One might call it the poor man's lakehouse. The majority of the campground area is surrounded by trees so the sites are more dirt and rocks than grassy (bring an air mattress!). It's also along a creek so your site may not be too far from a lovely rolling stream -- a great spot to set up for the day with your beach chairs and a ice cold brew. I highly recommend a walk up the gorge. Bring water shoes or sandals with straps because you do end up in the water and your sneakers would end up soaked for the whole stay. The falls are beautiful and a great spot to cool off in the water. There's a rope that's been tied up to a few trees so you can scale the gorge up to the top of the falls. You can have day visitors - cost is $5 per vehicle. The sites overall are a little bit pricier compared to State Park sites (nearly double the price) likely because it's a private campground. There's a store at the entrance of the site where you can grab necessary amenities like papertowels, lighter fluid, garbage bags, etc. I probably won't be back for my own personal camping expeditions, but will join our crew again since this is where they've been going for years.

Now as an adult I can appreciate it even more! There are plenty of trails to explore by foot or bike. If that's not your speed, you can rent the paddle boats or a canoe to go around Rabbit Island, go fishing, or go for a dip in the lake. It's a nice quiet campground and coming from the city, you can really see the stars out there! If tent camping or RV camping isn't your thing, you can go glamping and rent one of their cabins. They're perfect to enjoy with some family or friends (I've done both on a few occasions). Bonus- you get your own shower, toilet and a fully functional kitchen! But you'll have to book them early as they can go fast! My family has long ties with the Bull family and they are truly amazing people! Definitely book a weekend (or a season) with Camp Arrowhead!

We had a lovely time; the location was ideal for a family vacation; we had a deluxe cabin that was extremely beautiful, very clean, and had all of the facilities you'd need for a wonderful weekend. The cabin was incredibly gorgeous and spacious enough for (5) of us; the only tiny flaw I saw was the mattress in the master bedroom, which was really hard and you could feel all of the springs - it wasn't an old mattress, but extremely solid with no give. There were no additional difficulties, and the setting was excellent. We went fishing at their pond with the kids, who thoroughly enjoyed it. This location has spots for tents, campers, cabins, and even memberships; all of the members were friendly, and everyone waved hello. The property management was really helpful and friendly; they would cater to your every need. We also rented an offroad golf cart and had a great time with it; what a unique rental feature. I was really pleased with our stay; I would definitely stay there again and would suggest it to others based on our experience.

We came in late but someone from the office was happy to drive us to our spot and we set up camp just in the nick of time. We enjoyed the clean grounds and awesome atmosphere. I thought they said there were cooking grates on the fire rings. Be forewarned there are not! You can purchase one in the store but I was mildly annoyed as I had one at home I could have brought but didn't due to the website boast. So I had to buy another. While here we enjoyed campfire blueberry pancakes, hotdogs, roasted corn, and an amazing s'mores bar partly supplied by our haul from the family candy bar bingo event where we scored Reese's, KitKats, snickers, and Hershey bars! The pool was well kept and do not let the inflatable water slides fool you... those things are WICKED!! Got my adrenaline going and everything. I was really pleased with all of the activities offered and their employees who were so much fun and full It's reallyof all kinds of patience with all these kids! It's like going to summer camp with all they do! Well seriously long story short... we WILL be back!!

All we had to bring was food, ice, dinnerware, clothing and toiletries. They also supply a trash bin. Bathroom is very close walk and dish washing station and outdoor shower is also close. The other tent is a nice distance away so its very private. The water falls are so close you hear them all night which was great to sleep. I highly recommend this site. The staff was absolutely lovely every time we interacted. I almost think I might never bother going anywhere else. The downsides: one outdoor chair was broken but we had brought our own. I wish there was a broom in the tent. The bathroom light works by solar and doesn't seem to last long so you need to bring a flashlight. It's a walking campground, which is great but the tent sites are quite a hike away from the pool and store and it's uphill so that can be challenging for some. I will definitely go here again, it was a lovely trip. Well done! They also left a folder in the tent with emergency numbers and local places which was a nice touch.

The donuts were homemade Amish donuts, they were delicious! The pool is indoors so that was nice for Memorial Day weekend when the weather was cold and rainy. Not a lot of places for the kids to play sports or run around being on a hill. They did manage to play some wiffle ball in a small space with a bunch of campground kids. The campground has four docks across the street from the campground that can be used for fishing. Probably will not be back, the steep hill is the deciding factor. A golf cart is almost a necessity for this campground.

The campground has lake access and a few docks. Boat launch is a short distance down the road. There is an indoor pool, water is heated. There are two playgrounds, a few swings and a rec hall. There are events like root beer floats, pancake breakfasts, bingo, well stocked camp store, cabins for rent, overflow parking and a beautiful view. The cons - sites are small, old playground equipment, overgrown walking trail, no ball field or open space for play, not maintained seasonal sites, a few rude seasonal campers and the hill. Steep inclines make this a campground hard to climb and difficult if you don't have full mobility or wearing your trainers. Your vehicle, golf cart or e-bike/scooter is needed to move around the campground easily. Which also means no one is abiding by the speed limit. Small campsites with children running around and the majority of people needing a vehicle of some sort to get up and down the hill is not a great combo. Overall - it is a nice campground with everything that a camper would expect to have and is worth visiting. We probably will not return due to the hill, small sites and our camper grounding out exiting.

All because a friend of ours was having a batchlorette party in the pavilion that she rented and Kira didn't want us there because she has some sort of weird vendetta against me. So when I had had enough and told her to bring it on we get banned from the campsite. This is bull crap when my aunt has had a permanent site there and we go there all the time for The last 10 years. I think it is horrible business when they let there 19 year old manager get drunk and then harass guests. I would not recommend this place to anyone after how they treated us when we weren't hurting anyone just trying to have a nice girls weekend.

Travelled 3400 miles to go to the great Curveball festival at WGI this weekend. Mother Nature had…read moreother plans for us. All of the water in the sky from the week before must have pooled and dripped from above, contaminating nearby water supplies. That being said, many of the 40,000 who were slated to attend the festival had to figure out how to spend the night(s)... Simple, we said, we have a band of our best friends and should just camp out around here. After some searching around, a friend found Skybrook. They promised that they'd be able to accommodate us and were sympathetic with our situation. Now, it would be putting it lightly to say that we have a sizable crew - we had at about 8 RVs and 10 cars... over 40 of us! We were all in this together so said, let's go! Well, we had been waiting in a parking lot to head to the festival and decided on Skybrook. We got there after dark, around 8 or 9 and the office was still open. They put us in a nice open field where we could all camp together. The locals were very nice and would come by to chat and make sure our stay was enjoyable. People who come here more frequently were riding around on the roads on golf carts. We were wondering if we could rent some golf carts, have a runaway golf cart marathon maybe, but couldn't figure it out - oh well! On Friday night, we were graced by a set from DJ Steve who dropped sick beats in the Rec Hall! Many of the locals were there and we came to this camp town to help them party down! All in all, Skybrook came through for us! The facilities were in good shape, the people were very nice and the campgrounds were quiet and clean. If I had to travel 3400 miles for a cancelled music festival, I would stay here again. Was it for this my life I sought? Maybe so, maybe not.

In all our travels this has got to be one of the cleanest, spacious, most well kept places we've stayed at. Unlike some places that have a large maintenance and grounds crew they seem to accomplish everything with just a few hard workers. The owners have a serious work ethic and take pride in their place here. Items in the campground store are very reasonably priced. The owners were explaining some of their plans for the future and their visions for the future and I cannot wait to come back. If you are thinking of visiting western New York you should consider staying here. Less than an hour to Niagara Falls, lots of cool little towns to check out and very scenic drives.

It's in a camp site resort and it's next to a pond, the servers usually give us food to feed the ducks on he big patio they have. The indoor seating has a big bar, and lots of space, they have bands here sometimes. There's pool and darts to keep busy while you wait. The food is good. Nothing super special but it's good eats. They have specials for different days of the week and the part we love is the playground across the parking lot. It's fenced in and perfect for the kids, a couple picnic tables for Mom and Dad to rest our bellies while the kids burn off their energy. It's a good family place.
