Ordered take out. Very friendly staff and short wait time for food. Fried wontons we're crips and tasty with a yummy dipping sauce accompanying them. Hot and sour soup was delicious and perfectly made. King Pao Chicken dinner was flavorful and packed with perfectly cooked chicken and vegetables. One small error with a mix up in my order but they'll take care of me next time. Great food, excellent service. I'd recommend that you give them a try. I will be back. read more

1st thing the place is tired and drab. Looks dirty from the get go. Set ourselves only one waitress is on staff. Server stated one for lunch and one for dinner. Menus were dirty pieces of paper with items crossed off as not available. Table was cleaned but the condiment containers were sticky dirty. Really was concerned if this was what the customers experienced, then what was going on in the kitchen. Ordered the orange chicken with white rice and tea. The tea came in a beat up metal old tarnished pot. Food wise it was ok but I didn't enjoy due to the atmosphere. Will not be returning. read more

This place has been here 50 years ! The original Owners were Foo and Faye ! This is where I learned to eat Chinese Food ! I base the quality of other Restaurants to this one ! Many do not cut it ! Keep on driving. Based on my experience, one thing for certain is that everything about this place is Wong. Smelled like a nursing home inside and the decor didn't help. Chicken fried rice is the worst I've ever had. Crunchy rice bits, something that wasn't chicken that they called chicken (Tasted and looked like cold lunch meat). The crab Rangoon was nasty. Cheese inside made me sick. I've eaten a lot of Chinese food all over the country and this was certainly the worst I've had. Topping it off, the service matched the level of the food. The good: As others have said the egg rolls are the best you will find. Same for the fried rice. Prices are reasonable with lunch specials each day. The bad: pretty much everything else.... At first glance you will notice the dull interior. After waiting to be seated the waitress looked up and said sit anywhere. She clearly did not want to be at work. Another reviews comment that "one of the waitress's looked like she was on drugs" is spot on. The restrooms are bad enough that multiple members of our party commented that there is no way it could be up to code. The regulars here are all elderly, and as a group of "outsiders" the entire experience was awkard at best. No refills on beverages. Food other than the egg rolls and rice was luke warm. The list goes on... Bottom line: If you are looking for the best egg rolls and fried rice in the area, get take out from here. Any other food choices have consistently underperformed and the entire dine in experience is just sketchy. read more

I used to come to Wong's a few years back and I have to say that the quality and taste of the food has gone out the door. The fried rice had all kinds of mistery meat and it was mostly rice, found two pieces of shrimp and it was just a sorry atempt at beinf fried rice. The won ton soup was tasteless and the noodles were past overcooked with very little filling. I say skip Wong's and head for Panda Express, quality and taste have left the building. read more

I love coming to this restaurant to have some good tasting Chinese food. It's a lot better than most Chinese restaurants in town. I tried their buffet occasionally for lunch and dinner. It was never a disappointment. The waitress lady is always friendly and caring. I took my daughter yesterday, & it was delicious! We both enjoyed our meals very much. The same waitress lady offered us warm dinner rolls with butter to go with our plates. So very thoughtful of her. Only took a pic of my plate. It was surprisingly delicious! Sweet and sour chicken, friend rice, egg roll and hot and sour soup. White chicken meat, soft and not chewy. Rice was really good and so is everything else. Still wish they will give more fried rice than just a small child size ice-cream scoop. read more

Ate at Wong's for the first time in years, it was fabulous. They have a (kinda) new chef. The egg rolls, sweet and sour sauce, and fried rice are as amazing as they were when the Wongs still had the restaurant. The hot and sour soup is some of the best I've ever had. Yes, it's spicy and sour and brothy. Highly recommend the Cantonese fried rice. I had almond duck--it was tasty even though the duck was ground. The general's chicken was good as well. Our server, Keya, was amazing--quick with refills, offered great suggestions and was very attentive. Brought us lots of the magical sweet and sour for my to go egg roll. The dining room and bathrooms were clean and tidy. Overall an amazing experience--best Chinese I've had since the Wongs sold the restaurant. Stopped in for Lunch Buffet. Everything on the buffet was nearly empty, and cold. The sweet and sour chicken was also dry, and sweet & sour sauce was flavorless. During our visit a couple came in looked at the buffet. And walked out. When the waitress brought it to the attention of the manager, he stated "Let them go. You can't please everybody, I don't care. " Service was very slow. Waitresses were talking about getting their hours cut. Making statements like I would go on strike if you go. These statements were all being made in serving room for all to hear. This restaurant does not have many days left. This place use to be a "go to" place. Now it's a "stay away from" place. read more

I'm going to dish out some grace as this place goes way back. Certainly not a trendy hipster place and you may think it a bit squidgy around the edges. But just shut up and go for the food. The other reviews are dead on about the egg rolls, they have stuck to the recipe for at least 60 years. And the rest of the food is way better than any other Chinese place within 20 miles. read more

We were here 7/20/2017 at 6:30 p.m. with a group of seven. We have been here several times before; coming from out of town to the Wagon Wheel. The food was very good. The waitress we had was not on the same par as the food! She had very little to no knowledge of the menu. She could not explain dishes or give recommendations. At one point one of our members asked about a picture on the menu and she replied that she had no idea what it was, what it had in it, and had never seen anything like it! She brought plates for everyone at the table, but just handed them to one person and said to pass them around! When she brought our bills, one person asked if she took the payments up or if we paid at the register. She said she would take them up, but be sure to mark on the tab how much tip you want to put on. (I'm not quite sure why she asked for the tip because when we got the merchant copy there was a place to put the tip). When she brought back our credit cards, she passed them out by asking "Who has the red card?" After we got to the Wagon Wheel, those of us who had the combination plate( which is to include dessert) realized that we had been offered no dessert and none of us got a fortune cookie! After seeing the reviews on here I thought we had a good pick, however, I was less than satisfied. I'm not one to complain and I really try to be optimistic. The atmosphere was dull. And as one said the population was mostly elderly. The service was awful, our waitress acted like she was on drugs. There was no life to her and when I had a hard time choosing what to order she was pissy. She forgot a good chunk of our order and almost spilled hot egg drop soup on a child in our group because she was not paying attention, TWICE! I was less than impressed with the food. This place was pretty good, but we probably wouldn't go out of our way to go again. My husband had the Kungpow chicken with fried rice, an egg roll and egg drop soup, and I had the Sweet and sour pork with the same trimmings as my hubby. Mine was OK, the dumplings(I don't know what else to call them) were like pork chop bits wrapped in doughnut, and the sauce was sweet but kind of indifferent, it was not very flavorful. The Kungpow chickens' sauce was very good, but there were only 3 chunks of chicken in it(literally), so about 2 cups of chopped onions and peppers, and 3 small chunks of chicken. The fried rice I liked very much, and the soup and egg rolls were both good. The staff was very friendly and quick, our food came quickly and was nice and hot, overall, it's not a bad place, and maybe the dinner options are a little better. The prices were cheap and the food was acceptable, just not fantastic. read more

We waiting for over an hour to get food when the restaurant was clearly not busy in any sense of the word. Our appetizers were given to another table, who then decided to leave after they hadn't received their food. We finally received our food to find it to be bland. The chicken lol mein tasted like spaghetti with no sauce, as that's what it appeared to be. We learned the chef was an 80 year old man who had dementia.... Our waitress wasn't very good either, as she never refilled our drinks and gave us water with particles floating around in it. Needless to say, we're NEVER going back read more

Literally the best Wonton soup available in this town that I have tried. Their crab rangoon is also my favorite, it's not sweet like some others. Also if you love egg rolls and aren't opposed to meat I would get yourself some of theirs. Awesome setting and a characteristic place to go out for dinner. After reading the reviews I was excited to come here, as it sounded like a treasure of a place that has been here forever. However, I was not impressed at all. A lot of people mentioned the interior décor, and I paid no mind to that. What I did mind, were the stained yellow drinking glasses, the water that tasted like it had been taken from a toilet bowl and the orange chicken that tasted like it had been sitting for a week. Outside of that the waitress was very awkward and lacked even average customer service. After tasting the water I changed my drink and was considering not ordering food as it did not seem like a sanitary place. Determined to give it a fair chance, I ordered the soup and eggroll which were fine but the entrée I ordered tasted horrid. To be quite honest, I'm not sure how this place is still running with how horrible the customer service was and how the food lacked. If you're looking for quality food, decent service and a sanitary environment, this is not the place for you. read more
