Update: Although their steaks are not good, most of the other food is. I recommend the Honey Dijon Garlic Chicken or the Blackened Tilapia. Their burgers and pulled pork sandwich are great, too. I have to eat gluten-free and dairy-free, but they're not great about making sure there is no cross-contamination in the food. The servers are very nice and try hard, though. They're often short-handed, and sometimes they play their jukebox way too loud. Otherwise, it's a fine place to eat. read more

Hadn't been here in several months. The food was quite good except my sweet potato was cold. They gave another, which was too hot to eat right away. My blackened chicken breast was outstanding! Tender and moist. My wife had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, said it was good, and took half of it home. Service wasn't quite as good as usual, I had to go look for our waiter once. The server was super nice. The food wasn't great... we had the chicken fried chicken and chicken tenders. The frying was fine but there wasn't much chicken inside. The southwestern corn is a big miss. The corn was drowning in a spicy sauce... not good at all. The sweet potato fries were soggy. The baked potato was okay; it had plenty of butter and sour cream. Went today and the service was not satisfactory. There was only one waitress available and, assuming how long it took for our food to arrive, there was only one cook. My group and I went in around 11:20 AM and did not receive our food until around 12:15-12:20 PM. I ordered the 4 chicken strips basket and they somehow managed to mess that up. I and two others ordered chicken strips and they were mostly batter, the chicken was not cooked properly. Two others ordered quesadillas, they did not like them. In all I would not recommend this place as I have had poor performance from them in the past and it seems to not be getting better. read more

Best pork chops ever! Grilled or fried. The cheese dip is thick and tasty. And the Southwest corn is my favorite veggie.

This is a fairly new restaurant in town, and it is now one of my favorites. My favorite thing to order is the Blue Bull chicken breast. The cream sauce on the chicken is wonderful, and they repeatedly cook the grilled chicken perfectly. Some places cook it to death and it's dry- never happens at this restaurant. (Ive ordered the regular chicken breast blackened several times, too.) My husband loved the burger and the fries are good, too. I've enjoyed their sides like green beans, baked sweet potato, and broccoli. The dinner menu includes rolls with cinnamon butter! Steak is also good. read more

I had the Blackened Tilapia with baked sweet potato and side salad, off the lunch menu. The Tilapia was outstanding, the sweet potato was a bit overdone but tasty with butter and cinnamon. My wife ordered one of the lunch specials, Chicken fried Steak but, did not eat it due to not feeling well. It looked quite good tough. The decor was relaxed with music videos playing on the tvs. Volume was low enough to easily hold a conversation. We're planning to return. read more

This restaurant was a great place to go when the previous owner had it. The food always came out quickly and was delicious! About 4 months ago it really started going down hill. Food is sometimes good and other times it's not good at all!!!! We continued to go there because we thought it would get better. We finally stopped going because the new owner is busier playing around in the kitchen than she is making sure customers are taken care of. Will not be going back ... at least until another owner comes along. read more

I was in the mood for a good steak, and I asked a local where to find one, and he said the you really can't find one in Magnolia. He apparently has never been here. The ribeye was great! My wife had the sirloin and it was also great. I ordered mine medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Nothing fancy about it, just very good steak. I would give this place 5 stars, but the atmosphere is a bit lacking. But, overall I was impressed as I had low expectations. I would definitely come again whenever I'm in Magnolia. read more

I've been here several times and have always had a great experience. Some dishes that I have thoroughly enjoyed included : Tilapia, Dijon chicken, mulerider fries, sirloin, chipotle ranch pulled pork quesadilla, and jumbo shrimp. We get the sweet potato fries and green beans as our sides almost every time because they are both fantastic. It's a nice quiet atmosphere and the staff is always very friendly and helpful! read more
