Had a ribeye steak that was very good. Waitress was friendly and downstairs had a good vibe.

We made reservations this time we went & were greeted by flowers. The feel of this restaurant is always cool. They have an amazing Bloody Mary and my personal favorite drink is the blood orange martini. Appetizer wise, we tried the salmon dip and the Mushroom Risotto balls - AMAZING!!! They were SO good! For dinner, I had the blackened chicken breast & my boyfriend had the filet. All of it was amazing. One of our favorite places to go!! read more

Postmasters Grill - Petite filet minon - American Near Me - Camden, Arkansas

Well we had a great evening with some good friends. This place is a very cool historical old post office that has been turned in to a restaurant. We had smoked salmon dip for an appetizer that was delish!! I ordered a petite filet with bbq shrimp. The husband ordered smoked ribeye steak with asparagus and cheddar grits. Everything was so good. Our servers were absolutely wonderful. For dessert I got white chocolate bread pudding that was so yummy. Definitely should give this place a try if you are in Camden AR. It's a great find! There was some wild wall art like the naked Superman. Hmmm. read more

Food was delicious and service was fantastic. Loved the old post office vibe and the art was beautiful.

I enjoyed my visit to the postmaster grill. They have tons of options. The service was good and polite. I ordered the risoto and the spinach salad. Both were really good. They have a molasses vinaigrette you just have to try. Love the post office restaurant theme. read more

I live in Camden myself and I go here fairly often, the food is good but the service takes forever. I love how it is the renovated old post office though. read more

Food was delicious. Highly recommend the French dip sandwhich and cheesecake. The service was great and fast lived the old post office vibes. read more

The ambiance is really nice, especially in the basement. The food is very good also. The only down side was that there was a lot of water on the floor in the basement due to the excessive rain outside. It appeared that they had a leak somewhere. read more

We both ordered the petite filet mignon with golden roasted potatoes and sides of asparagus and wasabi coleslaw. Had the mushroom risotto balls appetizer and two garden salads. I must say the steak was the BEST we've had in quite awhile. We ordered our steaks medium rare and that is exactly what we got to perfection. The steak cut like butter also. Keep up the good job. The waitress was really attentive and sweet. read more

Love the food and the bread pudding is to die for!! Sadly I was there for my 60th birthday and was sooo disappointed with the wait times! It took 40 minutes to get an appetizer of loaded potato chips, another 10-15 minutes for the entree (mine was missing my blackened chicken because the waitress thought I just wanted the sides‍), my husband split his chicken with me while they cooked me one which arrived after another 40 minutes! Our usual dessert of bread pudding which we share was delicious, as usual and arrived and was devoured before my chicken got there. After asking my circle of friends, I hear they have had staffing problems a couple months or more. I can't wait to go back when things are working properly! read more

This used to be a great place but quality and service is miserable now. Several repeat visits has delivered cold food across our table, steaks that are dry and overcooked. I mentioned this but was still willing to eat because I wanted to be genuine and not come across as complaining needlessly. Normally someone would try to be apologetic or something but this was met with like it was my fault that we had six people ordering a spread of steaks and chicken. The problem was, the "special" was ordered for two of our six and the rest ate steaks. This was the third time across two months this happened. And I'm sorry but it's not an easy recommend. Visited Camden AR for business. Was told this was the best place in town with a unique feel. First we came the Cajun pasta was great beers were cold and service was great. Came back another night, waited an hour and half for our food, food came out cold and service was sub par. Management came over to address but didn't do anything to assist. Not the best of nights. Probably too busy. read more

Great atmosphere, feels like you're somewhere special when you dine in. Can also get to go. Either way the food is great. I've been a fan of the pasta for years. Outside dining is gorgeous in the evenings and good bar selection read more

Love coming to this place. Food is very good. But the last couple of times I was here the service has been very slow. Tonight was really bad. read more

Empty but probably the best restaurant in Camden. Downtown in an old US Post office the food was edible. I had the fried duck appetizer and the cajun pasta. The pasta was over sauced. The bread pudding for desert was divine. Decent service from the waiter, but the restaurant didn't start getting customers till 7pm. Expensive for Camden, but again -- probably the best place to eat in Camden. read more

I have eaten here in the past and it was excellent. I have eaten here 3 times since and it was absolutely horrible and over priced. I can go to McDonald's or taco and get food that's horrible without having to pay so much for horrible food. The women waitresses are super nice and they do a great job. The bartender is spot on. The food on the other hand needs some work. One more thing there is a young guy that's waiting tables and I can promise you don't want him to take your order because he doesn't know his butt from a hole in the ground! read more

Great for a night out in the town! Nice environment. The menu items are reasonable! They treat you with curiosity. Leave some reviews to let them know what you're eating read more

Duck tenders and white chocolate bread pudding: my life is complete! Seriously, order both, and maybe an entree in between.

This place is a pretty solid choice in Camden. I had the salmon and one of the porters from a brewery in Little Rock. The salmon was cooked well and the portions were huge! Also the ambience was great, we sat close to the bar. The server was on top of it. I'd definitely dine here again. read more

I've been here a few times and it has always been fantastic. I always get the steak and it's mouthwatering. This time though, it wasn't as tasteful as it usually is. Also, the crawfish étouffée tasted very bland but spicy. We got the Portobello mushroom soup and the duck tenders for an appetizer. Delicious Service was fantastic! read more

I visit Camden often and was craving a burger and fries. I didn't want a good fast food so decided on Postmasters. I ordered to go and when I went to pick up my food, it was already ready for me. After getting back to the hotel, I opened my box and dug into the fries right away. They weren't too bad - thought they'd be more loaded with cheese (originally from WI) cause I love my cheese! Overall food wasn't bad and pick up time was as told. read more

The building was neat! and we got to go downstairs to eat which was cool. When we sat down, we were greeted immediately. Our server was super sweet. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip & a burger! I wasn't really impressed with the food, if i come back i will order something else for sure. My boyfriend and I got the bread pudding to go.. it was amazing, do NOT pass up on the bread pudding here for sure! I would seriously come here just for the bread pudding. My second time coming here: I can never check in here or anything on yelp because I have zero service :( The service is amazing , seriously the best We got the duck tenders as an app, they were really tender but the meat and the batter they fry it in is absolutely flavorless! Next we got the French dip sandwich. The quality of the meat was great, I didn't get any fatty pieces and the meat was perfectly sliced. Not too think and not too thick. But....... No flavor. I feel like I'm repeating myself... The loaded fries were the best thing I have had. The blue cheese is a little much because the fries are already so salty and so is the bacon. Plus I feel like the melted cheese, bacon, and fresh chives all have bold flavor. So if I was to pick a cheese to crumble on top, I would pick one that's less subtle. Again, we got the bread pudding and I wish I would've just had that and just that all along, it was amazing. But I can't justify driving 37 minutes for bread pudding read more

Have been here in travel a couple of times. Food and staff are great! Recommend the shrimp and grits. Awesome bar area downstairs.

I have been coming to this place for at least three years and it has never been disappointing. This is not only the best place to eat in Camden, it is the best place to eat Steak and Shrimp west of the Mississippi. I challenge anyone to find a meal on the menu that is not enjoyable. I challenge anyone not to find a smiling and warm welcome. This is the place. read more

Well, what can I say. I love calamari and decided to give it a try. I can't believe that this place has the absolute best that I've ever had in the world! In Camden, Arkansas! Then moved to the french dip sandwich which was great but the hand cut fries! Unbelievable! read more

Been wanting to try this place since they opened & finally got here for my birthday. Husband made reservations for the dining room (thinking that would be more appropriate for a celebration dinner). The room was glaringly bright. Wooden tables were not adorned with table clothes, candles, or any table decoration. Silverware though nice was wrapped in a paper napkin. The food was good- especially the calamari appetizer & the filet mignon. Side potatoes were unremarkable. We did not receive house vegetables as the menu stated, nor was any bread served. They were out of the day's special desert so we ordered creme brûlée; it was ice cold (as if just removed from refrigerator) which took away from the dish's appeal. Cocktails were average. Service was attentive. My biggest disappointment was total lack of atmosphere. The place has so much potential. The bar area sounded lively- could hear TV's & people laughing but we were looking for a romantic dining spot. Our bill for 2 with tip was $150 read more

Service was great. Quick to get in (table of 2), on a Friday night. Jambalaya was dry and little spicy. The other creamy shrimp pasta was good. Large portions. We'd definitely return. read more

This place is amazing. The curb appeal and the architecture of the building is absolutely beautiful. The name is suiting since this was Camden's original post office. They have saved a piece of history and turned it into something beautiful. Downstairs you have a bar, upstairs(main floor) you have casual dining. We had fried pickles as an appetizer (enough for four), husband had the blackened chicken and I had the filet and veggies. The entrees come with these amazing potatoes on the side. I don't know how they do it, but they are small wedges of perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft & amazing inside. I could make a meal of just the potatoes. My steak was perfect. Wonderful dining experience for us. read more

Being a small town, there's only a few places to go for dinner and Postmasters is #1!! The ambience is amazing, the staff is incredible especially Rachel and Lauren and there's an amazing menu. Postmasters Bar and Grill is the best restaurant in Camden. The building used to be the US Post Office back in the 1900s and is now made into a very cute restaurant. This restaurant deserves five stars Plus and it's good to see that Camden has something new and as good as postmasters Grill. read more

This place was absolutely amazing! We just moved here and since we have been on the road for a few days, we were looking for something besides fast food. Postmasters had the best reviews, and it certainly did not disappoint. The meats were perfectly seasoned and grilled, vegetables cooked to perfection. We even had a chocolate lava cake that had bacon cooked in it! So delicious! We enjoyed the atmosphere. Even though this seems more a bar than restaurant, the servers were still happy to accommodate our toddler. Attentive service and fantastic food make this one of the better restaurants we've ever been! We just loved it and will happily be returning as often as we can! read more
