Deciding to have lunch here in Warsaw, Indiana was a no brainer. When my local Warsaw friend and I past the area where Panda Express and Starbucks were next to each other, I knew I had to go there for lunch. Not only because I have the app, because it was budget friendly. After my friend dropped me off here, I decided to mobile order @ Panda Express while getting a drink at Starbucks. I know from previous experiences that it takes a while to get the order prepared. For a weird reason, I decided to order the Panda Bundle, but didn't noticed they assigned the drink as Coke. And so, when I entered and picked up my order, I noticed this black liquid in the cup. I thought I could just fill it at their self serve drink station. I asked what that was and explained to them I thought that it was supposed to be an empty cup versus one that was prefilled with Coke. The lady didn't want to argue, so she gave me a medium empty cup, so I could fill it with my drink of choice, which I try not to drink soda. It's been almost a year since my no soda pledge. So far so good. I ended up with 2 drinks to accompany my Panda Express meal. I usually do the basics of chao mien, unless they have chao fun at a particular location. Then orange chicken and beef broccoli are the staples I usually do. For this experience in Warsaw, Indiana, it was the beef broccoli, mushroom chicken, sauteed eggplant, with a bed of chao mein. The perfect combination of sweet and savory. It was definitely a slice from home since we have Panda Express in Honolulu. It was pretty cool to see Panda Express in NE Indiana of all places. The overall experience here at this Panda Express location here in Warsaw, Indiana was interesting and good. I came here around 11:30am and it was fairly empty with the lunch rush to slowly trickle in. I must have sat in the corner and dined in, since I saw a bunch of people walk in and ordered. I guess I was thankful that I did beat the rush. I was also thankful that this restaurant had restroom facilities and a self service drink station. I must have filled up my cup at least 3 times before fill up one for the road. The restaurant itself was clean and can probably sit up to 20 people at a time. Thankfully, it was fairly empty and I could get my own seat and eat privately while working on my phone. While this isn't the pinnacle of fine dining, its basically economical and good to have while traveling. I particularly enjoy the noodles for sure, but the other stuff is still good, but yet tolerable. It was nice that they didn't really safe guard the self service drink station as to limiting how much refills you can do in one dining experience. Thankful for that. As long as you behave yourself and act civil, I guess most people let you do what you want within reason. With that said, if you are in the area and love Chinese food, consider coming here to Panda Express for your daily fix. It was nice that Panda Express chose this location in Warsaw, Indiana. This Panda Express location is in Warsaw, Indiana. It's interesting how this Panda Express chose this particular location. It's physically located at 1170 Lake City Highway in Warsaw. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. For me though, I mobile ordered it, so it was quick and easy. As far as parking goes, there's a good amount of parking here, but best bet is to get here before the lunch or dinner rush comes through the area. Better yet, mobile order and quickly grab and go. If you feel like dining in, that's good too, especially with the unlimited refills on drinks. Not sure if Warsaw has its own public transportation system, but your best bet would be to have your own car or rent one. There's always Uber or Lyft to get you here, as well as those food delivery services too, if you can't make it out but want to enjoy what Panda Express has to offer. For myself though, I enjoyed the ambiance and the unlimited refills on drinks during my time here. It was a quick bite on a Sunday in April 2024 before heading off to South Bend for the rest of the day. If you love Chinese food and in the area, come on by. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 5.0 stars for the unlimited drink station and the service. Food was horrible alongside the service. I placed order and the staff scraped the bottom of the dish and just served that wasn't enough to constitute as a side for the sake of arguing I just accepted the poor service and food I ended up tossing it because it was cold and not very good. Went to the restroom where clearly issues with toilet leaking and nothing has been done the whole time the utility closet was opened and created a unsafe environment as children are walking around and not Ada compliant as a wheel chair could not enter through restrooms. No reason for closet to be open and no staff was on lobby or restroom side everyone behind counter. The dining room was a mess and not swept. Just poor management of staff it appears and what a waste of my time and money I expected more from Panda. read more

What's with all the negative reviews? We have weekend lunch here probably every two to three weeks. It's fast, tidy, and the food is consistently great. The employees are always super nice! Let me start off by saying when this Panda first opened it was great, however, now it is not a great place. Very displeased with service and the food. I've been watching it go down hill for awhile now, but today they have me writing a review.. I went there for lunch with my family. We stood waiting to order our food for 5 minutes and considered walking out. Manager/Shift lead was standing right in front of us taking orders for the drive-thru that entire time. Never said a word to us.. No: welcome to Panda express, hi, hello, we will be right with you.. nothing. A gloomy boy walked up after and took our order, no smile, no greeting. It was more of an inconvenience that we were there. When we finally got to the table to eat our food we were not happy. Meat was luke warm, steamed rice was more like rice porridge (overcooked and very mushy), and the fried rice was the same (overcooked, mushy, and salted??? yes salted.. not soy... not sesame sauce, salt.. tall tale sign was the fried rice was white... I don't know it was even fried). We ate the meat.. after all we just paid $30+ for 3 bowls.. but threw away everything else.. I will not be returning anytime soon. read more

Pretty new installment of Panda. As such, it's still clean. The staff was nice and attentive, and the food was good. Pretty standard Panda Express food (yummy, but crazy unhealthy). Update: giving another star because the manager offered to make up the food 'mishaps' my last couple of visits with some meal certificates. That is a very nice gesture and offer. For me though it is not about getting a free meal, it is about getting quality food. Maybe if they, the chain of Pandas, start offering some vegan dishes I'll return, maybe. **** Panda just keeps getting worse, if that is even possible! They are super nice there, but very unsanitary. Drive thru was empty, pulled up and ordered quickly. My order was served before I got to the window. Very quick and happy, but then I get on the road to eat and one bowl is very empty. Very little chow mein and very little honey sesame chicken. If an item was out or running low I would have preferred the employee to let me know and I would have chosen a different item. I'm sure this definitely doesn't follow their "heaping scoop" rule. Especially after seeing how nicely served the other bowls were. How is it that only 1 was not even half ways. Okay so basically I feel like this part of town is in some sort of cult . A lot of non colored / white people who stare at you like your not humans . Back to the food .... It was cold and the chicken was mushy and rubbery like it was raw .... Not to sound racist but kinda how white people like there meat "undone" .... And the manager forgot our sweet and sour sauce . Worst Panda around. Lady that works drive thru barely speaks English so you have to say your order at least twice every time. Then they don't even get your order right, we have had to go back multiple times because they gave us someone else's order. The staff is not friendly at all. Very happy to see this come to town. The line was out the door last night, but with the cafeteria style service, things moved at a fast pace. Granted, the recipes are what they are in preparation, but those dishes are delicious. The smell made my mouth water from the atrium. Straightforward ordering. Your side (or sides, if you do the half and half), the number of main dishes you'd like, then the appetizers (egg rolls, spring rolls, rangoon, etc.), then desserts and drinks. They offer samples if you're unsure of what you want to get. They offer your mains as a single bowl, 2, or 3 with a side, and also large family orders with sides. You can find the right size meal for your desires there. I had the Sweetfire Chicken, Beijing Beef, fried rice, mixed vegetables, and an egg roll. Both meats were tender and delicious with their respective vegetables and sauces. Fried rice was effectively melt-in-your-mouth and not gluey or clumped. Veggies were well cooked, yet very crisp with just a hint of seasoning that really let the true flavor of them come through. Egg roll was crisp, not oily, and I look forward to trying more dishes. Passed through area for work and ate here twice. I am from south pasadena ca where panda started. Not sure how all the bad reviews came about for this location but I respect the posters. The on-site manager was cool and the food was fresh. I did not give five stars because the wait for steamed rice one visit was 20 minutes. Yes, the food here is very comparable to those famous pandas in so cal. The consistency is good. I think this is a good spot for some good hot fast Chinese food in Warsaw. Checked in here hoping to get the best service as has always been at other Pands Express but alas! The waiters were more than ready to go home for the day - it was only an hour before they close. I ordered the mixed veges but was told ' it's gonna have to be 3 minutes!' Asked if I was gonna be waiting, I said yes. That really seemed to heat up this guy. He had to call the chef who was on the phone ( I don't recall them taking delivery orders so it must have been a personal call). He made the mixed veges with one hand holding the phone. Panda Express is one of my fast food favorites, however this location is not one that I necessarily prefer personally. Some of the wait staff is a bit unprofessional and the food is not as good when compared to other locations. However if you are wanting Panda Express while in the area, while it's not the best, it will still satisfy the cravings for it. read more

As a family of 6, this is our go-to place when everyone's hungry, on the go, and we don't want to spend a ton of money. The younger kids get the children's plate, usually noodles with chicken and green beans, the older boys get a bowl with noodles and orange chicken, and my husband & I get a 2-entree plate, with vegetables (instead of rice or noodles), walnut shrimp and sweetfire chicken/chicken teryaki. The quality is always the same, and we've had Panda Express in several states - we never feel like we didn't get our money's worth. The only negative I can say about this specific branch is that once we arrived about 20 minutes before closing time (9 pm), and they barely had any food left (nothing we wanted), and were not making any new for us either, which is cheap and not very customer oriented. read more

Panda Express boasts a Chinese food feel with the fast food restaurant experience. The orange chicken is a favorite to most everyone that comes to Panda Express. Disappointed. We eat at Panda all the time on our cross country trips because we know we get good food and good sized portions. This was neither. Food was ok but the potions were extremely tiny. Now the question is will we eat at a Panda again? Probably not. We can live with ok food but not skimpy portions. I'm always satisfied with this Panda Express. We went through drive-thru the other night a little after 9, and while they didn't have every option left to choose from, they seem to always have orange chicken. (which is our favorite!) We got our food quickly, and since it was almost closing time, they gave us good helpings of everything we ordered. Decided to have lunch here today. I was greeted by Amanda through the drive thru speaker (she seemed very chipper and happy) asking if i would like to try the new firecracker chicken dish. I asked if it was breaded or not, after she explained how the meal was prepared (without prompting) I decided that yes I did want to try it. I was pleased with my meal and the service.
