I came to see Dr. Laurin due to a painful & frightening experience. I had been having some jaw pain…read morethat continued to increase over a few weeks. Along with that symptom, I had a metallic taste in my mouth. I assumed this was a leaking filling as they were quite old. I was examined twice by my previous dentist (feel free to see my other review), with no identification of an issue with my filing. She referred me to a PT for a "lump" in my jaw (I didn't not go) & to an ENT Dr. to "rule out anything serious." At that point (with a lump & her concern), I thought I might have jaw cancer... seriously. The ENT charged me $200 for about 10 minutes to tell me I might be dehydrated (I won't even go into that!). Then I saw Dr. Laurin who quickly diagnosed me with clenching my jaw & a broken & leaking filling. This was discovered by x-rays & pictures & fixed within a week with a crown & a night guard. It has been 4 months & I have NO pain & NO metallic taste. I then learned with my new hygenist, Tess, that it appeared my teeth had not been cleaned in quite a while. I had had them cleaned 2 months prior to this. I had more recession & pocketing of my gums than ever before. I have now been attempting to correct that problem. Very frustrating! Dr. Laurin obviously knows what he is doing. His staff is quick, professional, & very team oriented. Tess is a FABULOUS hygenist! She makes things quick & pain free. She uses magnified eyewear to see the smallest details. She also uses a ultrasonic (or something like that) tool that blasts the plaque away. It takes the place of the scraping tool (though she uses that too to be extra thorough). Now I will recommend to everyone I know, to see Dr. Laurin & Tess as their hygenist.

I honestly didn't know dental office take deposit for appointments, like is this a lash or nail appointment which that requires a deposit? And I saw a review where someone didn't get their deposit back. Honestly every time I come here I never felt the staff being friendly when checking in and out.

I had my wisdom teeth removed here and the healing was quicker than I expected. I've also seen a few different providers and everyone has been kind and informative. They're good about explaining things--I've picked up better flossing habits over time. Cleanings are straightforward, fluoride is quick, and the view during appointments is a nice bonus. This office has been a really reliable place for dental care which is why I've stayed with them for so long.

I recently had a molar extraction that I was very nervous about. I received Nitrous gas and a local anesthetic. The dental assistants did a great job of keeping me informed and prioritizing my comfort. I was even given a blanket. Mint Dental seems to run like an assembly line, when it comes to seeing or speaking with your dentist. Thankfully, the dental assistants are always able to take their time with you. Dr. McNeil was kind, and quick with the extraction. I was surprised and thankful it was over so fast. I will definitely return to Mint Dental for future dental treatments.
