I'm currently on an extended visit from NYC, and about a month ago, I noticed a very serious ant problem at my mother's home. I had her ask the apartment office to put her on the schedule for their contracted pest control. While I didn't get to meet the technician during that first visit, the results spoke for themselves: the ants were completely gone. Meeting Adam today was a breath of fresh air. He is an incredibly well-mannered, standup guy who took the time to educate me on the specific products he was using to mitigate the ant and roach issues. It's rare to find someone who is both highly effective at their job and so willing to share their knowledge with the customer. Rain had been in the forecast all week, yet there was no prior indication that it would affect the appointment. It also was not raining at the time of the scheduled service. Days later, they reached out to reschedule for another week out. By that point, we had already hired another company and completed treatment for $200 less before they even attempted to follow up. told these people for 2 years they weren't putting enough fertilizer on my back yard. front yard…read morewhere they put their advertising sign looked good. texted them numerous times but still could count the fertilizer pellets coming out of the spreader on my back yard. they wanted a soil test so paid them $50.00 for that and then they wanted to aireate my lawn and paid them to do that but no improvement. sent pictures to verify what I was telling them to no avail. fired them and hired weed man and after 1st application 2 weeks later my back yard looked amazing. I heard by someone else that he thought maybe the guy putting the fertilizer down was selling what he didn't use on the side. I believe that because he sure didn't use it on my yard. when I called to fire them they said I need to aireate it for a couple more years. no it just needed fertilizer like I had been telling them the past 2 years and weed man after 1 treatment proved that!!! They are 1 of the best locally owned businesses, and very affordable, and extremely knowledgeable. We recently sold our home and moved into a rental home. Unfortunately, the rental had bugs, and spiders of all kinds lurking in it. Dan the owner was sent out by rental company to do the indoor and outdoor areas. We scheduled a time for him to come out. On day of service he called and said he could come earlier if I wanted him to, and of course I said YES! Dan showed up, he was very polite, professional and knowledgeable about what kind of bugs we had, he took his time, did the entire inside of house, garage and attic before he proceeded outside. Most extermination companies do half of the job he did, and charge way more to do it, and then when they do come to your house they are in and out in 5 minutes. Not Dan . . . He spent a minimum of an hour making sure he covered everything. We have used Cook's before, and I regret not finding this gem of a company sooner.
