Best local breakfast spot! My family vacations in the area every summer and the Wolf Pack is one of our go-to spots for breakfast. The pancakes cover the whole plate and are delicious. My personal favorite is the Western omelet and hash browns, of course with a coffee in their signature mugs! You can buy the mugs as well which is a fun keepsake. Because it's a local favorite there can be a bit of a wait but it's well worth it, and they have benches and plastic chairs out front for people to use while they wait. read more

Walked in around 11am. There was a wait but probably only around 30 min. We sat at the counter and the servers were super nice and great service. Filled my water cup multiple times. Pancake was soooo good. Only complaint is for the price of sausage ($3 or $4 dollars) I thought I would get more than one sausage. Would definitely go again! read more

Genuinely my favorite breakfast spot ever. The pancakes are one of a kind. The Timberwolf sandwich on a croissant is perfect and you can get a bunch of different protein options. Kathy and Joe are two of the nicest people I know, and Joe makes the best pancakes! The ambiance is perfect. Small with great and personable service. I recommend this place any time I get the chance! read more

Found this place on Yelp and we were traveling. 5 stars !! It was a very small place but they were bustling at the seams and the staff were on top of everything. It was the best breakfast I have had in a long time. Steamed veggies for breakfast? Yum. Scrambled eggs were out of this world and I would love to know their secret recipe for them. The cinnamon bread was delicious. They also had t shirts for sale as well as mugs. If we ever travel that way again we will definitely stop again. So delicious. read more

Love, love this place. At Wolf Pack they are definitely about Peace, Love and Pancakes. You come out to St. Germain for the peace that the Northwoods bring and they put a whole lot of love in their pancakes. Don't take my word for it, come try it for yourself. You won't regret it. The staff and owners are so sweet and make you feel welcomed, the food is NEVER disappointing. A great atmosphere too. So head over there soon! read more

Best breakfast in northern woods. Servers are very nice and accommodating. Pancakes are great. It's tough to find good food up here. This place is great. read more

THE BEST We've been coming to wolf pack for decades. It can get super busy and they don't take reservations, so we always try to get there by 8am. The service is amazing. We've always had great interactions with everyone in there. The pancakes are huge and thin with butter-crisped edges. I've had banana, chocolate chip, and burst of berry. All of the egg combos are great. Their whole wheat toast is from a bakery in Eagle River and it's delicious. My dad loves the biscuits and gravy with scrambled egg on top. The full portion is enormous, so there's a half portion option as well. On the weekends they have a pan-fried perch that's really good blackened. I enjoy the bottomless coffee. The hot chocolate comes with a giant pile of whipped cream. read more

A great place for breakfast. Small but cozy. The staff all worked as a team and were quick and very friendly. Something that is very hard to find when you go out anymore. The food was good and they had a large menu. They had the cutest coffee cups too! I was excited to find out that they sell them... now to choose from the many colors. I definitely recommend this cafe. read more

Wolf Pack Cafe - Eggs, toast, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and coffee! The coffee mug makes it! I had to buy one! - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Saint Germain, Wisconsin

Wow! Go here now! These people hustle!!!! From the great menu to all the souvenir clay mugs you can buy, this place is it. Hubby got the Joes breakfast special which had their amazing sausage gravy on top. I'm still thinking about the gravy. Mmm. I had some very fluffy scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon and an English muffin on side. My husband shared his sausage gravy with me so I put it on my English muffin. They leave coffee carafes at your table so you can always have hot coffee in their cute clay mugs. We sat at the counter and got to talking to the owner who was super friendly! Definitely going back when in town! Next time we are gonna try lunch. I even bought myself one of their mugs. PEACE.LOVE & PANCAKES BABY!!! :P read more

Delicious biscuits and gravy!! Super nice waiters and waitresses. Would recommend this restaurant

We've stopped at the Wolf Pack Cafe for years when vacationing in St Germain. Always had great breakfasts in the past. Today we had a disappointment in their food prep. I decided to try their mixed berry pancakes with real maple syrup. The two pancakes were undercooked in the center and were mushy and pasty. Raw pancake batter. My wife's omelet was also slightly undercooked. They offered to replace the pancakes and did reduce the pancake price to one pancake. I passed on the order replacement offer because I lost my desire to eat anything else from their current cook. Also not very apologetic about the undercooked food experience. read more

Excellent service and food. We learned about it from a local and we loved it. I had the Sunday special, shrimp creole over poached eggs. Holy crap was that good. The family shared a plate sized chocolate chip pancake. It was buttery and thin. It tasted different from most pancakes I've had before. We all liked it. My little one had the yogurt parfait and was nice enough to let me try some (sooooo good). The hubs had a vegetarian omelet and said it was much fresher than any other omelette he's every had. The oldest kiddo had bacon and eggs and she gobbled them up. We all highly recommend the place. We arrived at 7:30 am and it was already packed. The line to get in wasn't too bad when we left. The waitresses were hustling to get everyone seated. They were very attentive and friendly. read more

Get here early or be prepared to wait outside but believe me, it's well worth the wait. Famous for their pancakes, you really need to make sure you order at least one. They are thin, as big as the plate and have a crispy edge that really sets them a part. That being said, they have fantastic food. Today, I had the spinach, bacon and cheese omelette (with onions added) and it was out of this world. The egg itself was perfectly prepared; not over cooked or brown (I know people can go either way in this but I really REALLY dislike browned omelettes. To me that means they were cooked too hot and for too long and they get tough...boo). Each bite was full my selected ingredients and layered to perfection. Delicious. You won't be disappointed with anything here. read more

Excellent breakfast!! So happy we check out this restaurant last time we visited in the north woods. Friendly service, reasonable prices. They have featured French toast and the bread is homemade. The pancakes are unique. Very thin, but huge! And super tasty. I tried the corned beef hash which was wonderful. If you are in the area check them out! read more

It doesn't get any better than this. Usually crowded, and sometimes you have to wait. Why? Because the food is excellent. Try the pancakes ... I've never had any that were better ... anywhere. Including the ones I make myself. read more

Great local breakfast spot. Solid coffee and amazing pancakes. The sausage patties look like nothing special but they were also very tasty. I had the peanut butter and banana pancakes. They didn't even need any syrup. They have good wifi as well. I would pass on the biscuits and gravy. Thick gravy but didn't really like the flavor of it. They all can't be winners. They are also taking the covid precautions to heart. I watch them disinfect each table as it was being turned over. read more

A must stop when up north! Gets very busy in season so wait times can be long so go early if you can. Best breakfast around and if you don't order at least one pancake you are missing out. By far the best pancakes I've ever had. They should sell it in a mix!! My only issue with the whole setup is how small and cramped it gets. They really should think about expanding. read more

Practicing social distancing service with outdoor and indoor tables. Friendly staff and our waitress Beth was very helpful with menu questions. My husband and I enjoyed a shared omelette to save room for their amazing pancakes! Real maple syrup and a variety of fillings inside thin, crispy pancakes, unlike any we'd ever tried. A must to return for more on our short visit Up North! read more

My family and I tried during the summer to go here for breakfast, but there was always a huge crowd. We were in town over Thanksgivingving weekend and decided to give it a try again. We lucked out and got a table this time. It's a small restaurant, but you by no means feel cramped. Food was delicious. I had scramble eggs with bacon, American fries, and toast. Wife and daughter both had pancakes which were also delicious. My son had a breakfast sandwich on a croissant along with hot apple cider. All enjoyed their meals. Staff was very friendly. This is definitely a great place to enjoy breakfast. read more

This little cafe packs a big punch. We were there on a Sunday, and the place was busy, but the wait was less than 30 minutes and definitely worth it. Wow!! This place still rocks!! I looked back and saw that I hadn't written a review of this place. Shame on me. The food has always been incredible. Their beef tip omelette is magnificent. Well flavored and tender beef. The American fried potatoes are a treat. Like pancakes? You need to try theirs. Kind of crepe like but with a crunchy fried edge. Lacy. Edges. I dream about these pancakes. I've had plain, chocolate chip, burst of berries, and pumpkin spice (stuffed with actual pumpkin), and that buttery, crispy edge really sets these apart from any other pancake I've had. This is a wonderful old-fashioned breakfast/lunch place. Half of us ordered breakfast and half ordered lunch. My 6 year old loved the chocolate waffles and my 8 year old daughter enjoyed her grilled cheese sandwich and devoured her onion rings. What we've never had a bad experience well maybe once we did have a long wait but that's because we had a large party. This is a very small Cafe with about 12 tables. I did go with everyone suggestion to have the pancakes and yes they were delicious I had the blueberry pancakes I went with two which was a little crazy since they are the size of a plate. The ladies that work there have always been there as long as we've been going they are very pleasant and efficient. This place this place is definitely a must do when you are in st-germain. I do look forward to someday having lunch there since they are not open much past lunch time. read more

My favorite St. Germain spot is closed Weds so we landed at our 2nd choice ... My water glass was very dirty when we sat down, so I should have known it wasn't my day. My husband liked his (very fresh) veggie omelet ... but my raspberry pancake was gooey with batter/not cooked through so had to go back, thus my husband had to keep going. My eggs got cold...etc. No particular apology she just wisked it off. I thought maybe it was to minimize to other diners that there is an issue. The eggs were well cooked but had been put onto a wet plate (I guess) so they sat in water. You can usually count on a special of the day but not the case. Side note: The waitresses were curiously loud and laughing amongst themselves and while not especially attentive when you're eating, shout out greetings to those who arrive and depart. It seemed welcoming on arrival, but seemed more like a skit by the time we left (who could shout louder as they laugh it up). read more

Top notch small town breakfast restaurant. It was right across the street from our hotel, Hearthside Inn. We gave it a shot and were not disappointed. The employees and owner are all very friendly. The food was great, the service was stellar, and we couldn't leave without buying one of their porcelain mugs. Just a heads up: they don't accept credit cards. Bring a personal check or cash. It's a minor inconvenience: banks love to charge fees on small businesses like this, so I can't hold it against 'em. read more
