Dr. Woodruff is a caring and helpful doctor. He listens to us before diagnosing our illness ... Rare these days!

I've always received great care from Dr. Cranney, which makes this review especially difficult to…read morewrite. Unfortunately, I've found myself in a really tough situation. After suffering a heart attack, taking time off to recover, and relocating, I've been struggling financially and haven't been able to pay the monthly fee required to continue seeing Dr. Cranney. I've been trying to renew my long-standing prescriptions for high blood pressure and depression--medications that are essential for my well-being. Despite explaining my circumstances, the office refused to refill them. I understand policies and procedures, but this felt cold and irresponsible, especially given the critical nature of the medications. I followed their recommendation to contact the CHAS clinic, but the first available appointment isn't until the end of June. I was then transferred to the hospital's follow-up department, but they were unable to help. At this point, my only remaining option seems to be urgent care, just to access the medications I've been stable on for years. I'm deeply disappointed by how this was handled. I believe patients--especially those dealing with serious health issues--deserve more compassion and flexibility. I hope sharing my experience helps others understand what to expect.

He took great care of my husband; my husband and Dr. Cranney have similar senses of humor so they also genuinely liked each other. The office staff is always friendly, courteous and very helpful. When I needed insurance information and was out of town, I called their office to see if they had the details I needed. Initially, only a portion of the information was found; I received a call a few minutes later from their Office Manager who had gone back into my records and found what I needed. Talk about going above and beyond!

Absolutely horrible secretary. I've only had 3 dealing with her EVER and each time has been awful…read more She is rude and condescending. I think her working with people is a mistake. I will be finding a new doctor because I will not be talked down to or treated like a second class citizen by some old lady who "thinks" she "works" too hard. I put those in parentheses because the likelihood of her doing either one independently is absolutely laughable. She said, and I quote, "we are too small and too busy to make appointments on the phone." What? Who since the creation of wireless communication has gone into their doctors office to schedule an appointment? If u are too busy to do it right then, I can see offering to return a call once you're free. To say you're too busy is a cop out, and putting a person on hold for more than 5 minutes is completely disrespectful. If she, as a secretary at a tiny little doctors office is busy, does she not think someone with a real life is maybe busy as well? Hence why people CALL to make an appointment maybe? I cannot believe she would say, "yeah, maybe just call in later when you do have more time to be on hold." Really? I never have time to sit on hold. Especially not for extended periods of time! Making an appointment should only take 30 second for a existing patient. If there's one suggestion I have about this office it would be go somewhere with some bedside manner. If I had to hear any bad news from this lady is probably go postal due to her insensitive attitude towards people in general. I wish I could think of the right words to describe my distaste for this office but I think ur imagination will take you there.

The office and medical staff were just what I expected at my appointment but the help I received over the phone was above and beyond what I was expecting. The patient portal is a great tool. I'm very happy with this group and expect to stay with them for a happy future.

Updated Review : Ends up a few years down the road that my…read moreDr. was not approved through my Health Provider as a Primary Physician. My attempts to attain someone who CAN be my Primary Physician with full powers has been stymied twice since I started the process at end of last year. - The desk staff can be polite in person but never answer when I am transferred by telephone and can be surly on the phone. - An appointment with a different doctor to have two things completed was mostly unsatisfactory . . . she was late and was rude. - Was recently told that my chosen new Dr. was out on the day my scheduled appointment and to call in for an earlier alternate date. Scheduling was unable to make the appointment because the day was blocked and she tried to transfer me to Quail Run desk . . . no one would answer, two additional attempts over two days were never answered and a request for call back was ignored as well. I called back this morning and was unable to get my appointment as instructed, nor was my original appointment available. I now have an appointment for weeks after the original. I am extremely disappointed in the clinics Customer Care. It may force me to change Doctors and Health Care provider. They get two stars because of previous good experience and convenient location.
