Robert Furer of Elbe Real Estate is someone you need to steer clear from…read more Me and my husband were interested in a studio under his listing and that's our first mistake: 1. I confirmed with him an hour before our showing he said he'll reconfirm with my husband instead of just saying okay or just accepting it. Why do you need to reconfirm half our before, especially after even speaking with you that morning. 2. Said it'll be him showing it to us, 5 on the dot. After we got there all the sudden the super or "management" is suddenly filling in. We waited over 30 minutes after "he's on his way" "let me see where he is I'll call him again" the guy was inside the building the whole time unknowing to our waiting for him. So much for "he's on his way" 3. Two broker fees is illegal. The super even agreed. "It's for my partner" the ONE broker fee is split if it's between two agents, and then he tried to bargain that we should meet him in the middle. The studio was so run down, broken shelves, paint peeling off the ceiling, the smell of cat piss.... come on. We're newly weds looking for our home ( we ended up finding someone who actually helped us in the end at a better brokerage!) this was a shit hole that we actually considered because we would've gave it love and spruced it up. I hope this all makes sense. Oh and getting him to answer the phone at first.. don't hold your breath.

Recently my family moved from Hoboken and we sold our home that we also purchased back in 2008…read morethrough Matt Brown of the Hudson Realty Group. Matt Brown is someone we are familiar with and respect as his knowledge of Hoboken and Hudson County is deep. His network and reach of quality clients is a part of what makes him so successful, but we also truly appreciated how helpful he was with all of the little details, like staging our home correctly by providing props, plants and flowers and a professional photographer. Most importantly Matt understands the market and gave us advice on what to do and very importantly what not to do, particularly when it came to negotiations and entertaining multiple offers. We sold our home in 5 days for cash with competing offers that pushed our home well above the asking price. It was enough to cover our broker fee and take care of our out of state moving costs. If you are looking for an intelligent, honest broker who will represent your home well, look no further than for Matt Brown at HRG.

We highly recommend Peter Cossio of HRG if you're considering selling your house in Hoboken. The…read moreprocess of putting your home on the market is always stressful, but with Peter we felt confident about the plan, the marketing and the successful sale. Our 150 yr old row house, previously converted to a 4 family, with driveway, garage and rear carriage house required a strategic analysis and creative marketing plan. Peter's deep understanding of Hoboken real estate and big picture market trends were invaluable in bringing the property to market and then contract within weeks. Peter was professional, straight forward and transparent about his process as he guided and advised us on every detail along the way. He counseled us on how to prep the property and was a great resource in helping us find just the right people to work with. Peter's passion for architecture and knowledge of historic homes is infectious and a great asset in showing and selling buildings of historic importance, of which there are many in Hoboken. We highly recommend him. Ada + Jon

My Wife and I LOVED dealing with Chris and the rest of the team at Coccia Real Estate Group! They…read morereally took the time to listen to our massive list of requests and wouldn't stop until we found the home of our dreams. We are first time home buyers and didn't know what to expect, or what the different steps were. They "held our hands" through each step of the process and took us to see every house we found - and every house they found. As a younger couple we scoured the internet using zillow and other apps to find EVERY house that was in our area / price range. That didn't intimidate Coccia at all. One thing that was remarkable was the caliber of houses they selected. Yes the internet shows every one, but it was nice because they filtered through the mess to select the best candidates. It's no surprise we ended up selecting a house that was off their list. I was so happy with their service and professionalism I told them to keep the sign out front even longer and continue to tell my family and friends about the experience. We love our new home and when we're ready to move on - without a doubt - I will be calling them. This isn't the type of real estate group where you are treated as a number. I felt like everyone knew our names and said hello. Thanks again to everyone at Coccia. WE LOVE OUR NEW HOME!!

Lee came highly recommended to me from many people that I work with in the NYPD as well as many friends of mine in the FDNY. They all said that if you want your place sold for the best price .... "you better call Lee !" And boy were they right. It was an absolute pleasure to have Lee Wasserman representing me. From beginning to end Lee was an absolute professional. His vast knowledge and experience of Brooklyn real estate is incomparable to other brokers that I considered using for my sale. I knew immediately after meeting Lee that he was the right person for the job. He really has his finger on the pulse of the market. There was no question or concern too big or small for him. I plan on using him in all my future real estate endeavors. Thank you Lee and thank you Bergen Basin!!!

Wish there could be a 0 star. Guys please think before calling them up. I am telling you. It's better if you search for rental yourself and sell homes by yourself. The agents are the worst with money grabbing attitude and selfish attitude. After more than a year of searching for an apartment, I was almost ready to give up, and decided to…read moregive it one more try and contacted United National Realty. Gene was the one to respond to my request and we started working together. The first difference that I noticed was that he actually listened to what I wanted/needed and told me that he will not waste my time showing all the apartments for sale in NYC :) I appreciated that very much, so after discussing the criteria for my search we started the viewing. All the appointments that Gene made with me were around my schedule (which I appreciated very much) and he was always on time! (lateness was a problem that I faced with other brokers, but not United National Realty). True to his word, Gene showed me apartments that matched my criteria and even if they didn't, he would try to explain how it could be fixed/changed in order to qualify... The company was always ready to answer any of my questions and even if my broker was not available, someone was available to assist me. From the moment that I stepped into my dream apartment to the moment when I finally received the keys, United National Realty was with me every step of the way. They went above and beyond their duties to make sure that the process is going smoothly and if not, they did everything in their power to push it forward. Having a very busy work/life schedule, I appreciated the help very much. As a young adult, I mostly use electronic forms of communication and it was not only convenient, but also very reliable because I knew that my emails/texts would be answered in a timely manner. I find this to be a problem with most brokers and was very fortunate to find a Realty company that is up-to-date with technology as the current generation is. Overall, my experience with United National Realty was great, from beginning to the very end! I was very fortunate to have Gene help me in my search... Try them! you will never look at brokers the same way again :)
