This park was perfect for our son last summer when he was smaller and a new walker! We haven't been back since the beginning of the summer since we've been busy (last summer was a little less busy with one of us being unemployed). There's a baby/toddler side and there's a bigger kid's side. Our son likes both sides, but you really have to be attentive if they go on the bigger jungle gym. He is just a climber and the bigger side is more interesting to him. I'm not a helicopter but this jungle gym makes me one :) We are hoping to come back to see if he still takes to it. Sure it is a pain to cross the street, but 1) at least there's parking and 2) at least it gives kids something to do outside! It's also right next to the ice cream shop which is also a plus :) Wollaston beach is very pretty to look at so I love the view. I definitely recommend this place if you have a busy toddler who loves running around, going down slides, and playing in tunnels :) It's fun for the bigger kids too. Something for everyone. The playground hasn't changed much since the pictures were taken in the first review years ago. I like that the 'concrete' around the play area is a little soft (I'm sure there's a name for it but words are failing me!).
This park is also always clean (at least from trash- kids track a lot of dirt but that can't really be helped). The few times we've been there, and the many times my husband went there over last summer by himself with our son, he never had any issues with crowds. And I didn't have any issues with moms hitting on my husband for being the cool, sexy dad that brought his adorable son to the playground. :-P ( I always liked to ask my husband when I came home from work if he made any "mom friends" hahaha). read more
