I need one dress repaired and another altered. I have been calling this business during posted business hours for two weeks. The phone either rings endlessly or a recording says the voicemail is full. So I decided to go to the business during their posted hours with the understanding that I may have to make an appointment to return for my alterations. Unfortunately, I waited 15 minutes past opening hours and no one ever showed up. This business is very unprofessional and unreliable. In the end, I'm relieved I wasn't able to leave my garments with them, because who knows if I would have been able to get them back. read more

Macriz was recommended to me by my coworker after i needed a dress altered for a wedding back in May (wedding was in June). I went over, she was very nice and professional, and the work was perfect. I have another wedding in FIVE DAYS and after falling in love with a different dress, if i had any chance of wearing it to the wedding i was hoping she would work a miracle and have it into me by then. When i told her that i really really hoped she could rush it for me, she didnt seemed troubled at all and said she would get it to me in THREE DAYS, even though her other coworker said they had a big job to do. I felt really bad and said id pay whatever rush fee there was!! She waved me off and said she'd get it to me by Friday with a smile. I will definitely be recommending her to everyone! I will admit, I was a little skeptical of the bare store, which seemed to very sleepy. But, I gave it a chance on my Maid of Honor dress due to lack of time, and convenient location. And I am so glad I did. First, she put me in the dress and pinned it all so that it would fit just perfectly. And it did - she even had to change the zipper but you could not tell, at all. Thanks to Macriz, my dress fit, and stayed on, the entire wedding reception. Second, she even had it cleaned for me! So convenient so I could just pick it up and go to the wedding. I will definitly be back for any other alterations, and recommend to friends, without question. read more

I wouldn't give this place not even 1 star but it's required with this post so I guess I have to for the safe of warning everyone of the type of service this place provides. The worst service ever! The owner kept telling me she was too busy to do the the work, but I am a client and do not want to hear that the owner and workers are too busy to provide me with service. Staff seemed very disinterested in greeting people that walked through their door. I never experienced such rudeness and unfriendly attitude in Springdale like this before until I walked into this store. Please stay away from this store. read more

I've bought three dresses here in the last year; two that needed simple hemming to shorten and one that didn't fit me at all and basically needed to be remade entirely. I work in the area and needed a bridesmaids dress altered for a Labor Day weekend wedding in 2016. I checked reviews on Yelp and stumbled upon MacRiz based on the great reviews. I brought my dress to MacRiz for alterations in early August. They have a single person fitting room in the back where you can try on your dress so the seamstress can see you in your dress and help you figure out what needs to be fixed. I brought my shoes with me also because I knew this would help the alteration process be as accurate as possible. I was asked when I needed the dress by and I told them two weeks and my dress was ready in 2 weeks as promised. I didn't have to pay until I picked up my dress. The cost for alterations was $45 which was reasonable for getting the dress taken up a few inches. read more

Took my jean skirt here because it was huge at the waist but perfect around my hips and she did a wonderful job! So happy I didn't return it and took it to get altered instead. I have been going to Maria for over seven years for tailoring after another tailor butchered a favorite D&G skirt. Wow, she is amazing. All of my suits and gowns always come back perfect. She really understands how a garment should be structured and how to stitch. I've never had occasion to commission a gown, but I have seen special-order gowns hanging in the shop and they are gorgeous. I highly recommend her. read more

Maria is the best of the best! When my daughter got married, all of the bridesmaids had their gowns altered by Maria; nine in all! The fittings were seamless (no pun intended) - every dress came out to perfection and on time in spite of some of the girls coming last minute from other states and country. After seeing these reviews, I made an appointment for a last minute bridesmaid dress hem for my brother's wedding, and I came in that same day. Maria is the sweetest lady. My wedding reception dress just need about 5" hem in the front. She made it so beautifully to be at the right length and gradually longer at the back. Exactly how I want it to be. And the price is super affordable compared to other alteration places. read more

I went to Maria for my sisters bridesmaid dress alterations 9 months ago. She is very nice to work with. Even though it was during wedding season and we only had few days before the wedding, she accomodated my sister as I went to her in advance and she did a beautiful job with the dress. I went to her again when I had to alter my own bridesmaid dress for another wedding and she did a great job with the dress. Her prices are reasonable and she knows what she's doing. read more
