Our breakfast was very good! We went at the end of a weekend of snowmobiling. As recommended by others on yelp we tried the pancakes and the hot maple syrup. Yes the pancakes are flat. But they are delicious! I also tried the banana bread French toast which was very tasty, but heavy! I ordered two pieces but one was more than sufficient. We chatted with the owner while we were there and found out that they try to use mostly locally grown/raised products. Bonus! read more

I adore Wolf Pack. We make it a point to come here every single time we are in the area. The food is amazing, the service is fast and friendly, and while it is small, the restaurant is cozy and inviting, so much nicer than some of the other places in the area (St. Germain). The owner personally greets everyone at the door, does a wonderful job of keeping track of everyone who is waiting, and does a great job getting everyone in to eat. The pancakes are wonderful, and try as I might, I can't replicate them at home. As big as a plate, thin, crispy at the edges but tender in the center, and taste great. A couple helpful tips: -Building is small so come early or be ready to wait a little (lots of seats outside to wait) -Everyone from your group must be there before they will seat your party. -They only accept cash (I think checks as well)- no credit cards read more

There are a lot of good restaurants and a few great Northwoods places to eat, but after exhaustive searching, "The Wolf Pack Cafe" is my #1 choice. First great food, especially the Perch special - wow! But after dozens of meals there, its the consistency that is their key. Whether they're 12 deep waiting to get in and open for seating, I always get eh same great quality. Anywhere else I'm too impatient to wait 20, 40 or more minutes to sit - at the WP, we pull up an outdoor seat and talk to people who all know of this secret gem. Kathy & Joe make you feel like you're with family and the wait staff, Barb, Tammy, etc. just continue that feeling of home, not just a business. I wish them all well while Covid keeps me from our favorite place in the Northwoods. Hope to see you soon. read more

Always delicious! Always friendly! Almost always busy, but worth waiting for!! A spot that is now synonymous for me with family breakfasts while visiting the Northwoods. Can't wait for my next visit! read more

Ate there again and it was outstanding! My friend had the brisket which he has now had several times. Great service, great breakfasts.

This review is about service not their food as I wasn't allowed to try it. So due to the influx of increasing COVID cases in WI we wanted to get food to go. They had their menu online which some in the area don't have. We called and were told that we could not order as they had too long of a wait list in house. They turned down business. We were fine waiting to come get our food but weren't even given that option. read more

I can only base this review on one breakfast here. Cute place, very small, very friendly and prompt servers. That right there is enough to make me come back - good service. S.O. had the homemade corned beef hash and called it some of the best he'd ever had (and he's had a lot!). I had cranberry pancake (one), which was huge. I have to disagree that these are some of the best pancakes ever, because the flat, thin cake for me rated as one of the weakest I'd ever had. Boo. Bacon is very good here - thick and meaty, not thin and greasy like many diners. We'll go back. Great, extensive menu and interesting breakfast choices. read more

What this place lacks in space, it makes up for in quality food and friendly down home service. I was seated at the bar and had a tough decision about which of the menu items to select. Lots of good options, but I settled on a burger. HUGE. If you're not that hungry they offer a smaller size, which is what I should have opted for, but I enjoyed every bite. Perfectly cooked, fresh bun and home cut fries with some mandarin orange slices to top off the meal. Get there early or you may wait, but if you're solo, bar seating could get you seated more quickly. Enjoy! read more

The Wolf Pack is a popular spot. The food is delicious. On my last visit, my family had HUGE scrumptious pancakes which they loved. I had a hashbrown sandwich with egg and cheese and toast on the side. (But what was the name of it?) It was sooo good. We were seated comfortably and enjoyed the artwork on the walls featuring beautiful wolves. read more

We've been going here for years. They have the best breakfasts in the north woods. One tip... In the summer get there early!

Very good food, not your normal breakfast and just a little pricy. But you should go! Worth every penny! read more

You can't beat this place for breakfast! Something for everyone. I love the eggs benedict, kids love the pancakes and French toast. This is a must stop every time we come up north. Doesn't matter if it is off season or during tourist time, you will always get great food and friendly smiles from the staff!! read more

Small but wonderful food. Six of us ate here for lunch, some had the "all day breakfast" choices and some of us had lunch. Everyone to a person had a GREAT meal. I think they are only open until about 2....but it's worth the stop. read more

A true gem in the Northwoods! This quaint diner is a favorite breakfast location for us. The pancakes are fantastic and I definitely recommend the "Joe's Special Breakfast"! For the health conscious, the Wolf Pack Cafe offers a veggie omelette that can be made with organic egg whites upon request. Add a bowl of fruit for a small up charge and you have a breakfast made for a king! Great service and food! A definite stop if you're in the area!!! read more

Wolf Pack Cafe - Organic egg white veggie omelette and fresh fruit - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Saint Germain, Wisconsin

The breakfast here is amazing! We frequent the northwoods from Minneapolis and would prefer no other place for a great balance between a hearty egg or pancake meal-or even a lighter yogurt parfait! Not only is the food worth the visit, but the employees and owners are so nice. They actually stayed open for us to finish our meal one day without making us feel uncomfortable at all-they just wanted to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere is that of a small town diner, while the food continues to bring us back every time we come up! Just be prepared to wait as this gem is noteworthy and frequently visited by both locals and visitors. read more

Just a tip in this review: order at least two pancakes. They look huge but are thin (and delicious).

Been here many times over the years for breakfast with my family while on vacation. Love the hashbrown sandwich and many enjoy the large chocolate chip pancakes. It is always crowded so get up there early!!! read more

We tried Wolf Pack because we heard they had the best pancakes in town... And they sure do! My fiancé had the pancakes and I tried the banana but bread French toast. Out of this world, definitely recommend! A must before heading to the St. Germain flea market! read more

Quick service great breakfast. Pancakes were tasty and coffee was very good. Joe's breakfast special is recommended and would order again. Not many tables, but fast service. read more

The WolfPack is a favorite for breakfast whenever we are in the northwoods. The pancakes are always excellent. Crispy around the edges and delicious when combined with cranberries. We enjoy the winter and find it much easier to get in with no wait. Service is great. Place is small but very clean and pleasant. Haven't had lunch there but saw the meatloaf going to another table and made a mental note to try it next time. read more

This place is cramped and crowded for breakfast. The food quality is good. Their pancakes are really special and delicious. And expensive for pancakes. And f you want maple syrup, add another dollar. They rush you here. It's subtle, but they definitely want you out after they take your money, so they can take someone else's money. I couldn't get more coffee after asking twice. Finally I took the hint. They want you out! Good food. But I wouldn't go back. read more

This is a must stop for us any time we are in the vicinity of St. Germain. Though the place maybe small and busy, it is totally worth the wait! If you get there early enough you will be seated right away. Everything that we have tried there has been excellent, and the coffee is always flowing. We love that they had space for us to leave all of our snowmobile gear, as well as parking across the road for our sleds. Trust me, you will not be disappointed! The "special"which I believe is called the Joes special on the menu (can't quite remember off the top of my head) is the best breakfast I've ever had. You can buy the cool mugs as well! read more

This place is a family favorite, everyone gets out of bed to go to Wolfpack. My personal favorite is Joe's breakfast, but you really can't go wrong. The burst of berries pancake is not to be missed, get one on the side and share with someone. They are perfectly crispy and fluffy at the same time. There will usually be a wait, but it is worth it. Once your seated the service is always fast and incredibly friendly. read more

What an amazing little cafe with great food! We had he pan fried perch and corned beef hash. We were not disappointed. They have real maple syrup and proudly serve MIke and Diane's Ring of Fire hot sauce. If your in the area, this place is a must eat at establishment. Arrive early or expect a wait. read more

The breakfast is quite delicious to say the least and u can never go wrong with peanut butter chocolate chip or banana pancakes! I would have given this a 5 star review but I had a mishap with a waitress who told me I couldn't bring in my bottle of water. She said people make a living off of purchasing drinks at the store which is understandable. She then told me she couldn't give me a to go box for my pancakes, but the manager gave to me instead. Strange day but great food read more

Great little place for breakfast or lunch; good food and great service at this usually crowded eatery in the heart of St Germain. You will wait for a table, so be prepared! read more

I love their pancakes, the crispy edge of the pancake just adds something special to it. My husband always gets the pan fried perch breakfast, and it never disappoints. This place is a must for breakfast. Get there early or be prepared to wait! read more

Love this place. Great hot chocolate in darling little mugs (I bought 2) enjoyed Cathy's special omelette- nice to have lots of fresh veggies . Pancakes are good, French style, big and thin. read more

This place isn't bad, but it's nothing special either. The food is ok. Mandarins are served as a side instead of fries (which are extra) but they come out of a can, not fresh. They have jam packed the tables right on top of one another so that it is extremely claustrophobic. It also took 2 asking and about 10 minutes just to get the check. read more

One of the best breakfast meals I've had in a long time. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was fabulous! Definitely recommend it to anyone in the area :) read more

Best breakfast in the northwoods! Quaint diner, expect a wait during busier seasons, but well worth it! Service is fast and friendly. I love their pancakes, especially the burst a berry; thin and true to the name! Another favorite is the hash brown sandwich (1/2 order) with bacon or, on the weekends, the perch special! They have nice lighter options too, fruit, yogurt and granola. And don't forget the pie...banana cream, coconut cream, strawberry rhubarb, etc. read more

Great atmosphere. Enjoyed the hashbrowns, pancakes, and coffee. Would not recommend the brisket.. Was dry and tasteless.

Wolf pack has very good food and friendly service to boot:). The tuna melt was amazing and the darn good soup is "darn good"

Wolf Pack Cafe advertises that, once upon a time, it was declared Restaurant of the Month by some organization dedicated to promoting local enterprises. In this part of the country, that could be damning with faint praise. But Wolf Pack lives up to that billing and more. There is a good reason why you almost always need to wait for a table. And a better reason to cheerfully accept that wait. The food and atmosphere for breakfast are top notch. Wolf Pack is worth a drive from Eagle River, Woodruff or Minocqua. The Cafe focuses on the freshness and quality of its ingredients, and you can taste the impact. Breakfasts are top quality, whether you are interested in an omelet, the stunning array of pancakes, french toast or some more adventurous combination. The corned beef hash is amongst the best I have had. Teamed with the berries and yogurt parfait, it remains my favorite day starter. The atmosphere is pleasantly kitsch, playing off the north woods wolf pack theme down to the paw prints embedded into the entryway concrete. But it is the food that makes this joint's word go round! It takes a lot to turn breakfast into a experience. Wolf Pack delivers. read more

They really have the worlds best pancake. Owners are first class. You will not find a better place to eat breakfast. read more

Best breakfast spot in St. Germain but get there early as it is a small place and fills quickly. Food and service are top notch!

Amazing food and super friendly staff! Prepare for a wait during busy times, but the food is well worth the wait! I LOVE their world famous pancakes. My husband has tried many of the breakfast and lunch items and has never been disapointed. Daily specials are amazing, all food cooked fresh and delicious every time. read more
