The person that was sent to bid the work recommended that we shoot the squirrels with a pellet gun. Even recommended biodegradable pellets. When asked about stump removal, they recommended pouring RoundUp on them (we live on a lake and everything we pour on our yard will leech into the lake)...saying that it was just salt water. They then said "environmentalists won't be happy until we are all living in caves". I let Erin know about our experience after we had the work done by another service for a third of what Big Leaf quoted. She was very gracious with her apology and was sincerely sorry we had that experience. She did say he was only joking and that he's a big softy and a good ole boy. But, as I explained, although I was grateful for Erin's response, I don't buy that excuse. In the end, the representative showed no concern for the environment and lied about the impact of chemical use.

The crew did a good job of cleaning up and cutting what they could from the cherry picker. Believe they had 6 people cleaning, 1 in bucket, and one supervising. The issues I have is not only did they remove a tree, but it's now 11/29/18 and i have heard no mention of how they are going to fix my problem. Just said they will get back and no return calls. This was my home they impacted and devalued and they just went ghost. I will say that people need not worry too much because in 15 years I was the only person who had got his tree cut down on accident. (Such a great thing to hear after you destroy my property). They also informed me that he would get my stump ground for free. (What a deal!!!) The whole thing seemed like a joke to everyone there. I was angry and truly just wanted everyone off my property the moment the tree got cut. I was quoted 800 for both trees to be trimmed which is 400 a hour and i will end up paying more than that for the tree I will need to replace the one they cut down. Outside the guy who cut my tree the crew was good at clean up and the half hack job on the remaining tree was because he couldn't get to it due to bucket reach and honestly I wanted them out of my yard. I would recommend them for tree removal not trimming only because they trimmed one all the way to the grass..

The tree was about to fall over. I knew it was going to cost a lot to have it removed but I was more concerned about the pool and house being hit by a falling tree. Unbelievable how they used hoists to hold the tree up while they cut it down. They were at the end of their shift so after they laid the remainder of tree on the ground they came back the next day and cleaned it all up. The crew was highly personable and friendly. All GA boys. They really know their stuff, I would highly recommend them. I have several trees that will probably need removing and definitely call them to do the work.

He came out that same day, looked at the job, explained the work to my wife, and gave her a price. I personally called him to confirm exactly what work would be done and the total price. Changing a confirmed price from $400 to $600 just hours later, with no change to the work, left me with a very negative impression.
