Today ( July 5, 2021) Bob's crew installed the new roof in one day. The other roofs were removed and cleanup was fine. A good roofing company can be hard to find, though the other two companies that gave us bids seemed fine. But Bob did something extremely rare. His company called and told us most of the plywood we had was still good. Our final bill was $2500 less than the original estimate. Bob could have taken the new plywood back, charged me for it, and I would never have known the difference. Instead he displayed the highest level of integrity, so I recommend him as highly as possible.

On July 25, 2026, I hired Fred Stinard of Fred Stinard Inspections to perform a crawl-space…read moreinspection at my home in Milford, CT, to verify encapsulation work. I paid $225 in cash for the inspection. Mr. Stinard repeatedly told me that he would provide a written inspection report. I followed up with him multiple times, and each time I was led to believe that the report would be provided. Despite those repeated assurances, I never received the report. He ultimately stopped responding to my texts altogether. After being repeatedly ignored, I sent a certified written demand requesting the report. That letter also went unanswered. I also checked the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection's licensing records and found that license number HOI.0000921 was not valid on the date of my inspection. As of the date of this review, the license still shows as invalid. This is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I paid for an inspection and was repeatedly promised a written report, but received neither the report nor any meaningful communication afterward. The fact that I had to repeatedly chase a professional for something I had already paid for--and was ultimately ghosted--is unacceptable. I am posting this review so prospective customers can make an informed decision. I strongly recommend verifying the inspector's current Connecticut license status before hiring and getting all promised services and deliverables clearly documented in writing.

Said they will show up but I'm not holding my breathe. I started researching chimney masons. Too bad because they are pleasant on the phone but Noel has been using the same roof job excuse for months. I just saw a roof go up in my neighborhood in 2 days. Maybe I will call them for an estimate. Update...I'm changing to 4 stars from 1. Friday 3/15/24 I received a call from Noel that the worker, Anthony, was in my driveway. It was scheduled for Monday. I received no courtesy call changing the day and keeping me posted. I'm taking a star off for their scheduling issues. Anthony gets 5 stars. They are lucky they have a knowledgeable worker. He is great. I would recommend but will add to keep calling if scheduling an appointment.

I am a first time home buyer so I had no idea what the inspection entails. However, Eric took the time to talk to me on the phone, explain the process, and answered all my "silly" questions. Now, when it came time to the inspection. Eric arrived on time and was the utmost professional. He answered all my questions and pointed it out a couple things. The coolest thing is that he has a drone that he uses to take high res pictures of the roof. It really have me a good idea of roof condition and any potential issues on the roof.
