This RV park is actually a filthy mobile home park with huge amounts of trash in nearly every occupied space. We toured this park in January 2026. Unfortunately we can't give even one star to this RV park. It's so run down, in MAJOR disrepair, and has at least 25-30 sites of people living in old (25-40 years old) RVs with so much junk littering everywhere. Everywhere we looked, was gross and we wouldn't feel safe having our RV here. Don't be fooled. Their website doesn't give a hint about how BAD this place is. I wish we had taken pictures. We don't understand the positive reviews posted in the last few years as you can tell this place has been like this for a long time. So gross. Too bad as the park is easy to get to, located on the Sacramento River, and perfect for people who like to fish. If you need to stay somewhere in your RV in this area, go to the Rolling Hills Casino RV Park. It's clean, not much shade, some of the RV sites are very uneven, has security patrol, and doesn't allow full-timers to live there. read more

Right on the river, the views are wonderful. We kayaked up the river and just around the bend it forks, into two so we were able to choose the larger wider side of the river or a smaller slower side. Seen tons of fish! Got turned around in a lily field! There's also a lot of beach area for hanging out, we were able to drive all the way to the waters edge and that was nice. Not very crowded either so we were able to play music without bothering anyone. The rent at the RV park is fair and the owners do not disappoint, they are very nice! My children love that there is a playground & a sandy little shore by the Sacramento River right next door. Friendly neighborhood. We all pretty much keep to ourselves, even when we see neighbors in passing people are so sweet & such good people. We are gonna miss it. The manager Jenny was a very wonderful woman she was so good to us she made both myself & husband cry happy tears from her incredible kindness, that woman is a saint & a real humanitarian & very good with people so be good to her. I wish them the best of blessings with this beautiful RV Park!! Thank you for these past few weeks of such a life change in believing in actual people that care I had a wonderful stay!! Ps. DO NOT GO HERE!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! Our first time here was about 15 years ago, we went 3 times more after that and it was a little better than so-so. We finally went back this weekend (05-16-2021) after not going for 5 or 6 years. This place is a DUMP!!!!! It is so disgusting!!! Trash everywhere, broken RV's and cars and trucks, broken motorcycles and boats!!! Piles of garbage all over the place, ramshackle crap all over the place!! It resembles a wrecking yard and a county landfill - not an RV park! We were going to check in but decided to leave! Un-effing believable! Gross, disgusting!! How do people live like this? This is 100% a mobile home park. There are about 100 cites for full-time living campers, and roughly 10 for short-term. There's no separation between the long-term livers and campers, so you hear people leaving for work in the mornings, coming home late at night. Which is all perfectly understandable as this is where they live. But for someone who is coming to relax and enjoy some peace, that makes it hard to do so. When my husband I arrived at the office, I helped him back up so he could turn a corner, and the woman in the office started BANGING on the window. I couldn't see her, there was a glare on the window. I wasn't about to go in and ask her why, as she honestly scared me. She never came out to explain as to why she was banging. I give this place a 2 because the location is gorgeous. Not so much the buildings or mobile homes that are not taken care of, but because the place is right on the river with beautiful picnic areas and fishing dock (could also use some updating). Unfortunately we will not be returning until somethings are changed. read more

Our Camping group had a Wonderful Time camping at Woodson Bridge this week. The new owner was very helpful and caring. The club house was very nice, they had a free breakfast for everyone for Father's Day. Looking forward to going there again next year. The spots on the river are so nice and relaxing. read more

In the past this was a great place to camp near Corning. Unfortunately since the Paradise Fire and the other fires that year it has turned into a Grapes of Wrath kind of place. FEMA came in and put a bunch of people up in the RV/Campground and they never left. I would say that about 85 to 90% of the campsites are now filled with permanent residences. A very limited part of the park still looks like the pi tours on there website. I have posted additional pictures of the current state of the park. It is so sad as this was a lovely place to camp and relax next to the river. We will not be going back. read more

I started a job building a customer home in paradise ca. Every r.v.park was full up. Woodson bridge is about an hour from paradise,but all I could find.i moved in the beginning of march.the manager gave me 3 open spots.all on the river. All were 340.per week. I had no power the first week. The rest rooms have no water pressure, shower suck.no flow toilets so they always have a present in them to get rid of before your dump. Of course the place smells bad. Any bathroom with 6 full toilets and molding showers will stick. After 3 weeks I move off river to a cheaper spot. I was now living next to a guy with some kind of rage disorder.everyday he would yell and cussing at either he self or some imaginary something. Then in May on one of his rages he has a rifle pointed at my friend, she is calling for me to do something. When I see this I'm under my truck trying to stay calm.i call out and get between her and the gun.i grab the barrel and through it to the ground. This guy is head butting me spitting in my face.he goes to but me again and I take he momentum and grab he neck from behind.he a bull and I'm thinking, shit! This ant going to end well.so, I'm out boxing this assho_e but he won't quit coming. He on one just like most everyone at that place.he finally runs off and is threatening to jump from the top of woodson bridge. Then because the cops came a couple weeks later management hands me an unlawfull detainer. It's pretty dated for the first of may.ive got 16 hours to pack up and leave. Then the first, the next day the power pole 3" from my trailer spontaneously combusted into flames. My dog alerts me I smell smoke see the fire grab extinguisher as my nabor is about to hose the electrical fire.i put it out. It won't go out, it keeps reignighting. 4 or 5 times. The breaker is off, tried. My 30 amp is unplugged. But it keeps relegating. The manager is right there blaming me for starting the fire. Long story short is the managers boyfriend jumps me the night before the court date. I show up all bloody and the judge say ok Pam of Durango r.v. you have satisfied your burdon of proof, and walks out. My head is still ringing and I'm confused. But I lost. I do not recommend the woodson bridge or the Durango r.v.park in tehama county, corning ca. read more

I'll start off by saying that - as you can see from my previous review - we used to really like this place, and didn't really understand some of the other negative reviews about lack of amenities and rudeness. However, unfortunately that changed during our last stay. While at the swimming area, some people across the river were yelling at and harassing several groups of people on our side of the river continually for quite a while. I reported this to the camp ground management, and their response was that they couldn't do anything since the other people weren't actually in the camp ground, but that we should call the police ourselves if we were concerned. SERIOUSLY? If your neighbors are being noisy, are you going to hesitate to call in a noise complaint just because they're not actually on your property? As I was walking away, they were laughing hysterically, although whether it was about that or something else I'm not sure. At any rate, the attitude seemed to be: Silly customer - we can't be bothered with concerns about your saftey. Really disheartening and disturbing. To make matters worse, three of the four toilets in the women's restroom became clogged and unusable and remained that way for the duration of our stay - no one cleaned or even checked the restrooms every day?! Absolutely disgusting. Not sure if we'll be back. read more

Great little spot to hang out! My folks stay over there and whenever I visit, I always have a good time. Neighbors are super friendly and have good stories, restrooms are clean and easily accessible 24 hours a day. The park/campgroud is never overly crowded and kid friendly. The "General Store" is great, however, most of their inventory is strictly for fishermen. There is a fantastic little mini mart just across the bridge that has almost everything you would need. read more

Most generous RV Park on the river. Currently hosting 170+ CampFire evacuees. Free of charge. Donating their large Club Room to a local church who is organizing hot meals 3xs a day. Their beautiful grass picnic area has become a clothing/bedding store of those in need during this emergency. Not enough thanks can be said. The only time I have been there camping, prior to this, they we're kind, clean and knowledgeable of the area fishing. They have good contacts with fishing guides as far as Sacramento as well. Private boat dock, huge lake like area on the river for tubing, etc. clean restrooms, showers and lots of great friendly people in the park. The owners of this park do not know what they are doing they never have from the beginning, they fired the best manager they ever had for telling telling the truth. There so-called on site maintenance man doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground says he's an electrician, but everything he tries to fix catches on fire or blows up. They have surveillance cameras all over the park so who knows where they're really at and what they're really watching, it's also lit up at night like a prison. They thought they could sell propane there but did not know what they were doing after they got it halfway set up and had to get rid of it. They thought they would get a tiny home and sell it but they didn't know what they were doing there either and had to tear it down. The mobile home they installed in the back never had an inspection and is not even set the code. So it's no wonder they have to raise their rent to pay for their mistakes, the ones that are giving this place good reviews they're just weekenders they have no idea what's really going on in this park. If code enforcement would ever come through this park they would shut it down, their electricity through the park is all screwed up you can't even run your AC in the summer without burning up your electrical are theres because they don't know what they're doing. This place used to be nice but it has gone downhill I am glad I don't live there anymore. The manager they fired got rid of all the child molesters that were in that Park, and the drug dealers, and now that she's gone they're all back read more

I love staying here. Nothing fancy. Great hookups for my motor home. Lady at office was Great! Enjoyed seeing all the fishermen and boats. Heard some fish tales too. Beautiful river spot. Very disappointed . We stayed here a few years ago and loved it. We had reservations and were planning to arrive at 7:00. I called around 5:00 and the phone was busy for an hour and then I finally left a message. We get there and the office was closed. That's fair but no instructions were left except where to leave the money. It was very full, almost entirely with people living full time. Trailer trashy. We found 2 spots that we barely fit in. There was a table cloth and some old chairs but a passer by said the spot was available. It was on the river and beautiful. That's what we remembered from last time. It was just a stop on the way to somewhere else. Went to pay in the morning at 9:10 and the office was still closed. Don't count on service at this place!! read more

This place is a dump. We stopped here on accident while meaning to go to the STATE CAMPGROUND ACROSS THE STREET! There are people who LIVE in this dump and who have been here for YEARS! The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting and stink of rotten poop and urine. The camping spots are very small and the ones on the water have a slope that its easy to slip off your bed if you're in a tent. The only thing nice about this dump is the breeze from the Sacramento River!!!! DONT GO HERE, GO ACROSS THE STREET TO THE STATE PARK CAMPGROUND!!!!!! This place canceled my reservation 10 days before coming. I booked 2 months ago. 4 RV 's some of us rented rv's. A fishing group was booked, they probably had more then they originally booked so the manager just cancelled us. On the bright side found a much cleaner friendlier place. read more

Management can be very rude and opinionated. Stayed here during the winter and constantly got stuck in the mud with my truck at my spot. Went 2 months with no drinking water, they never offered any bottled water and had to buy my own. The electricity was ridiculously super high. My electric normally per month for 1 person in a 29 ft trailer is @$20 and at this place was over $70-80. Others complained there as well about the electric being higher than other RV parks in the area. Oak trees fell. 7 total. I saw the oak trees crashing into RVs and trailers. Found out they have no insurance on their trees. You are on your own at this place. Very neglected. read more

We stopped here last night without reservation. The lady was just closing the store. She opened back up and did the paperwork. We didn't need hookups, so $26 and free shower was a bargain. We camped next to the river and watched the sunset from the dock. It is a little rustic, but clean and worth the price. We stayed here for 3 day as a tent campers, we paid for the electricity for extra $5 per site. The plug are 30 amps and we need an adapter. I went to the office to see if they have a loaner adapter and she said they don't supply that but they sell the adapter for $15 each. We went to the nearest store 6 miles and bought adapter for $6. Other camp ground have a loaners as everybody don't have 30 amps. Location was great, site have water view and good fishing area for boaters but the camp ground have permanent resident as they have full size refrigerator and other stuff outside their trailer. They have 2 restroom one ladies room stall was clogged the other restroom were just renovated and clean. It was quite as majority of the campers and resident were older people. Did not see security patrolling the site but one day Sheriff was patrolling. Also no signal for wifi. read more

The new owner/management are ALL ABOUT THE MONEY! The first thing that he said was after taking over was "We are her to make money." And it shows. Locks on all the bathrooms so if you get here after hours(and can figure out the "night slip"), you can't use the restrooms. The laundry room is old and out dated with no change machines or laundry soap dispensers. And due to a gas leak in a dryer your clothes will stink afterward. They will no longer will be accommodating to clubs or fishermen, despite being within view of boat launch and having a dock. So no more bait or tackle. If you fall on hard times and cant make rent they won't accept partial payment, so too bad, get out. They used to have a night worker/security guy but not anymore so if you have any problems/questions or need help, too bad, figure it out. The "drinking water" that you would hook up to is being pumped from the closest water table (on one of the pumps) so is only considered "drinkable" thanks to massive amounts of chlorine. So it dries out your skin, bleaches your hair, and is very hard on any plumbing due to the corrosive nature of chlorine. So buy a inline filter to save your RV, or better yet, go elsewhere. The internet is a joke and only works in certain locations, like at the office. The maintenance has really gone downhill. Nobody waters the grass or plants along the driveway and it shows. The guard shack looks like its about to fall apart. The bathrooms are both super old and need rebuilding/renovation, along with the laundry room. Some of the tenants are just flat out crazy or tweakers. One spends nearly all night long just yelling and screaming about nonsense. Another would be up till 11 pm hammering and sawing stuff. The new manager is just rude and has NO people skills. They also have had a few burglary instances (office and house in back).It used to be a safe and nice RV park, but now its just another crappy trailer park. It's kinda sad knowing what it was and what its becoming. All thanks to the allmighty dollar. P.S. I'm the old maintenance/security/bathroom & laundry room cleaner and worked here for almost 8 years. Self-employed private contractor. But was getting screwed by old owners by not being a employee. Worked a 12 HR day on 4th of July with no overtime/time and a half and was fired when the son in law insulted me in front of the whole park before the firework show I did every year. He told the owners i threatened him despite them being right next to him when he insulted me and they not saying anything to him about it. It wasn't a threat, just told him to never call me that again. And he went and ran to the in-laws. A 50+ yr old adult. Id say male but I can't. Wasn't the first time it got me fired either. Good thing tho. This place doesn't deserve someone who puts in so much time for so little back. Especially now with the new owners/management. Greener pastures await. The knowledge I gained during my time here is the only good I take from here. Besides myself, of course. read more

You pretty much can't do anything here. Only for elders since we can't be too loud 'cause we got neighbors who we're pretty much away from their tents the whole day fishing and swimming. We couldn't have more than 5 tents even though we reserved 3 spots. It's because we were Asians not white. We saw the way they treated other campers who were allowed to have more than 5 tents. And there were kids skateboarding on the road which was okay than playing water balloon. This place sucks. They gave us a bucket to wash our dishes wtf we're not stupid. read more

I was a tenant for merely 3months at this shit hole, prepaid for 2months upfront in Nov n didn't put my travel trailer on my river view site till a week later (the office never adjusted the fee). It was my 1st time staying in a trailer n I had no clue how to hook up n took A WEEK for someone to help me after I repeatedly asked the office for help! I loved my spot (away from center of the park where it's crowded w/trashy residents) n the view, I was never a bother nor created any mess. When the storms came in Jan n the river rose the park owners forced me to move 2weeks into the month (after I paid in full n on time) to spot smack in the middle of the trashy park looking out to other trailers n mobile home littered w/garbage! I the office staff when I would be able to move my trailer back to my river spot that I had paid for (there's a price difference between river view n non-river view spots) n they kept giving me the runaround n being rude! I came home from work 1 evening to a row of 10 trailers n RVs in river view spots n approached the park owner to get an explanation about why people were on the river n we hadn't been moved back yet, her response was by yelling at me, cussing out n putting her finger in my face!! A few days later I received an eviction notice w/no reason stated n they never would adjust my payment amount! I moved out n the park owners refused to give me my deposit back stating I moved out w/out notice (although they were evicting me)!!! Completely unprofessional! I'm appalled by the rude behavior n thievery!! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!! read more

This park has really gotten run down. It isn't even triple A rated anymore. Things are broken or in disrepair. Their WiFi is a joke. You can only get it on the office porch which is full of smokers (staff and "regulars") and a table full of dirty ashtrays. Half the time we were there is wasn't even working. The office has a ministore but a lot of the food goods and drinks are out dated (and stale). The mobilehome park is pretty seedy and dumpy and there are some questionable people walking around. We spent 2 nights here. We had an awesome view of the Sacramento River (sp #9). Check in was a breeze. The bathrooms and showers are in an older building but were very clean. The space was level and hookups worked well. Lots of families and fisherman here. We enjoyed our stay. I'd give them higher marks but they advertise a WiFi hotspot but we never could get on to check out emails. read more

Yes, infrastructure needs a little work. Instead the owners choose to give back to the community within the park and outside the nearby cities. Their generosity is beyond reproach. They did not tear up paradise to put in a parking lot. If you are into internet and spend hours playing games and staying indoors, this is not the park for you. But they do offer a wonderful deck overlooking the Sacrament river as a back drop to stay on the net for as long as you wish. As far as store hours go. There is a convenience store within walking distance from the park, that stays open till 9pm. Because they wish to maintain the integrity of the river banks. They never have or will allow access from the camp sites. There is wonderful access from the beautiful county park next door. Also a free boat ramp. The appeal of Woodson bridge rv park for me is the wonderful outdoor, fresh air feel. The safeness I feel walking my dogs at any hour of the day or night. Lastly, I am so glad the owners aren't into it for the money, otherwise I could not afford to live here.. read more

We spent 4 days camping and can't find one thing to complain about. The staff went overbored to make us feel welcome. The weekend was full of vintage camper trailers with a Sat. open house. How curtious these trailerites were to all the lookie lue visiters. The weekend set record high temps. One young staff member stood outside the clubhouse spraying cool water on the Ac to help with the inside temp. He moved tables outside for the rest of us. The mangment opened up 20 more sites to help accomadate the wants of this group. They said this was the fullest the park had ever been and yes it was busy but very organized and quite and peaseful even with all those folks awalkin around. The beautiful river runs next to this camp and the large trees shade most of the sites, thank goodness. I signed up for that same weekend next year so I can see the rest of those so so kool vintage trailers I missed seeing this year. I hope 80 show up again next year??
