Ordered Doordash from Wolfies and Wolfies (not my doordash order) sent the wrong order to the wrong person. Then, Wolfies did not want to make my food to compensate for their mistake. I'm grateful for Doordash customer support for my refund. But shame on you Wolfies for making a mistake and then doubling down. Yuck. read more

I've been to Wolfie's a couple of times recently, and the difference in service between visits was night and day. During my first visit about a month ago, my friend and I were greeted (or more like, not greeted) by Brooke at the hostess stand. She barely acknowledged us, gave vague answers when we asked to sit at a booth, didn't seem interested in seating us at all. Very very rude & cold. Her seating chart was far more important.After the table was cleaned, we sat ourselves, and still had to go up and ask for menus. When I asked Brooke directly, she literally walked around me and dropped the menus on the table without saying a word. It was bizarre and unwelcoming. I remember Wolfie's from back in the 1960s location, popular, but always known for having poor service and staff with bad attitudes. That experience felt like more of the same. Fast forward to yesterday: complete 180. Anna was at the front, super friendly and accommodating. She not only said I could have the booth, but wiped it down herself and brought menus with a smile. My server, Brittany, was just as amazing,sweet, attentive, and on top of everything. She made the meal feel easy and enjoyable. So here's the takeaway: If you've had bad service at Wolfie's before, don't assume it's always going to be that way. There are great people working here now--people like Anna and Brittany who actually care. The food is still solid--great crawfish and wings--and I'm looking forward to coming back again (hopefully without the Brooke attitude). See y'all next time! read more

It's been a while since I been back here and the food is just "OK" for the price. The wings weren't great, but that was particularly my fault because I do not like double fried or flour based fried wings. I like them naked. That option is not posted on the menu like it used to be back in the day (double fried is). Therefore, by default the waitress ordered me the orginal flour fried wing. I got the naked wings to go which they were much more flavorful and more to my liking. Here is some advice to this restaurant: you all need to change the quality of the lining paper....it is too thin. If someone orders wet wings the sauce will bleed through the lining paper and will not be absorbed into the wings. I squeezed out as much sauce from the paper to my wings to coat them, and we as customers should not have to do that. You all need to copy the concept of Wing Stop and how they prepare their wings to go. Their paper lining is thicker. Their to go boxes are more insulated and compact. The alcoholic beverages were used with cheap and watered down liquor, but again you get what you get at Wolfies because it is a Texas Dive. That needs to be understood and factored in when evaluating the quality of food and service. The young lady that waited on me was super sweet. I do recommend, but remember It Is What It Is....and act accordingly. This place isn't the Ritz. read more

Wolfies? I think yall mean whites only. As soon as me and my cousin came in. And finally found a spot at the bar to sit at. Before we could even sit down the drunk guy (Paul) said "The two ninjas in the house." After ignoring it the first time he said it louder "THE TWO NINJAS AT IN THE HOUSE".... We talked to management and some other people including the staff said something... yet it took 30mins to an hr for manager to remove the guy... After waiting 10 minutes for somebody to acknowledge us at our table we decided to just go to the bar. I ordered grilled wings. They brought back wings that were fried and then thrown on the grill for the marking (that's what the waitress said). I asked if I could just get grilled wings because, my stomach is very sensitive to the grease, they told me that their wings are pre-fried and they cannot grill wings. The manager (Trey) informed me that the only way to get grilled chicken was to order a chicken breast for $9. Overall a terrible experience at that wolfies. I still love the one in Spring. Food, Service, and Ambiance for this sports bar restaurant is excellent! The service and food at this Wolfie's location is the best I've been to and I am now a regular. Their mixed drinks are made well, their food is tasty especially when Bull is on the grill- you can't get a better steak or blackened pork chops for the price. He does really well with the meats. Watching sports, it fills up quick, so get there early. If you're in the area, definitely check it out. read more

Our food was great! A fun place for the kiddos bc it has an arcade. Kiddos loved the corn dogs and grilled cheese. We ate spicy wings and crawfish , delicious! Service was fast too , our server Brittany was so nice and attentive. We will definitely be coming back. read more

We found this little gym and now we are eating here at least 1 per week. It has such good value for the price and the food is good! Crawfish is one of my favorites and I find that at $8-9 per pound, the ones here taste great. I recommend asking for them to be tossed in garlic butter, as this option is available but not on the menu. They have nightly specials, like 99 cent wing night, etc. The wings are the bomb. The catfish is too. You really can't go wrong here. I also want to warn you that not all Wolfies are created equal. We went to another location this past weekend - which shall remain nameless - and it was nothing short of terrible!! From the margaritas to the crawfish - absolutely horrible. read more

So I've been coming here at least once a month for the past three months and my experiences have been just fine. The first couple of times I've come late in the night to satisfy my crawfish craving and they hit the spot every time! Last night was no different other than my friends and I sitting on the dining side VS the bar side, really the only difference being that the bar side you can smoke and they stay open later, but service has been great on either side I've been on. The crawfish has been med to large whenever I've gone, but I haven't had it tossed in garlic like everyone recommends doing, so I'll have to remember to try that next. The crawfish has dry seasoning on the outside and does come with corn and potato, extra dry seasoning and butter cost additional. They also run specials on drinks and have a variety of other food items outside of crawfish, I've been hearing really good reviews on their wings so I'll have to keep that in mind when it's no longer crawfish season! read more

So I have been to this location two times recently in the last two weeks. The first time I went late in the night for a little crawfish date and the service was good and the wings were fire. Now I can say at night time this is a bar so the right side is a little smoky from all of the cigarette smokers but nothing of concern for my lungs. So for the second visit I went for a little solo date to enjoy crawfish by myself because I deserve it lol ! Just a lil fyi the crawfish here is the best price in this area per pound. I gave this place a second chance a year after my first try. There are so many TVs which is why it is great for sports. Hostess sat us quickly and server was prompt and attentive. But the food here is as terrible as I remembered. The chicken strips have no flavor on the meat or the batter, and were dry. The honey mustard tasted off, way off, and the garden salad with ranch I added (so i would have something I could eat if the entree went bad) came to the table with mushrooms and olives. I had no idea and that was not mentioned to me when I ordered. Well, i had made an assumption so i just picked them off. The ranch was noticeably watery but i tried to shrug it off. We had asked for ranch with our entrees because we like it with our fries. It was as watery as the salad, and by then I had lost my appetite and gave up. But when the check came and i saw the ranch in the 2 oz plastic cups had been 50 cents each, i got mad. I get in a place like this those extras can add up for the restaurant, but considering it tasted like discount ranch that had been cut with tap water, charging for it without mentioning its extra is very uncool. I went today for my second time at Wolfie's. The atmosphere is a typical local sports bar with TVs stretching across every wall and various arcade games. The menu is various American fare, with a focus on Cajun seafood specialties, including 2 types of gumbo. There are daily drink and food specials, and in general, the menu prices are very reasonable for the area. We ordered a burger and french dip, which were both very good, with fresh french fries. While there is nothing pretentious about this place, the food is solid, and the atmosphere is a fairly quiet and clean sports bar that appears to attract many regular locals. We had Julia as a waitress today, and I must say that she was a fresh breath of air in what has been a difficult season for the restaurant industry. Not only was she attentive to our needs, but she also had a great attitude and a very friendly personality that made us feel at home. I watched her interact in a very positive way with what looked like half of the restaurant she was waiting on. I'll be back. Nothing great about this place. I believe you can smoke inside so the first thing that hits you is the abundant cigarette smell. We ordered crawfish and they were okay. Not amazing but not nasty either. I ordered 3 extra potatoes to come with the crawfish and they literally slice small potatoes into 4s and each slice is considered 1 potato. She insulted me and hung up in my face. I called back and she was rude as hell. I told her my situation and her response was merely, you people always call and say your order is wrong. I called to inform them of the error with my order and the phone was passed to a different young lady. Because she was handed the phone, my sentiments was that she was management. Wendy told me that I should have w been smart enough to know that she was a 16 year old girl. I asked her how would I know? I even expressed that I lived in the neighborhood and come there often, Wendy told me that she didn't care. Be careful when visiting here. Great service with a loud and energeric atmopshere. Definitely a sports bar place and all that come with that. But the food was good and the service was great! Gonna go back and try the crawfish next time, huge platters kept coming out of the kitchen and they looked amazing. I had the blackened salmon and my hubby had the chicken fried chicken.
