neighbor had a couple slices and said she didn't feel well either. read more

As someone who grew up in Paris and subsequently left after graduating high school, I was pleasantly surprised to see Woody's when I came back to visit. I came here one night with my dad and boyfriend. My dad and I split a large select pizza which I thought was good and seemed to be a good portion for the two of us. My boyfriend had the full portion philly cheese steak sandwich. Fair warning, the full portion apparently means two separate sandwiches. Spacious and clean restaurant. We walked in and were told to seat ourselves. The waitress came over promptly to get drink orders. We ordered a house salad, a pasta dish, and a small pizza. The salad was good for 2. The pasta was good. The pizza was really good with a hand tossed crust and generous toppings. This place has been from "we stop taking delivery orders at 8:30" to "we stop taking delivery orders at 8" ... and now when I get home from working all day and call BEFORE 8pm some arrogant kid has the nerve to tell me "it's eight...I'm the general manager, and I'm telling you it's 8".
