On move-in day, I was even greeted with a box of local bagels, which was such a thoughtful touch (especially since I had forgotten to eat!). The community here has been warm and welcoming. My daughter and I have already made friends and connected with some great neighbors. The complex truly feels more like resort living than your typical apartment, which is such a bonus--who wouldn't want that? The pool is fantastic, and I love that there's a lifeguard on duty at all times. I also have to shout out the maintenance team--when I had a minor issue, it was handled quickly and efficiently. Kwame Chapman responded but absolutely refused to provide any indication about pricing. So I asked again about pricing and again she refused to disclose any pricing. This went on back and forth numerous times. So I finally asked for the phone number for the leasing office so I could get pricing and Kwame ceased responding all together. Kwame's email signature very unprofessionally does not include a phone number because she clearly does not want to bothered with phone calls. Any other apartment is transparent in their pricing and post pricing right on their website. Here at Modera, there is no pricing on their website and inquiring with Kwame Chapman yields no results. Hence apartment not rented! If Modera is this unhelpful in leasing an apartment to new tenants, I can't imagine how they treat existing tenants.

The estimated cost for the work was $1,200 for approximately 20 feet of gutters and downspouts. Though I asked them use better material and clips, their material were of cheap quality (thin flimsy aluminium sheets and generic clips as fasterns) After three years, I was forced to replace part of the downspouts because the material used as well as bad workmanship. Additionally, the clips or fasteners used to secure them were also weak and unstable. I am currently replacing the downspouts with a different company.

There work was careful, extraordinary, fast and beyond reasonably priced. They not only made us a great counter and backsplash they installed it with ease. The difficulty of our space is there isn't a flat or straight wall in our 1929 apartment. These guys cut a piece of stone perfectly for us. From initial conversation to measurements to two installs within one week (first counter then the backsplash) these guys were easy to deal with. Roger is great, his office staff quick to respond and clearly one of the best decisions of this whole process to use him! Good? Call him - NOW!

So we were pleasantly surprised when we visited this time. The showroom is gorgeous, and the staff immediately helped us. We were installing a 8" x 9 foot drink rail for a game room, so we were on a budget. They worked with us to find a remnant in the color we wanted. They helped us choose our options for edge and corners, and set up a time for on-site measurement. It was just before Christmas, so we chose to defer installation until after the holiday. When they measured, they were right on time, and used high tech laser equipment to measure and draw the space. They discussed the support requirements to me, and they were gone in less than a half hour. They returned with the granite about week later, and installed the slab professionally and neatly. We were very impressed throughout the process.

The very next day, the system stopped working completely, leaving our home with no heat. When we called their emergency line (609-490-4427), we were told this was "not an emergency," despite their advertised 24/7 emergency service guarantee. This is a clear violation of their own service policy. Having a brand-new furnace fail immediately--and being left without heat in winter with no emergency response--is extremely disappointing. We deeply regret choosing this company.

I had also used them during the heating system to diagnose a problem. it took 6 weeks and 3 visits. It only got fixed when I went to the prior owner. They were sending technicians who were unqualified. One technician did not know the difference between an electronic air cleaner and a humidifier . He also tried to sell me on replacing a saddle valve. $700 for a $20 part and 10 minutes of labor. I did it myself. I am not the only person in the town having these issues. I contacted a locally owned HVAC company. They were out within the week. They asked me who had done previous work on the outside AC compressor. A Weltman tech had left the electrical panel open and exposed to the elements.
