Everyone at our table liked their food. They had the Reuben, whitehouse burger, old fashioned burger, onion rings, enchiladas, I had the nachos which was huge. I enjoyed the nachos. They weren't bad at all. We didn't get any desert but the server/host said the blackberry cobbler was really good. I will try it next time. I like the old school decor and photos from the 50's and 60's when Camden was a bussling town. I would go back just because they were so nice. Be patient.

I was just hoping for a few more shrimp. They were decent size but only come with 4 shrimp. My son devoured his hamburger steak, he said he wished the onions were grilled longer. This small restaurant in this small town should get more recognition than it probably does. First…read moreof all the place is cute and cozy. Secondly we had to wait a few to be seated on a Friday evening. That's a good sign. We were sat within 5-10 mins. Our server (Brie) I believe was amazing. We asked her for suggestions. She was not shy and suggested the pork chops and Fish. Boy was she right! I got the catfish. I am not a huge catfish fan unless it is done right and CLEAN. Theirs is exactly that! Well seasoned and amazing! The hush puppies were hand made not frozen and were the best from a restaurant that I have had. I also. Had the baked potato, potato salad. Again easily the best I have ever had. Back to the battered and fried pork chops, unless you are able to eat enough for a family of 4 or the 1/2 portion. They were simply seasoned in a way that any chef should be proud of!! We took 3/4 home and airfares them the next day. He had the green beans with the chops and Lordy they could potentially make you slap your momma. Here's the thing. We eat out a lot and I do write a lot of reviews but this hands down was one the top 5 experiences in the last 3-4 years. This meal with drinks was only $38 before a nice cash tip on the table. I will be back again and again! I hope more people find this special place so close to Lake DeGray
