All we had to bring was food, ice, dinnerware, clothing and toiletries. They also supply a trash bin. Bathroom is very close walk and dish washing station and outdoor shower is also close. The other tent is a nice distance away so its very private. The water falls are so close you hear them all night which was great to sleep. I highly recommend this site. The staff was absolutely lovely every time we interacted. I almost think I might never bother going anywhere else. The downsides: one outdoor chair was broken but we had brought our own. I wish there was a broom in the tent. The bathroom light works by solar and doesn't seem to last long so you need to bring a flashlight. It's a walking campground, which is great but the tent sites are quite a hike away from the pool and store and it's uphill so that can be challenging for some. I will definitely go here again, it was a lovely trip. Well done! They also left a folder in the tent with emergency numbers and local places which was a nice touch.

They have a very large camp store that was just getting stocked up for the season. They also put on events like free popcorn bar. They also had donuts and coffee for free one Saturday morning. The donuts were homemade Amish donuts, they were delicious! The pool is indoors so that was nice for Memorial Day weekend when the weather was cold and rainy. Not a lot of places for the kids to play sports or run around being on a hill. They did manage to play some wiffle ball in a small space with a bunch of campground kids. The campground has four docks across the street from the campground that can be used for fishing. Probably will not be back, the steep hill is the deciding factor. A golf cart is almost a necessity for this campground.

The campground has lake access and a few docks. Boat launch is a short distance down the road. There is an indoor pool, water is heated. There are two playgrounds, a few swings and a rec hall. There are events like root beer floats, pancake breakfasts, bingo, well stocked camp store, cabins for rent, overflow parking and a beautiful view. The cons - sites are small, old playground equipment, overgrown walking trail, no ball field or open space for play, not maintained seasonal sites, a few rude seasonal campers and the hill. Steep inclines make this a campground hard to climb and difficult if you don't have full mobility or wearing your trainers. Your vehicle, golf cart or e-bike/scooter is needed to move around the campground easily. Which also means no one is abiding by the speed limit. Small campsites with children running around and the majority of people needing a vehicle of some sort to get up and down the hill is not a great combo. Overall - it is a nice campground with everything that a camper would expect to have and is worth visiting. We probably will not return due to the hill, small sites and our camper grounding out exiting.

Luxury Cabin Review!…read more We stayed 2 nights in cabin 23A, June 13-15. We were taking a road trip (from Indiana) and during our research came across Letchworth State Park. We really wanted to spend some time hiking there so we set out to find a place to stay. We searched for AirBnB's and hotels, but couldn't really find what we were looking for, then came across Woodstream. We have active boys and this was prefect for our family. The cabin was even better than the website pictures. It had 2 AC units and they cooled very quickly. Our boys loved the bunkbeds with privacy curtain and built in nooks, lights and outlets. They even had their own windows! That was such a fun space for them. We did do some limited cooking and it was equipped with everything we needed. We stopped for s'more supplies on the way there and realized we didn't pack our sticks. We were pleasantly supplies that the cabin had them! There was storage for our luggage and bags under the beds as well as cubby space. The fire ring was so cute and we all loved lounging in the adorondak chairs around the fire. My boys loved playing in the creek. We were too busy at Letchworth and our own site to try out the golf course and pool, but when we checked in there were many people enjoying both. We would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!

Not bad, not spectacular. The folks who do come here adore it and many have standing spots…read moreyearround with built out sections like porches or add-ons extending off their trailers. One might call it the poor man's lakehouse. The majority of the campground area is surrounded by trees so the sites are more dirt and rocks than grassy (bring an air mattress!). It's also along a creek so your site may not be too far from a lovely rolling stream -- a great spot to set up for the day with your beach chairs and a ice cold brew. I highly recommend a walk up the gorge. Bring water shoes or sandals with straps because you do end up in the water and your sneakers would end up soaked for the whole stay. The falls are beautiful and a great spot to cool off in the water. There's a rope that's been tied up to a few trees so you can scale the gorge up to the top of the falls. You can have day visitors - cost is $5 per vehicle. The sites overall are a little bit pricier compared to State Park sites (nearly double the price) likely because it's a private campground. There's a store at the entrance of the site where you can grab necessary amenities like papertowels, lighter fluid, garbage bags, etc. I probably won't be back for my own personal camping expeditions, but will join our crew again since this is where they've been going for years.

Bottom line... IT WAS AWESOME. Elaboration time... We got one of the newer, fully equipped cabins, which came with A/C, running water and flaunted a private full bathroom. The cabin sleeps 6 (we put more people in there but, shhhh!), and was more than accommodating for say, hypothetically speaking, 6 adults and 6 kids with some blow up mattress support (the cabin limit set by the campground is 6). The cabin rate was $200 a day. The cabins have a private room with one queen bed (I think... I sleep on a king bed normally because I'm an American), a loft room with a double (Again, American, and I really have no idea, as I typically have enough room in my giant bed at home to lounge, eat a smorgasbord, practice calligraphy and also sleep), and a set of bunk beds in the common area. The one bad mark I'll award --and this is a mighty stretch-- is that the playground area, which wasn't great to begin with, was conveniently closed due to COVID, but was in shambles anyways. The playground should be upgraded ASAP. We had a lovely time; the location was ideal for a family vacation; we had a deluxe cabin that was extremely beautiful, very clean, and had all of the facilities you'd need for a wonderful weekend. The cabin was incredibly gorgeous and spacious enough for (5) of us; the only tiny flaw I saw was the mattress in the master bedroom, which was really hard and you could feel all of the springs - it wasn't an old mattress, but extremely solid with no give. There were no additional difficulties, and the setting was excellent. We went fishing at their pond with the kids, who thoroughly enjoyed it. This location has spots for tents, campers, cabins, and even memberships; all of the members were friendly, and everyone waved hello. The property management was really helpful and friendly; they would cater to your every need. We also rented an offroad golf cart and had a great time with it; what a unique rental feature. I was really pleased with our stay; I would definitely stay there again and would suggest it to others based on our experience.

You can purchase one in the store but I was mildly annoyed as I had one at home I could have brought but didn't due to the website boast. So I had to buy another. While here we enjoyed campfire blueberry pancakes, hotdogs, roasted corn, and an amazing s'mores bar partly supplied by our haul from the family candy bar bingo event where we scored Reese's, KitKats, snickers, and Hershey bars! The pool was well kept and do not let the inflatable water slides fool you... those things are WICKED!! Got my adrenaline going and everything. I was really pleased with all of the activities offered and their employees who were so much fun and full It's reallyof all kinds of patience with all these kids! It's like going to summer camp with all they do! Well seriously long story short... we WILL be back!!
