I visited this bbq place back in Nov after seeing so many raving reviews. However, what I experienced was quite different. I took my time to contemplate so I can give an unbiased, honest review. The restaurant is located at the end of an old strip mall. The interiors was tidy and clean. Very few people were eating there, just 2 tables of patrons. Prices aren't cheap. We ordered their briskets and some sides. The briskets were so dry, not tender and lukewarm. When we asked the chef, he said these were made fresh. Oh well, I have never had any fresh briskets taste like that, at least not in Oklahoma. The seasoning was almost non-existed, blended without character. It was late, we were hungry and we had a long drive next. But we couldn't finish those couple slices. Leaving hungry. It's just so bad. Their potato salad was swimming with heavy oil. Just look at the thick layer of sheen in my pictures and you'll understand what I'm saying. The best thing was the water. I usually support small businesses, but I would be lying to you if I tell you I will ever go back there again. Can't recommend this place. read more

While visiting two of the five granddaughters in the thriving metropolis of Centerton, we decided to eat dinner together. Visited this little restaurant for dinner last night. 2 meat 2 side combo. A bit pricey for the size of portion received. Brisket: had a good Smokey flavor but was dry. Pulled pork: very good, still moist, a lot of skin which I love. Mac n cheese: good flavor but soggy noodles Baked potato salad: oh so so good. The homemade sauce was great. Dry rub on ribs is Smokey and a bit spicy- fantastic. The staff was the real highlight everyone was super nice and accommodating. I'll give it another try. read more

Stopped by friday around 5:30 pm. Super friendly staff and the explained menu to me. The smoked sausage is off the chart. The baby back ribs have a dry rub and the meat falls off the bone. Pulled pork is tender and has great taste. The bbq beans are good and has lots of meat. I really like garlic and beans definitely had a good bit of garlic in them. Woo Pig Yummy! Scoot to Woo Pig for some tender & tasty barbecue. We ordered the combo plate (2 of them) with pulled pork, ribs and burnt ends. We opted for the beans mac & cheese and sweet potato casserole as our sides. The ribs have the perfect crispy finish (dry, not wet) and are so tender. The meat is not overwhelmed by the taste of the smoking. Cooked to perfection. Everything was delicious and the sweet potato casserole is a great side and that you don't see at a lot of barbecue joints. Jimmy loves what he does and puts that love into his food. Just had a brisket sandwich, baked, potato salad, and great big beans. Spent some time speaking to the owner, who shared that he spends 22 hours of work to prepare his briskets with prime brisket. Even his burgers are smoked three hours, amazing. It may seem like it's a little ways out on the edge in Centerton, but it's worth it. Five years from now it'll be in the center of Centerton. Ate their tonight. It was a pleasure finding this gem in centerton. They are located where Estradas used to be. Just two words "Hot" and "Sauce" it's just . I had the brisket and jalapeno sausage while my wife enjoyed her pulled pork sammich. It's some of the best BBQ around and I'm glad to find one so close to home and has enough in that BBQ sauce. We ended up getting some burnt tips and it literally melts in your mouth like butter. Highly recommend this place if you want some solid BBQ. The pictures just don't do it justice. We were so disappointed. The ribs were so spicy I couldn't eat them. The Mac & cheese had no flavor. The coleslaw had an odd floor. None of the sides were homemade. The $4.50 "piece" of key lime pie was a round frozen thing that also had no flavor. None of the people behind the counter were wearing masks. It's a state mandate. Wish it would have been better. We decided to try this local BBQ place in March 2021, by word of mouth from a friend who had eaten there. The food was above our expectation! The burnt ends are a must try, like seriously, you have to taste this perfect piece of meat! We have tried everything on the menu and haven't had anything that was bad. The ribs are tender, the prime rib is amazing as well as the pulled pork. My husband loves the sweet potato casserole. I hope more people give them a try, would hate to lose this gem of a place. We just moved to Centerton from Minnesota and were happy to find a place so close to our house with such great reviews. Our first visit to Woo Pig Mooie was fantastic! We were greeted by a very friendly staff who took time to explain the offerings. The owner was working behind the counter and did a pretty fair Minnesota accent. We took our food to go but did notice that the dining area is very nice. So, excellent staff; nice, clean dining room. Now, for the food. Wow! Absolutely delicious. My wife and I each had a 3-meat platter so we got to try most of the meats. All were fantastic! For me, the burnt ends and the sausage were the standouts but everything was just wonderful. The sauces were excellent as were all of the sides. We felt so welcomed here. We will definitely be regular visitors to this fine establishment. (In Hawaii we say it's "ono", we also say "it wen' broke da mouth" there's a twang of tastiness in it which makes your mouth pop with excitement (well it did for me. I've always liked wet fall-off-the-bone ribs because the dry rub ribs always seem to be chewy and not very tender. These ribs - everything - was juicy, tender, flavorful, and mouthwatering.
