I gave Idaho Roofing Contractors a call to ask if they did roofing inspections before making my final payment to the company that did our roof. They said they would be happy to come out and do an inspection for me. They were extremely communicative and Chris Newton showed up at 2:00 just as scheduled. He walked around the house with me. Explained what looked good and what could have been done differently but was still ok. After a half an hour he said he was going to get out his drone out to see places we couldn't from the ground and snap photos. We then reviewed all the photos and I got a thorough roofing education, much appreciated! I don't know if they normally spend so much time for a free inspection, but regardless, Chris spent an hour with me and the roof and it didn't cost me anything. No sales pitch or request for me to write a review. I wanted to write a review because I wish I had found them instead of the other company I used. I was blown away that they would be so generous when they knew coming in there was likely no immediate financial benefit for them. From everything Chris explained about how detailed they are and how they take photos of every stage of a roofing project, I think anybody would be well off to use this company. They did a good job on roofing but did damage around our place…read more Damaged our gutter helmet which they too care of. Broke the latch on our gate which they fixed. Broke a glass fixture on yard light which they replaced. Bent our gate post for driveway which took me 4 hours to straighten up. Broke some bricks on a window well which I fixed. Broke 4 bricks by our curb which I had to buy and replace. I thought this was all but when I went in to my shop this fall I found they had rotated my tv antenna which I fixed. I started a fire in my shop and had smoke coming from the chimney pipe. Found that they had evidently lifted the chimney on roof and about a foot from the ceiling in my shop Had been disconnected. Had to wait till fire died down in stove to repair that. It cost me money for repairs And several hours of my time. I never once had a call to offer to reimburse me for my time and expenses.

We had roofing nails throughout our yard due to them using what appeared to be a leaf blower. With pets and or children that's problematic. Also our gutter downspouts were filled with debris. On another note we were informed that if we refer someone to them that has their roof done by Bravo we would get a $500.oo referral check. I referred our neighbor and 6 months later have not received that referral check, even after contacting them 2 months after neighbors were completed. With that being the case will they live up to their promise on the warranty of their work. Hmm ========================================================== After my initial post, Bravo roofing reached out to offer running a magnetic rake around the perimeter (to get any roofing nails I missed) and inspected my downspouts and addressed (if I missed any). They also honored the referral. So with that I'm changing the rating to a 4 star. I can't in good conscience give them a 5 star, since the cleanup should have been inspected and addressed at that time.
