It fit so well for the wedding and was very comfortable all day. AH-mazing work and will definitely be using them for any future hemming or alteration needs that I may have in the future.

The problem has always been reliability. I've made countless wasted trips because my alterations weren't finished when promised. Today was the last straw. I waited an extra three weeks beyond the promised date. After waiting more than 30 minutes for him to return to the shop, I learned my clothes still hadn't been altered. Instead of apologizing, he said, "I'm 70 and I don't give an F." That ended it for me. Especially since he likely isn't even doing most of the tailoring himself anymore. No amount of talent justifies broken promises and disrespect toward loyal customers.

ATTN: Do not go here!!!!…read more I bought my dress for my friends wedding, in which i am the MOH, at A Little Something White in Darien right down the road from this tailor. They said that they were too busy with bridal dresses that i should probably go to a local place because i only needed minor adjustments. They told me about Giovanni and so i took my dress to him. The dress fit me beautifully as it was- the only thing i needed was the cups sown in and for it to fit a little tighter at the top. I went back in and he RUINED my dress. The cups were sown in too high at the top so they weighed down the top of the dress, he sowed in the liner to tight so now the straps were falling off me AND one of the straps was 1/2 inch shorter than the other!!! A DISASTER! The back looks horrendous now and is popping open. To top it off when i tried the dress on and said something does not fit right- he started yelling at me- saying he didn't touch the straps! He didn't even offer to fix it or give me a refund. I was so upset in tears, i paid and walked out. Hopefully the seamstress at A Little Something White can salvage this dress. I'm in $300 now, and cannot wear the dress as it is now because it is falling off of me. BEWARE of this guy!!! It's not worth it!!! I could have done a better job with safety pins. He must have had his eyes closed when sowing- how could a professional not measure the straps!!! If i could give no stars i would. Don't go here!
