Busy location putting out delicious…read moresandwiches, parking can be a challenge because it is right behind Community Memorial Hospital so you enter from the parking not from Loma Vista Street. Friendly efficient staff greeting all who walk through their door. Sandwiches were incredible, no skimping on Boars Head meats or ingredients and you get your moneys worth. Has some sit down dining inside but a great place to order ahead and pick up while you head to the beach. This is a must try and can't wait to go back and try some of the other great sanqweeches featured on the menu. Grazie Ventura Sandwich Co delizioso e tutti! Mangiamo

I clearly Said who I was with the first time, and I clearly stated what was ordered. The second time two days after , i tried the ham because it had a bad review the last time I came in. I wanted to try it, and give you the benefit of the doubt... so much for that, I mean how hard is it to screw up a boarshead meat sandwich? . Based on the 3 meat sandwiches last time, and the ones I saw being eaten while we were there, it definitely wasn't the usual meat. Or WAS IT???. BUT I EVEN took a picture of it. Just in case you came back and got rude in your response like you have in the past when you don't like when others don't leave you a good review. . We even came back in TODAY and wanted to give it ONE LAST TRY and so i ordered a hot Italian and it was LACKING meat and any flavor, the sandwich is literally the smallest SUB i have had in 37 years! . so Now. I will leave this a solid zero review.. So everyone can see what type of company you genuinely run... And you're the one who hires the staff, so any issues with customer service, food orep or Cleanliness is solely on the management

Sides, drinks and other food items are available in the mart as well. My fresh juicy burger was made to order with my specifications; cheese, lettuce, and sauce on a pita instead of a bun. Yep, so good!!! Don't sleep on the incredible international variety of snacks and sweets such as chocolates from England and chips from Japan. A plentiful variety of soda, water, beer, wine and liquor round out this food Mecca. Sorry folks, while the Harbor Mart shop is open Sunday-Saturday 8am-9pm, the deli hours are 10:00-6:30 Monday-Saturday. Although the deli is closed Sundays, there are still plenty of tasty foods and treats to meet your hunger. There's even an automated coffee machine if you're looking for a latte of a hot chocolate for the kids. Don't sleep on buying the hot dogs here, they are filling and OUTTA THIS WORLD!!!

We haven't been to this area in three years and they opened about three years ago so we have never tried it before But based on the reviews, we decided to stop in for lunch. The menu is divided between American offerings like hamburgers and some Mediterranean options as well as salads so a pretty good overall number of options. This is not only a restaurant, but it is also a market that has lots of Good selections and is quite nice. The service was amazing when I walked in the door one of the family members who owned the place greeted me personally showed me around and told me how the food ordering works. Nice seating outdoors and highly recommended place if you are in Ventura Harbor. Please support this family business is awesome.

My favorite breakfast and lunch spot in Ventura!…read more At this point, I think I've tried everything on the menu! I've even gotten to the point of creating my own little custom breakfast by combining different side dishes! All the fruit is fresh, the salads and sandwiches are big enough to share, and the coffee is good enough to get one to go for an afternoon pick me up (they close at 2pm). I love the high quality ingredients they use, from the eggs to the produce, nothing is industriel or pre-made. There is a parking lot in back, but during the weekday it's easy to park on the street.

This is the most joyous place - I'm in love!!…read more It's located in a business park. Street parking is easy. We checked in with the hostess and had a 15 minute wait. Once your seat is ready, you order at the counter and you get a number. The staff that took our order was awesome. Friendly, warm, high energy, and efficient. Our order came out in about 10-15 min. Water is self serve. Drip coffee- perfect and high quality. It tasted like Kona coffee! Lavender matcha- great and well balanced Japanese milk bread- this fell a tad short for me. I would've liked both sides to be seasoned/flavored. Japanese Milk bread is typically moist and fluffy , however this was a little dry likely due to the toasting of the bread. The color overall was lighter than expected. It's served with a berry sauce which is really yummy. Side of smashed potatoes- really good. Perfectly seasoned and ketchup tasted homemade Aussie meat pie- soooooo delicious! The crust was awesome and the meat was tender. We also loved the side salad because it had a little zing of lemon. A rare moment where a side salad is actually fantastic! Miso chicken katsu Sando- really loved this! The chicken breast is huge. As other reviews stated, it's not a typical chicken katsu. If you like honey, you'll like this. The honey sauce hits you on the front end and ends with a little acidity from the aioli and slaw. The sandwich was super juicy and flavorful. While large, it didn't feel heavy. Each bite got better and better. Brontë bowl - OUR FAVORITE!!!! Ok first off, I hate mushrooms with a passion, but I kept them in the order because they are curried and I knew theyre an essential part of the dish. They were awesome. I didn't mind them one bit. This dish does not need salmon, and if anything I think adding it would've been too salty. I naturally eat fast but this bowl makes you slow down because of the layers/elements. The sweetness of onions, the creaminess of the feta and avocado, the crunch from the seeds, the delicious pesto, the buttered bread, the perfectly poached eggs - UGH! So perfect! Everything had a purpose. I am obsessed with this bowl. It is so much more filling than you'd think. I could eat this everyday and I hope they never change it. Ambiance was great. We sat at the bar which felt spacious. The inside is gorgeous and just puts you in a good mood. The best thing about this place is the staff. Literally every single person we interacted with was amazing! Everyone here is friendly, warm, and just looks happy to be there. I can't wait to return!!!!!

Lofi Smoke and Grill is the BEST BBQ in Ventura County hands down. For so many years I'd been eager…read moreto find a spot that truly served up 5 star BBQ and after trying a few spots I was disappointed and the hunt continued. Thankfully due to a supper club hosted by Yelp Central Coast I was finally able to try them and I fell in love. Lofi was everything I had been searching for and then some. Fast forward to them being on my mind for months I had the opportunity to give them another try at one of their pop up events. The lines proved that everyone in the community loves Lofi as much as me! Family owned and operated this business is all about good vibes, teaching others about west coast bbq, their love for feeding their community and no ego. Steve and the family truly want you to have a wonderful experience and make you feel at home both with their kindness and the food that they put on your plate. Supporting them in this bbq community has been a refreshing experience as they are so kind and open to feedback. I love that they have fun pop ups opposed to a standard brick and mortar. They chose this because they truly want their bbq to be accessible and available to those that don't always have the opportunity to try them. They definitely give back to their community and supporting them is a win for our small but mighty 805 community. Okay now on to the food! Claiming anything is the "best" in the 805 is a bold move but I stand behind the flavors and complexity that Lofi brings to the table. West Coast BBQ makes me feel proud to be from CA as I've had bbq all over the states and they are doing us proud here. They have a killer bbq sauce that's the perfect mix of sweet and savory. Their meats and proteins are always cooked to perfection and juicy! My two favorite meats they do hands down is their 1. Brisket and 2. Pulled Pork. Their brisket is so flavorful and I love the little bit of fattiness that comes through. Also having never been a pulled pork girl, Lofi changed the game for me - so good and the flavors are on point. Another bite worth mentioning are their ribs, great seasoning and generous portions. I like to cut all of the heaviness of the bbq with their coleslaw. Makes for the perfect bite. I know they have a good amount of other sides but I'll need to give them a try. I am so beyond happy that we have Lofi BBQ in the 805. Their family couldn't be nicer and more welcoming. They are doing good work out here and I'll definitely continue to support them and spread the word on this amazing bbq spot.

Both were AMAZINGLY delicious. Move over CJ's, there's a newcomer in town. The pull pork was bursting with flavor, my tastebuds and some of my senses went wild. They didn't know what hit them. The meat was tender, soft, moist and thick. As you brought that pull pork sandwich close to your mouth, you could smell the smoked pork. Once it hit your mouth, it mushed and was easy to chew. It's shredded look was deceiving because it looked firm but this meat was juicy. They were generous with the serving so every bite was a mouthful. Good quality meat, smoked and season just right. Served on a yummy buttery bun with a kickass mildly spicy sauce. I'm telling you the flavor was off the hook. I highly recommend this BBQ for your catering needs. IN-N-Out got nothing on Pleasant Burgers. These burgers are IN!!!!! These burgers were juicy, and flavorful. It took me back to a little nostalgia. If you ever tasted Top Hat in Ventura, it reminded me of those burgers. It had that authentic homemade burger taste. Their grilled onions took it up a notch. If you were lucky enough to try the "Pile" then you went home a happy camper. Having the pull pork added to the cheeseburger was to die for....Uhhhh....YUM!!!!! Winning food experience for sure. Don't sleep on this.
