The amount of problems in this place that I've spent two years correcting and spending money on because of incompetence is disgusting. "The lights worked when I was there". BS. It took an electrician 20 minutes to figure out why the lights didn't work. They didn't work because the wires weren't attached to the switch inside the wall. I'm no electrician Brad, but the wires don't magically come off the switch in the middle of the night. "Garage doors worked when I was there". It was totally broken. There's another $6000 in repairs and replacement. The lint traps in the attic were so overfilled that another company said "this is one of the worst jobs that we have ever seen". Followed by "one spark and this place would have burned to the ground". Thanks for the guidance on that. I've reported him before to the state and he offered my money back to get off of the hook. I didn't take it. At this point it's not about money, it's principle. The company failed. And I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Up front the cost for the inspection was about $730 which we felt was a steal for the peace of mind we received. Our inspection included interior and exterior review, wood insects, water fixtures, heating fixtures, attic, basement, and radon. All reports except radon were delivered just hours after inspection and radon promptly at the 24h mark. We are in the process of purchasing a very old home, Alan arrived much ahead of schedule (on incredibly short notice by the way) and conducted a full exterior inspection before we arrived for our scheduled time, he was friendly, enthusiastic and at every step explained not only what he was looking for, but the current situation and offered suggestions on replacements and repairs we could make along the way. Alan made us aware that he specializes in homes as old as ours was and offered incredible insight on what we can expect, what was normal for the time, improvements, etc. and offered to answer questions past our inspection which was so very thoughtful. We had a million and one places we could pick for a home inspection but Tiger was the first one we picked back in 2019 and have no inclination to change.
