Ashton was excellent to work with. He replied to a facebook post of mine looking for help with an…read moreepoxy floor job. Throughout the bidding process he was thorough, efficient and communicative. Those themes continued during the work itself -- in which Ashton kept us informed about the status of the work, the steps he was taking, what was coming next and how it all fit into the general scope of the job. We finished the job on time and in budget and with no surprises. Ashton even came by after the job to check out something unrelated to his workmanship, and offered to help fix what ended up being a non issue. I would definitely recommend Ashton and Little Bear Construction for epoxy floors and for any other future potential general contracting / building projects. Also worth noting -- Ashton is a local South Hills resident and good human.

He redesigned,…read moreremodeled and updated our kitchen and master bedroom and bath; repaired, finished and brought to code shoddy work all over the house started and done by a previous contractor; rebuilt front walkway; painted and stained; landscaped; updated electrical outlets and lighting fixtures; built us some exquisite raised vegetable beds along our deck; and, without blinking an eye, showed up to our rescue when a fluke storm knocked out and fried the main electrical line to our home. Lew's work is impeccable. He is patient, curious, honest, and tenacious about understanding and delivering what his customer's want and need. And, the people with whom he surrounds himself are diligent, kind and extremely talented. We are deeply grateful for all that he has done for us.

Walters Home Remodeling was subbed out to build a carport over a camper. They finished the job…read moreNovember 2023 (as pictured by his company trailer at the site) by February 2024 the carport was leaning on the camper. It was found that posts were only dug at most 14 inches deep, while some were as shallow as 9 inches. There was also no bracing installed to prevent tipping even though advised to do so. During 2024 they were also hired to build an addition. After multiple no shows and being paid 80% of contract he removed his tools and stopped the job. After 8 months of redoing poorly done, unfinished work as well as repairing multiple water damaged things from them tearing the roof off the home and leaving for a trip to Florida a few days later, the job is still not complete, and has cost around $100k to fix so far. Multiple attempts have been made since February 2024 for them to fix and all have gone ignored. 1 year later and now being ignored to get reimbursed. Next step is a six figure lawsuit. I would highly recommend not getting involved with this company.

They will rip you off and not do any work. And then when you take em to small claims they won't pay. Cuz someone is broke and not paying their insurance premiums. I don't know how the truth I spoke on here got taken down but I bet it's because it hit too close to home. Again, use ANY other company unless you want to be swindled out of a crap load of money!!! Well the crew from LVL has had our house for two and a half months - it was a transformation from the basement to the roof. It is beautiful. The attention to detail, the quality of the work- it is unbeatable. They put in a new French drain system and properly sealed the entire basement, creating additional living space for our teen girls. They replaced all the uneven floors and made the entire home not only much more functional- but breathtakingly gorgeous. The problem is then the left the house unfinished, never completing it. Six months later- their electrical work caused a house fire. Repeated attempts to rectify the issues failed until the owner of LaVillaLux just stopped talking to us altogether. Not the best way to do business. Really sad at the outcome.
