First, let me say that I HATE writing negative things about anyone's business. Good reviews are…read morenot only about delivering a product, but equally important is the customer service that goes with it. On the day I originally spoke with Jim about replacing a water heater (8/7/2018), we were back and forth all day on the phone. The next day which was to be the installation day, we also texted/talked several times. He kept saying he was still coming into the evening and arrived around 11:00 p.m. He had agreed that at the end of the job, he would remove the old water heater from the premises. (And isn't that standard procedure for professional contractors to pick up after themselves anyway?) I was not on-site when they were done(12:30 a.m.) but he texted me a picture that he had completed the job. He had collected the money prior to the work. It was my disabled son's house and he did not go into the basement to check anything. He was so grateful about them coming out at such an inopportune time that he foolishly offered Jim a $100 tip which was accepted. When I went down in the basement the next day, I was shocked to see that the old heater AND the carton from the new one had not been removed. OF COURSE, my attempts to contact Jim by text/phone calls went unanswered for more than 24 hours. Long story short.... today is 22 days later and at least two time frames have been agreed upon only to find that Jim is a no-show/no-call. He has given personal health problems and logistics as reasons why it is so difficult for him to complete his part of the agreement. The $100 tip would have more than covered someone else removing this heavy object and large box from the basement. I am left wondering if ALL customers have this problem with him, or is it only the ones in certain towns, which I won't name? I even let him know yesterday that I would review his service with 2 stars, but I guess he could not care less....no response. Will ABSOLUTELY NOT use this company again.......I am one disgruntled senior citizen of color! Thank goodness, the heater works!!!

Danny was excellent! Our water heater died over the weekend, so I had a day-and-a-half to educate…read moremyself on water heaters. On Sunday and Monday morning I started calling plumbing contractors and companies in our area. All the companies I called charged, what I felt were, incredibly high prices for the unit and the install...until I called dFlo. Danny has an A rating on Angie's list, and he sounded like a good plumber to me, so I called him. His prices were extremely fair and definitely more in line with what my husband and I had thought we should pay for the water heater and the install. Our house needed a 50,000 BTU, 50 gallon natural gas water heater with a power vent, so my husband and I knew the unit would be expensive up-front; I had researched and had seen various unit prices online. Danny got us a great unit (same one some of the expensive companies were going to put in), the right size, with the specs we needed and wanted, he installed it the same day, and he was extremely professional, detailed, courteous, and focused. I saved hundreds of dollars (between $370 and $800 when compared with the quotes I had gotten from other plumbing companies in the area) by going with dFlo for our water heater and installation, and the unit is perfect! When the other companies tell you, "that's just the going rate for the type of water heater you need with the install," don't buy what they're saying or their products and services. They tell you what they do because they want to convince you to spend more than you have to spend. Bottom line: Go with dFlo Plumbing! And, thank you, Danny!
