We didn't really know anything about the place just needed some food while checking out Paris, TN. Very surprised by the Chicago theme but they also know Chicago style foods. The Chicago Dog was so tasty and the Italian Beef was delicious. Lots of great Chicago memorabilia hanging around as well. read more

The tater kegs were good. My husband got 2 Chicago dogs. He said they were good. I got Italian beef nachos. To say they were nasty, would be an understatement. The chips were over fried and the Italian beef was dry, crumbly and tasteless. Our waitress came to the table when were done. Asked if we were ready for our check. A good waitress would have seen I didn't eat my nachos and ask why. Nothing from her. We ordered a pizza to go...she brought it in a paper bag. I have never had pizza to go in anything but a box. My husband picked it up and of course the cardboard underneath folded. He asked if he could have a box and she quickly brought one back. We ate the pizza for dinner, at home, and it was very good. All though the pizza was good, we probably won't go back. Too many other good pizza places with better service. read more

I stopped in on my way home from Paris, and I wasn't completely disappointed here. For the amount we paid for 2 pizzas, we were surely compensated in pizza size! There was plenty to take home :) The pizza had a perfectly crunchy thin crust bottom, and lots of fresh veggies on top. I love mushrooms, so I was pleased at how yummy they were! So why only 3 stars for my meal? The one thing I don't like, is a greasy pizza. The grease was sitting so thick on top, I felt the need to pat it down with a paper towel before taking my first bite. I love a cheesy pizza, and I'm a fan of pepperoni's, so I know the top can get a little greasy, but this one was a bit too much. As for the decor of the restaurant, I love it! We had dinner today and honestly think the Ace's restaurant was cool and the food was good.The place is like every other sports bar/ pizzeria. Nothing fancy, just sport memorabilia everywhere, a separate bar area and of course, three or four LED TV'S for sport watchers. The thin crust Bacon Ranch pizza was good, not extraordinary.The cheese sticks were delicious, better than the pizza. Our server was very attentive and professional. The only problem was when I told her we were ready to leave. Instead of bringing the check , she grabbed my card and went to the kitchen or somewhere else and came back with the receipt, with a total charge around $10 over than expected. I complained about it showing the prices that I saw online and the owner or manager told me that the website I was checking wasn't theirs, and there the prices were not updated. I was tempted to keep arguing because I wasn't happy at all, but I decided to leave it that way. Two things I just have to say to everyone who is reading me. First, if you want to pay way overpriced for a pizza, go to Ace's. Second, never trust menu websites, or you could be surprised in a very bad way. read more

We are originally from Chicago and Ace's is truly the closest to a Chicago style pizza you will find in this area. If you go for the deep dish or stuffed pizza you're not going to find any other pizza that can claim Chicago style. Service has always been good, just remember these pizzas take longer to cook, so don't be in a rush when you go in to order. You can call ahead to get things going if you have little ones that might not want to wait. Ambiance at Ace's is always friendly and welcoming. While visiting family down in Paris, we got hunger pains and decided that we simply could not wait the time it would take to cook something. We are well aware of Ace's existence, we just didn't know their menu and prices for carry-out pizza. Looking to the good ol' Internet to find their website was a lost cause because they don't have their own web domain. Really? It's the 21st century and it does not cost as much as you think. Get with the times. Also, a Facebook page does not count because not everyone uses Facebook, especially the elderly clientele. As for the quality of the pizza, I can only account the four star rating to the simple addition of one ingredient: Romano cheese. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You have no idea of how great it makes the pizza taste. Honestly, being from Chicago, we have high standards for pizza. I'm passing through for work and the manger at Quality Inn recommended Ace's. Got to say the food and service was awesome. Everyone was so hospitable and welcoming. The owner, Wayne, set me up at the bar and checked on me at the end of my meal. They chatted me up and were so polite. The food was delicious, especially the pizza. Horrible. I will not be going back here. The pizza is okay, I actually use to eat here a lot more. The food and service has both gone south. Recently, A Friend and I had ordered a pizza and had been waiting in the parking lot. While waiting for the extremely long wait time of 30 minuets. The owner drove behind our car blocking us in questioning us of why we we're there, Our names and if we knew any employees. My friend and myself both felt threatened and harassed and honestly we could not believe what actually happened. We quickly called in and canceled our order and we will not be back. Stopped in here Friday evening, July 3rd after hearing people in Clarksville rave about the Chicago style pizza. Either we got the wrong place or these people have no idea what Chicago style is. I asked the waitress if they served it and she replied yes. The menu said nothing about it, and only thick crust was mentioned. When she came to take our order I specifically stated "Chicago Style" and told her size and toppings. We waited about 20-30 minutes before being served a thin crust pizza cut into squares that looked and tasted like cardboard. My husband was tired and hungry so we just ate it. I took my wife and son to try this place out. We met a couple of our friends there. It was great. The waitresses were very nice. They done a fine job. The food was amazing. It was well worth the trip. The pizza seemed to have fresh ingredients cut up and put on before cooking, Not something out of a can, jar etc. the bread with cheese was our friends favorite. Between all of us we tried the Polish sausage, chili cheese fries, mini tacos, bread with cheese, Aces special with jalapeños and bacon added, chicken Parmesan, and the Chicago dog. The chicken parm came with one more salad, I mean a big bowl. Everything was exceptional. The reason for going was a tenant of mine is from Chicago and said that this place was spot on Chicago food. Now I have no way of knowing or comparing because I've never been to Chicago but I will say it was very good and if Chicago is anything like Aces they DO have good food. I wish I had snapped some pics to share but we were too busy digging in. Thank you, Aces for making our experience great. Definitely plan on going back hopefully sooner than later. Would have better review however ordered one of their signature items the "Chicago Style Hotdog" but found the hot dogs that were used for our order were not fresh and over cooked to toughness. Pizza menu was unclear and confusing as to pricing, when listed on menu Jumbo Pizza Speciality is listed as one price and no where do they disclose extra charges for each speciality topping so in the end Pizza is $12 more than listed or more depending on specialty pizza ordered and not the best product for the price of over $30.00. If you are looking for quality and price this is not your venue which is sad because they used to be much better. One star rating is generous now. read more

Basic food at this eatery in Paris. Pizza is passable. Good lasagna and other pasta dishes. No longer have a ribeye. Service not so good tonight. We waited for more than an hour for our food. Had dinner Thursday, April 14th, 2016. Had read the various reviews for Ace's with mixed feelings. I'm happy to say the experience could not have been better. Had pizza. It was great! The sauce is excellent. We didn't have to wait but for about a half hour for fresh custom made pizza. Our server, Brittany, was attentive but did not hover around our table. Last night, New Year's Eve, my husband picked up a phone order for an Italian beef sandwich, plus potato skins. Takeout. He paid, came home. Said the staffer indicated they were swamped with early orders. But once home we find the potato skins were almost inedible, overheated, shriveled. He won't complain, but I will. Someone in the kitchen boxed those up and let us take home lousy food. Otherwise, food there has always been above standard. Awesome pizza! I don't like traditional pizzas, but this thin crust pizza with a zesty sauce is awesome! The toppings have great flavor and you know that you're eating a mushroom, pepperoni, chunk of sausage, etc. The gravy bread is yummy! It is toasted white bread soaked in their delicious au jus from the Italian beef sandwich. The Italian beef sandwich is amazing, too! A ton of beef with a delicious au jus. Yum! read more

I walked over to Ace's from my hotel and ordered a to-go pizza. The staff was very welcoming and asked if I was a veteran. I told them that I'm a former Marine and they discounted my food.
