Secondly we had to wait a few to be seated on a Friday evening. That's a good sign. We were sat within 5-10 mins. Our server (Brie) I believe was amazing. We asked her for suggestions. She was not shy and suggested the pork chops and Fish. Boy was she right! I got the catfish. I am not a huge catfish fan unless it is done right and CLEAN. Theirs is exactly that! Well seasoned and amazing! The hush puppies were hand made not frozen and were the best from a restaurant that I have had. I also. Had the baked potato, potato salad. Again easily the best I have ever had. Back to the battered and fried pork chops, unless you are able to eat enough for a family of 4 or the 1/2 portion. They were simply seasoned in a way that any chef should be proud of!! We took 3/4 home and airfares them the next day. He had the green beans with the chops and Lordy they could potentially make you slap your momma. Here's the thing. We eat out a lot and I do write a lot of reviews but this hands down was one the top 5 experiences in the last 3-4 years. This meal with drinks was only $38 before a nice cash tip on the table. I will be back again and again! I hope more people find this special place so close to Lake DeGray

We had a fantastic visit to O'Keefe's Fish Net in Caddo Valley! The portions are very generous, and…read moreeverything from the service to the food to the overall value was excellent. My wife ordered the steak and shrimp with a salad, while I went for the fried oysters, gumbo, and what I believe they call "the experience" (a great combo!). We also ordered an appetizer, which came out almost immediately along with our sides and drinks -- super impressive timing. The shrimp on a skewer with Cajun seasoning was a real treat. The steak, shrimp, gumbo, and baked potato were all outstanding. My only minor note is that the fried oysters didn't have much oyster flavor or texture for me -- they were mostly crispy fried breading -- but I'm not going to knock them because everything else was so good. I'm sure they're prepared exactly as intended, and it's just not my preferred style. From start to finish, the service was great, the food was delicious, and the cost was very fair for the quality and portions. This is an easy 5-star spot! Highly recommended!

Everyone ate all their food. French fries and fried foods were crispy and cooked just right. The grilled chicken and shrimp were cooked perfectly and the rice was delicious. The only thing I would have done differently was to have had the salad tossed with the dressing ahead of serving- the dressing was very tasty but the lettuce and veggies needed to mesh together better and I think this would have helped. Food is better than expected. Very casual atmosphere in a historic business in a very clean and comfortable Downtown. I would recommend!
