From check in to check out, this was one of the best medical practice experiences I've ever had. Professional, efficient, informative and compassionate even when they're busy! I have anxiety with health professionals since it's always about money or they just tend to not listen. I went to another place about two years ago and they blamed the medication I was on for my bad eye sight and belchertown eye care immediately went through every OTHER reason why I could be lacking. They called me the day before reminding me of my appointment. I got in almost a week 1/2 out which Is amazing considering it takes months at other places. The lady at the front desk was very attentive, told me that it would be $110 for the exam BUT insurance will cover an amount of it I would just have it sent out. (she gave me a letter and all to send it out) As well as she measured where my eyes and ears sit so its comfortable. When I paid I left a deposit for my glasses (I was given option) and she showed the price break down. Sadly, I do not remember her name but the lady who did my eye exam was TOP tier, she worked for surgeons before and was checking for EVERYTHING when I say everything I mean everything. She was very educated and would ask if I wanted to see what the pictures and devices were doing. They have brand new technology so she explained what each one does now and any questions were answered immediately. PLEASE go they're amazing !

His office is like many other offices in Webster: a renovated home. Inside the entrance, there's a quaint waiting room with an aquarium, magazines, photos, and a countertop where reception and officework take place. Leading in, you can view all the glasses he offers--from state-administrated frames from MassHealth, to a selection of modern styles and varieties. Just around the wall from the waiting room is where Dr. Zak helps you get the right fit on your frames and makes sure they are a fit for you. When I went, Dr. Zak made sure to make my visit just as long and informative as I needed. I asked about contact lenses, and he told me how casually I could purchase my preferences online based on my previous prescription. I asked about eyesight concerns, and he helped me realize warning signs that I was lacking. He checked my old lenses and my eyesight and quickly figured I needed little change. Overall, I felt that he knew how experienced I'd been, having gone to optometrists most of my life. But, I felt that he was willing to take as long as I needed, or go as in-depth as I liked, to make sure I felt my eyesight health was being addressed. His receptionist was friendly, though I've forgotten her name, and I've returned many times for replacement lenses from my outside manufacturer. Dr. Zak treated each time with the care of the first, making sure my glasses fit, and that the prescription was comfortable. He wouldn't want me to run out the door as if my new pair of glasses was ready without adjustments. While he's not in his office as much as big chain optometry, I feel that he is always available for help when he can, and is ready to call back like a treasured doctor-patient relationship. Overall, I'm impressed with the care Dr. Zak provided me as a patient, and I'm surprised nobody's reviewed him before, much less provided photos. I'm sure he's worth your trip if you have a choice to go anywhere else.
