I finally found a dentist in Anchorage I like!…read more Look on Yelp for Dentist reviews and you'll find a weird situation. Lots of polarization, lots of flagged reviews, it's the wild-wild west out there. I main reasons I decided to check out midtown: - Close to my job (can walk from work) - Accepted by my insurance Another, dumb, reason: it's a pretty cool, modern-looking building. I came here after I experienced hard-selling and fear-mongering tactics at another Dentist. I wanted to get a second opinion. Boy, am I glad I did. Staff here are friendly and professional. Appointments are timely. The lobby is beautiful. You can choose your own music or watch Netflix while you get drilled/scrapped/polished. I had Dr. Adam Jensen for my dentist, he was great. He had a data-driven yet practical approach. I wish I knew he was a peak bagger (just found it out by creeping the website), we'll have so much more to talk about next time!

I've been here twice. I've been seeing a dentist twice per year since as long as I can remember and…read morethis is the only place I've ever been that would not provide a cleaning on the same day I was provided a comprehensive oral exam. I went specifically for a cleaning but was told I had to come back. By this point, I had already invested my time and effort and I went back for the following reasons: - I liked Dr. Tudor - The office was clean, inviting and full of modern equipment. I've now been here for two cleanings and have been attended to by the same hygienist, who is very thorough. You know you got a good cleaning when you leave with some pain (good pain)! Except on my last visit, she nearly chipped my tooth by pulling out the reflection mirror too quickly (bad pain). I'll be back, mainly because I don't feel like searching for yet another new dentist and also because I do feel like they are honest. I inquired about both whitening and Invisalign and they advised I did not need either.

Deborah Wrigley DDS. Was one of the best experiences I've had with a dentist. Staff was super…read morefriendly and I was in and out. She was very personable and made me feel comfortable. They also have some state of the art technology. Overall great experience and defidently found my new dentist.

This review is for Dr. Wrigley as well as the hygenist I saw (can't remember her name)…read more The people themselves are certainly pleasant & professional. This is not a review about their personalities. My issue was only idenitfied by another dentist that has since completely solved a painful & frightening experience. I had been having some jaw pain that continued to increase over a few weeks. Along with that symptom, I had a metallic taste in my mouth. I assumed this was a leaking filling as they were quite old. I was examined twice by Dr. Wrigley (twice because the pain increased & continued), with no identification of an issue with my filing. She referred me to a PT for a "lump" in my jaw (I didn't not go) & to an ENT Dr. to "rule out anything serious." At that point (with a lump & her concern), I thought I might have jaw cancer... seriously. The ENT charged me $200 for about 10 minutes to tell me I might be dehydrated (I won't even go into that!). I then went to another dentist who quickly diagnosed me with clenching my jaw & a broken & leaking filling. This was discovered by x-rays & pictures & fixed within a week with a crown & a night guard. It has been 4 months & I have NO pain & NO metallic taste. Dr. Wrigley never took x-rays & disregarded my idea that it might be my filling. She actually said... "With those symptoms, I don't know what it could be." I then learned with my new hygenist, that it appeared my teeth had not been cleaned in almost a year. I had had them cleaned 2 months prior to this. I had more recession & pocketing of my gums than ever before. I have now been attempting to correct that problem. Very frustrating! I would not advise going to Soltice Dentistry as I believe their standard of care is below par. Not something I'm willing to gamble with.

Their not lying. I was greeted by a very friendly staff, as well as care providers. None of which where bad on the eyes either. Anyways, Dr. Cha was quick, easy, no anxiety, and painless. All opposite of my past interactions with other dentists. My dental insurance hadn't kicked in yet, so it was out of pocket but even so, it was very reasonably priced! The building was extremely clean and nicely decorated, it didn't feel like a Dentists office but a very nice lounge almost. Best way I can think to describe it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone, and this is coming from a guy with a phobia of Dentists!

They are convenient and fast, the front office area looks nice, but that is about where everything…read morewithin the building and the work being done is difficult to be charitable towards for my experience. I had a chipped tooth that needed fixing. After getting me in pretty quick, they proposed a $9,000 work plan for the tooth and other things. I said I couldn't afford that, and their office guy just told me to put what I couldn't afford on my card. Which would have been over 7500. I said I didn't have that kind of money, and they asked me what I could afford. I said I could pay a few hundred today, so they proposed another plan that magically just included fixing the tooth that was within my budget. So why start with over $9,000 worth of work outside fixing my tooth? Then came the work. Everything past the front desk is extremely antiquated, in disrepair and appears shabby and in unclean condition. None of the are private, they're all open and you can hear everyone crying in pain in each room, it's very unsettling. The tools looked ancient and not completely clean, I should have left then but I had already agreed to their egregious payment plan through Cherry (which is borderline predatory in their own practice), so i felt obligated to stay and get the work done. The dentist was kind of nice at first, but very quickly lost patience once i described i had laryngospasm, which they didn't know what that was. He was not understanding when I needed to take breaks because my jaw and mouth were getting so tired from work. Then, he started shaving down the tooth next to my chipped tooth while I was numbed, and said, "Since we have a little money left over from covering this tooth, ill just shave this one down too." Why are you working on this tooth? After capping the broken tooth I could feel sensitivity in the tooth next to it, and I could tell they knew about it and did this on purpose. They knowingly caused more damage to another tooth so I would come back. They're also quite pushy at times when it is not necessary, and in my experience, did not care if you were hurting or uncomfortable; just gotta get through this work as quick as possible.
