There a huge binder full of job opportunities and a highlight of city job openings. The library was pretty busy at 5pm with the study rooms full and almost every cubicle and desk filled. There was also a large printer (I believe it might be cash only) that the public can print from: It was a great sight to see this beautiful library being appreciated and used by the community. I came in to get a library card and the process was very quick! I also browsed their sections and the library has materials and dvds in several different languages. There were also English conversation courses/groups that meet up. What a great place for the community to gather! So many resources available!

I told the staff at the front counter. I went back to my computer and decided to check the bathroom an hour later. still poo on the floor. I didn't go back to that location for a while. 2nd time there I went to use the restroom upstairs thinking it was probably less used. the restroom was blocked off for "cleaning" so I waited. After the cleaning lady was finished and unblocked the door, she put her cleaning supplies in the custodial closet and went into the restroom to find POO all over the toilet seat. I'm not sure what she was doing in there but if I was cleaning a restroom you would not find $#!+ on the toilet.

Trails for all abilities, variety of trail surfaces and conditions and length and elevation. Bite off the proper amount for your skill level and if you try to chew too much, just flip it and return to your comfort zone. Trails and fire roads are all well maintained, used, loved, and appreciated. The value for the free it cost is immeasurable.

You really do feel the opulence as you drive through the mirador entrance up this long driveway to get to the library. Free parking but it does get packed since many people also park here to access the hiking trails next to the library. This is a beautiful library and many people do come here to study as I noticed most tables were filled. However, there is a loud buzzing sound from the lights but I guess it becomes background white noise if you are used to it. Portraits of Mr. and Mrs. Brand, their family and how the library was are on the library walls so you can learn more about how it all started. The art gallery this time around has an exhibit from Thinkspace, featuring artwork of over 70 artists, on now until March 29, 2025. I really enjoyed the art pieces and took photos of the ones that really impressed me. The grounds features Brand Park, the Japanese tea house (closes early like 3pm), Doctor's House, which is a historical house, and a couple of hiking trails. Overall, a cool place to check out and just 15 minutes away north from downtown Glendale if you need to grab a bite to eat.

This is a very small library, the smallest in Burbank. Very quiet inside. There was plenty of parking in a lot. They do have a dropbox for a book return. It's not the closest one to my house, but glad to know this is an option. Sylvia was a gem.

I can easily get holds from the library by making requests online and picking them up from this branch. There is a used bookstore inside the library as well which has a great selection of good quality books! There's always something new to find each week! There is parking out front, a parking lot next to the entrance, and a parking lot on the backside that lets you enter through the second story. Also, they offer great programs if you keep your eyes peeled! I also appreciate that this is an easy place to drop off voting ballots out front.

This is a cute library with a small parking lot attached. Staff is friendly. There's usually a cart of free books to take at the entrance. My usual local library (North Hollywood) was recently closed for maintenance so I had a few holds sent to this library for pick up. It's one of the worst parking lots I've experienced on my quest to visit all LAPL branches. Once inside, it's a pleasant experience. Like most branches, there's a great variety, plenty of spaces to work or read, and a staff that is truly willing to help you in any way. I just don't see myself visiting this branch based of parking. Maybe if I could walk here it would be different. But I wouldn't go outta my way to go to this branch over more local ones to me.

But I absolutely missed out on calling this my local branch. It is an absolutely stunning branch. It's small, but the architecture and windows are just so beautiful that you can't help but just walk around and take it all in. This branch feels more like a monument than a library. Or, maybe it's just a monument to books. Staff was so incredibly friendly. When I came in saying I was on a quest to get all of the 100th anniversary branch stamps, not only did the woman help me get my stamp, but she also provided me with a pamphlet on the library and the area, other information on local events, and a ton of coloring materials for my kids. All without having to ask for it! She was just that happy to help. The branch is next to a large park so it's a wonderful area to check out a book and then walk outside to find some shade and enjoy it right away. It's just perfect. Parking lot is tiny. Be prepared to just park on the street. Luckily there's plenty of street parking so you won't have to look for long.
