An Italian restaurant is attached, but not sure about breakfast options. Large free parking in parking lot across street so if you have a trailer, shouldn't be a problem. Reasonably priced, but some high additional fees. Definitely worth the stay.

To their credit, they did warn us that the older electrical circuits might cause occasional flickering lights. What we didn't expect: Lights turning on and off by themselves. The television powering on in the middle of the night. Bed sheets being pulled off us while we slept. Feeling as if I was being touched and it wasn't my husband. The paranormal energy was far more intense than we'd anticipated--and ultimately, we decided to cut our trip short. Other concerns: The pool was dirty, and while breakfast was tasty, it was surprisingly sparse. As someone who's stayed in many bed and breakfasts, this was the first time I've encountered a buffet-style setup with no table settings, no water service, and a limited selection. We left both hungry and unnerved. Speaking with locals we learned that stories abound about hauntings in Gonzales.

Seemed like she was having immense trouble grasping small details around fraudulent credit card use. I then ask for the manager's number and Kylie provides me with A FAX MACHINE NUMBER, lol.... wow.... I'm working with customer service to ensure this fraudulent hotel does not plan to repeat their crime in my name again. DON'T STAY HERE.

We went downstairs and Vanessa quickly tried to remedy the situation by offering another room. Only problem is that the replacement room only had a sofa sleeper, not another bed for our 10 year old son. We went to check that room and the sofa bed was FILTHY and full of stains. My son looked very sad when we tried to convince him to sleep on it. After seeing the overall lack of cleanliness, dirty doors, sofas and carpet, we decided not to stay in this hotel. Vanessa was very apologetic and promised a refund early next day so we left. That didn't happen. I contacted Expedia to intervene and a Mr. Kamit Basil (manager at Microtel) responded saying that the room they had offered us didn't have a broken sink or clogging toilet. He provided Expedia with a video of a DIFFERENT room!! Mr. Basil was argumentative and combative and said he would do his own investigation. I call and they cancelled it and immediately charged my card. I thought it couldn't be cancelled. I still could have came and checked in but now my reservation is cancelled in their system when they said they couldn't cancel. Thirsty for $100 but will lose 1000's for me or my colleagues never staying here again!! Just lost a bunch of money over $100. Smh
