Just used Wonderful Reveals so my husband would have a chance to see our daughter since he hasn't been allowed to any appointments due to COVID. Donna took her time to get us the perfect shot. I understand things happen but I am leaving this review based upon how I was treated & in hopes no one runs into the same experience as I did. I would like to explain everything in detail why my husband and I do NOT recommend Wonderful Reveals, as she was extremely disrespectful to BLOCK me on both text & social media after I simply sent her a text explaining how I felt in regards to my gender reveal. So, I sent her a text after the party because I didn't want to do it in front of my guests due to not wanting her to feel embarrassed or the confrontation becoming any type of scene verbally, however all my guests were in agreement that I should not pay her after what went down. However to not cause a scene, we ended up paying her full price anyways & after she left, the disappointment I felt just still wasn't sitting right with me and felt I have to say something. For My reveal party, I used Donna for not one, but Two of her services: an at-home Ultrasound for my family to see & after that was done, the gender reveal which was supposed to be a Cannon that would set off a crazy amount of blue smoke and confetti into the sky, at a countdown from 10. Along with the ultrasound, I ordered from her a teddy bear for the grandparents-to-be which is a separate cost as well. The teddy bear was supposed to record my babys heart beat, however one of the bears do not work. All in all, everything came out to a total of $620. It cost $250 for the ultrasound, $250 for the cannon, & $120 for 3 teddy bears. But instead, Here is what we got for that price: Showing the ultrasound on the TV was fine, but It was a rainy day, so while it was raining we figured do the ultrasound BEFORE the gender reveal while its still raining out and once it stops raining we will go out and set off the cannon for the reveal. Mid-way into the ultrasound, we noticed it had stopped raining so she said we will go out quick and set off the cannon now & then we can come back inside and continue the ultrasound right after. I will explain how the gender reveal went, but first, I will have you know that after the gender reveal was done, she just left without finishing my full ultrasound session as she promised us, so I paid the amount for only half a session and I only paid for half the amount of pictures for me to keep. As we went outside to do the cannon once the rain stopped, we counted down from 10- 3, 2, 1..Nothing. The cannon did not work. It didn't go off. Luckily, My husband was able to pop an individual popper (the popper and cannon were suppose to go off at same time together) That I bought from party city, and thankfully that little popper worked or else the moment Realllly would have been taken from us. after my husband popped his own little popper, we still waited for the cannon to go off. After some delay, what was supposed to be a huge smoke show and confetti show turned out to be very light smoke, light blue it almost looked white and it didn't go high up into the air and barely any confetti came out, which she charged me $50 extra to even add confetti.. a few family members did tell her about how the machine didn't go off at all at the countdown. I have video of her saying to herself "why didn't it go off" and she goes up to it to fix it.she did not apologize for what happened and just said "Eh it is what it is." No, Ill tell u guys WHAT IT IS. What is is, is a moment that is forever taken from us and money that we spent completely wasted. In complete regret, We still gave her the money after being humiliated and figured we can just send her a text after the party to not ruin the moment even more. I sent her a text, not mean at all, just explaining that clearly it wasn't what we imagined this would be after going over multiple videos together of what it should look like and when I sent the text it told me she READ it so I know she got my message but after a day of NO RESPONSE the next day I sent a question mark like this, "?" But strangely enough, that text didn't deliver, which means she blocked me. I didn't ask for all money back in the text, I just said is there anything u can do for us to make it right. (I didn't say this, because im not that type of person but hmm Maybe even an apology?) I then DM her on social media asking if she got my text and it showed on instagram she read that as well and she didn't answer that either however she had time to block my husband and I from instagram too. I feel extremely Hurt and cheated from this. I feel absolutely robbed of my money and moment. I guess you can say she took the money and ran. It is very immature to just block me and not give me my husband or my guests an apology. we worked hard to throw this party and it just hurts to know she has zero sympathy for us. I have family in business and I know when a customer is upset is about something they always ask "what can I do to make it right for you?" read more

I scheduled an at-home 4D sonogram session a little over two weeks in advance via e-mail. I found this business via Instagram and it appeared as though the quality of service was great for expecting families, therefore I opted to move forward and schedule the appointment. For reference, I am diagnosed with HG in my current pregnancy, therefore leaving my house at this time is extremely difficult, as I hardly ever feel well enough to do so. An at-home session is exactly what I needed to regain excitement about this difficult pregnancy. The day arrives for our session, we have family come out from all over during bad weather to experience this moment with us. We had a party planned later in the day for the remainder of our family to view our pictures/videos, pure joy and excitement. Donna, the technician, arrives at our home and states that she forgot the wires necessary to hook up her equipment to the TV. I offered her wires that we had, to which she stated those would not work. I asked her if it were possible to go home at grab what she needed and come back, being that we had family over for this sole purpose. She was extremely rude immediately and said "I live in Tottenville, I'm not going to do that". Keep in mind, I have an e-mail from Donna upon scheduling that states how close our homes were located, as I live in Great Kills. Not sure how the distance became an issue that day. I then asked her if she could come back later on in the day. She became extremely rude and defensive stating that she had another client. First of all, if she had another client after me, she would still need those wires to complete her next clients session, correct? She then told me I could come to her studio during the week to do the session. I booked an at-home session for a reason. My issue WAS NOT that a mistake happened, but was how unprofessional Donna was when I was simply trying to figure out a way to not completely ruin my day, as well as my family who took time off work to be there for us. When I asked Donna to leave my home, as her attitude was so poor that I could not stand for it any longer, she called me "crazy" for not understanding that things happen, which once again was NOT the issue. Being called names in my own home while trying to get this woman paid for providing a service, even after her unprofessional mistake, because let's face it, you had two weeks to place those wires in your bag, was absolutely disgusting. Upon reading reviews and hearing from other pregnant women I know, this isn't the first time this behavior was exhibited. I received no apology for her behavior, which was worse than the service not being provided. I am so grateful that she was not paid in advance and did not take off with any money from me, as she had with other clients (see other reviews). Calling pregnant women names is low. I just had my appointment with Donna and I couldn't recommend her enough. I was experience some anxiety about the baby and really wanted some peace of mind that everything was going well. Right away Donna made me feel understood and jumped in to help eased my mind. She got me booked in less than 24 hours and I walked out feeling so much better! She takes her time to explore and explain the images to you. Her studio is clean, comfortable, and inviting...plus in most cases she can even come to you in your own home! 10/10 Recommend! read more
