Cute little spot! We stopped in for a drink before a comedy show and enjoyed ourselves. It's a fun vibe with hanging greenery complete with plastic flamingos. I ordered the glitter disco ball drink which was good and my husband had just a gin and tonic. They have fun games in the back such as ski ball and pong. I'd recommend for a drink or two! Drink list items were around $10 and up but they did have a special where you could get 5 high noons for $30.

Honestly, I always thought wonder bar was a super cool decent place. I hadn't been in a few years, and we were so excited when we arrived, we came for a nightcap and it wasn't too crowded, we grabbed 4 seats by the bar. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience, after enjoying a night with friends, we requested water from the bartender, he passive-aggressively directed us to the water cooler, we grabbed a cup of water and came back to order a white claw, we ordered 4 white claws and we didn't say anything but sat down, the bartender took our order and said "are you going to be a tough guy?" to a guy in our group. Confused, we said, "not at all", within a minute, he walked over, cracked open our white claws and poured them out in front of us and directed us to leave. I am sure this was a miscommunication! He assumed we were being hostile and instructed us to leave the restaurant, I stepped aside and addressed the owner and attempted to mitigate the situation, she did not offer any condolences and said her bartender asked us to leave so we need to leave. Other people at the bar were alarmed and confused, and we left feeling defeated and disappointed. I have been with Yelp for years and never had a terrible experience to report but I think it is important to consider the service industry right now, being low staffed, we understand immediate service is not always possible, but my with the bartender

Wonder bar it is a wonder how this place exists in the high rent district of East 4th. This is your local neighborhood bar transported to one of the most trendy areas of cleveland. It is an amazing hole in the wall bar disguised on the exterior as a trendy over priced place. If you are tired of snobby uppity people this is the place for you. Sit back enjoy and people watch the characters throughout this place

Your average bar located in the heart of Downtown Cleveland. This is a good place to check out the bar games, beer selection from the local brewers or outside patio. If you're looking for a casual spot to grab a drink in the heart of the busiest street in Downtown Cleveland then I would recommend this bar. The bar gives off a townie feel which is warm and welcoming to anyone. The bartenders are welcoming, love joking around and will keep you laughing. There isn't anything special about this bar. I came in here to grab a drink with some friends. We didn't try any of the food and didn't even take the time to look at the menu. The drinks were cheap and the daily specials were tempting.

The Wonder lies at Wonder Bar... perhaps you come here as a stop off point on a night out or for a night cap after an event, the wonder bar is just that, a bar to serve your needs. Don't come here expecting a 5 star dining experience, come here expecting a local bar with no reservations. The crowd is lax and the bartenders are fun and engaging with the customers. Prepare for a good laugh while enjoying a drink or two, or three... We only came as a night cap and enjoyed one drink here and it definitely came with some laughs for sure. The bar is pet friendly which is a huge plus in my book! Also if you're a downtown local and let them know you luck out with a sweet discount.

By far my favorite bar in Cleveland! Everyone was very friendly. Great customer service. Ashley was our bartender. We ended up going twice in the same night and she was there both times. Drinks were delicious. The environment was fun and upbeat. They have this fun "beer" pong game in the back, of course no frills is provided with it, lol, it only cost $1 a game. Definitely check them out, it is located on 4th street, and it is closed off so you can walk around.

Nothing pretentious about this place to make you feel out of place if your just stopping in for one of their many craft beer offerings.

The wait for the food order (which was delicious) was reasonable given there was a private event happening, although it did seem the bartender was stretched a little thin, taking care of the 6-7 people at the bar, making drinks for another area, and putting glasses away from a previous shift. I had the meatballs and an Italian chopped salad, both very good. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Since the Metropolitan is home to an apartment complex, an upscale hotel, a rooftop bar, a dog park, a Pilates studio, a theater, a basement vault bar, and a "high-end" eatery, there's a whole lot of people constantly coming and going. Sitting at the four (five?) two-person tables situated right at the balcony railing means you can easily lean over and watch people come and go while sipping your drinks. Unlike the rest of the bars in the hotel, I was told there was no drink menu at the Ledger, and the bartender (who waited my table!) simply asked what flavor profile I was desiring tonight. The resulting drink he made was honestly good, and I really enjoyed it. Zero idea what was in it to ever order it again (and he was really overworked to ask!), but it was a neat experience of a "craft your own experience". There were a few beers on tap. I'm unsure about wine. Centro's food menu (restaurant downstairs) appears to be available here. There's a single unisex bathroom within steps of the bar, and the regular hotel lobby bathrooms are down a floor. As conference rooms are nearby this bar, I'd also probably guess there's a large conference room bathroom block too, but I didn't find that one. The rest of the bars and restaurants in the Metropolitan tend to take most of the attention here, and the Ledger has a much more laid-back, chill vibe. A lot of people were watching a sports game (baseball, I think?) on the TV behind me. With the smaller space and wide "open" area of the full lobby, the Ledger feels like your calmest, quietest bar option out of the available places at the Metropolitan.

They offer pretty basic bar food like wings, mozzarella sticks, and pizza, but done well. Their pizzas always look delicious, though I've never tried them. I got the chicken tenders which come with seasoned waffle fries. Both are undeniably delicious, and their honey mustard is perfect. Awesome spot to grab a drink and maybe make a friend while watching a game.

Tom the bartender is the best. Typically a one-man show behind the rectangular bar but he never keeps you waiting. A true pro. If you go regularly, there's a great chance he knows your order. Food is standard bar food at reasonable prices. This is the place to go if you want to feed your inner child chicken tenders and waffle fries. Top notch tendies. Southwest rolls are also good. Lots of people stop in before or after shows at Playhouse Square (sometimes even the dancers from the Broadway series). Often it's quiet, sometimes it's packed. Moe's has Last Call Trivia on Wednesday nights at 7 with a small but mighty regular following. It's a good place to play as there aren't typically any other loud, non-playing groups to listen over. It's becoming less of a hidden gem every year, but that's great news in my book.
