As a healthcare worker, I completely empathize with long wait times, and I was more than happy to circle back around when my medications were ready. However, I was told my medication would be ready in an hour, so I returned an hour later to wait in the drive thru line. After waiting in line for another hour, I was told that only one of my items were ready, and if I wanted to wait another hour the rest mighhht be ready. I left, but it would've been better if they had set up expectations from the beginning so that I didn't have to waste 2 hours waiting just to leave empty handed.

I noticed one door blocked off and a large sign that warned "MOST of the isles are closed off for cleaning." MOST not ALL. Grabbing a small hand basket I could see the sunscreen right in front of me. About to grab it the woman employee said firmly that ALL of the isles are closed. Okay. They why are the doors open for customers. Then the male employee made a snarky comment that "Too bad I didn't make a huge sign for people to see. Yes it was very ignorant of me to think that if they were open for business that I would be allowed to buy something. Both employees were very rude. Without saying a single word I then sat the basket back down and left. That is when the two employees behind the counter began laughing loudly and calling me stupid. Here's the thing, I rarely shop at Walgreens since it's so rachet. I mean the parking spot permanently reserved for the police is a dead giveaway that the store is shitty. Now my rarely shopping at Walgreens is now a never shops at Walgreens. There are many other stores to choose from. As far a sunscreen goes a co-worker said they would share theirs with me. So not only having a dirty nasty rachet store the employees are the last thing to finally run me off for good.

Unfortunately as I was pulling in the manager called the let me know my masseuse had called in sick and they could only rebook my massage to start 1.5 hours after the original time. I was disappointed, but I made the best of it and thankfully had a flexible schedule that day. I ended up ordering tea and lunch from the Tea Bar. Unfortunately the matcha was out of stock, but I opted for another green tea and the crab cake. It was raining the day I was there so I didn't end up using the pool. I really like my facial with Ruth. She was amazing and had lovely energy. I would definitely rebook. My massage was okay, but despite a few requests for more pressure, I was told that was the max she could do. I have had a lot of massages, but have never encountered that before

I really wanted my first time at Cavallo Point Spa to be an amazing experience, but it was…read moredisappointing. When I booked, I specifically requested a deep tissue massage. However, when I met my therapist, he mentioned he would be doing a signature massage without discussing pressure preferences, even though I had noted on my intake form that I prefer firm pressure. Unfortunately, the massage itself felt neither particularly deep nor relaxing, and it did not meet my expectations. Upon arriving, I was initially confused about the entrance. I entered a building with a gift shop and "tea bar," thought I was in the wrong place, and had to ask for directions. I then learned the spa entrance was behind the wall in the gift shop, which wasn't apparent. I expected the tea bar to be a special space that you might find in a Japanese tea garden, but it was a bar with a mini fridge, something you might find at a gym, and it was in the gift shop! While the waiting area was bright and airy, the changing area--which included the infrared sauna and hot tub--felt more like a college locker room than a spa environment. The treatment floor itself also had a rather sterile, hospital-like feel that didn't create a relaxing atmosphere. It would be helpful if a pre-appointment email listed available amenities and noted that guests should bring a swimsuit to use the hot tub. I checked the website beforehand and did not see this information listed or any photographs. I would have enjoyed using the hot tub had I known, but I was told I could purchase a suit in the shop instead. Lastly, the one-size sandals provided were difficult to walk in and felt unsafe and risky on the stairs after the treatment. I also found it fairly shocking that they suggest 22% as the starting point for a gratuity. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience, ambiance, and level of service provided. I sent the manager feedback and was informed that the changing room space was going to be getting an update, but I feel additional updates are needed, including making reception a dedicated space or moving it inside the door, and moving the tea bar, and making it a unique, special space. Having the reception area and the tea bar crammed together with the gift shop does not work.

I was told the Pharmacy Manager wasn't available, so I asked to speak with any manager. The manager told me he thinks the Pharmacy Manager's name was "Lau" (he spelled it) and that the pharmacist answering the phones might be "Shemma." I told him that I had already been disconnected multiple times and was just trying to get my prescription. The manager wasn't rude, but it didn't really feel like I was talking to someone who was concerned about fixing the issue. I expected a little more urgency since why are the pharmacy staff acting like they answering calls and disconnecting them on "accident". Instead, the only solution offered was to transfer me back to the pharmacy and let them know I was waiting on the phone. When someone answered, I asked if her name was Shemma. She immediately responded, "Nope," and transferred me. I was connected to Shemma. I realized she wasn't the same person that had disconnected my earlier calls because her voice sounded different from the employee who had answered before. Since Shemma stayed on the line, I decided to ask about my medication and a possible prescription transfer between Walgreens locations. I explained that my regular Walgreens told me that if this location had the medication in stock, they could request the prescription transfer. Shemma told me, "No, I can't do that. Call that Walgreens to transfer it." This completely conflicted with what I had already been told, and I felt like I was being talked over. My biggest concern is still the employee who initially answered the phone. After one of the disconnections, I called back and asked for her name first because I wanted to know who was disconnecting the calls. I figured if the call got disconnected again, at least I would know who I had spoken with. When I asked for her name, she responded, "Sure," and the call was disconnected. This is another reason I strongly recommend asking for the employee's name at the beginning of the call. I feel like people are less tough when they know you know who they are. If you need to follow up, file a complaint, or reference a specific interaction, having the employee's name can make that process a lot easier. With that being said, I don't need my prescription to be filled here anymore. Goodluck to ya if you have to call this pharmacy.

My main reason is for skin care, cosmetics and supplements. They are usually pretty well stocked in all circumstances, except for a hard to find supplement that I depend upon using on a daily basis. It seems that this Walgreens, the product web site and Amazon are the only places to buy Heliocare Advanced. Dermatologist recommended, It helps support skin health and maintains the skin's ability to protect against the aging effects of free radicals. Meaning, It provides protection against the four types of radiation that can cause sun damage - UVA, UVB, visible light and infrared. Needless to say, at my age, I worry about the aging effects of the sun! I'm not much of an online shopper and prefer to actually go to a store and get what I need right away! Plus, I like to browse and impulse shop while I'm there. I'm too impatient having to wait several days to get something via delivery! So that's why I am frustratingly having to write a 2 star review, after taking the time to drive to my Walgreens and once again finding that they are out of stock every other time I visit! I assume it is a popular in store item, so why can't they order appropriately? When I do come across it, I end up with the only bottle available on the shelf at the time. To top it off, I never get asked if I need help as employees walk past me with blinders on. Other local Walgreens don't even seem to carry Heliocare and employees don't know what I'm talking about. I guess I'm forced to take the online route after all and avoid shopping here altogether in the future...

Most of the employees seem very young and there's a lot of cussing between staff members, which feels unprofessional. Items sometimes ring up at a different price, and many things are out of stock. The aisles are often filled with boxes, which makes it hard to shop. I've started going to the CVS in Lathrop instead. I'm not sure if management changed or what happened, but unfortunately I'll be avoiding this location from now on.

I parked, went inside, let the pharmacy tech know I was waiting. After 35 minutes, I went to check. The prescription was in the "waiting to be picked up" shelf, but they had not let me know. No apology was offered. I cannot express how much I wish that Walgreens was NOT my wife's insurance preferred provider. Next time, I'll stay parked in the drive through window, so I won't be forgotten. Follow up: Got home. The prescription we needed was short - only 5 of 60 pills. Not that unusual, but I wasn't told at the time. The interesting part is that 3 prescription we did NOT need and supposedly was set only to be refilled on specific request, were filled. It's amazing that when Walgreens makes a mistake, it results in greater revenue!
