Our new house had flooring, tile, and countertops installed by Wolde. There have been a few issues since we moved in, which is normal for new construction. The Wolde Warranty team has been super responsive and quick to resolve these issues. I've had a broken tile repaired, grout repaired and a couple floor boards replaced. Hector and David were the ones who came out and they were super friendly and efficient.

Recently did business with Wolde to cut and install a granite kitchen countertop. I sense that this business has yet to embrace the popular Huntsville concepts of quality inspection, root cause, corrective action, lessons learned, and process improvement, all of which would EASILY reduce risk of error and improve customer satisfaction. Their business model appears to be: do a half-ass job the first time, and then if the customer complains, then they send ppl out to do repairs and maybe give the customer a discount. The countertop they cut and installed had: a) Multiple digs in the top surface (pictured is the largest). They came back and repaired them all. b) A large section of the outer diameter was unpolished. They came back and polished this section. c) There was a blowout chip in one corner. They came back and repaired it. d) One side of the granite next to kitchen stove wasn't fabricated with a 1/4" round edge as specified on the invoice. We requested and they then granted us a cost discount after they attempted to sell us to accept as-is with the notion that it was a legit "appliance edge." (I cant find this term with google) e) The countertop overhang was cut ~ 5" too long after we had asked for 36" long (see pic, paper Wolde declined to receive when offered in-person when we visited store to pay the 50% down-payment, after they had already measured wrong once). They then came out to the house and "measured" again, and then cut, length was ~ 5" past the tile backsplash - the installer guy noticed this before we did. Wolde later explained to me that they didn't do kitchen design to have an opinion on the mismatched length to the tile backsplash, but they then proceeded to play the role of kitchen designer by highlighting the benefits of a larger overhang. We declined their offer to come back, remove the countertop, take it back to their shop to modify, and then reinstall. We elected rather to tolerate this defect as-is rather than give them more opportunity to screw the job up further.

Wolde only replaced the tiles on the floor, not the wall. The tiles clearly do not match.

Danny did the estimation and gave us some good feedback on what could be done and the best way to do the remodeling of the bathroom.

THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…read more I decided to recarpet 3 bedrooms, a small study and a hallway. Received an invitation for Kemp's one day sale. Looked at the Karastan, not cheap but my last carpet purchase. Picked pattern, gave deposit and came back and paid a few days later. Dan the flooring man was my installer and he was fabulous. I was told the carpet has a lifetime warranty...sounds great. I had all the warranty info so I could keep my lifetime warranty. A few weeks later the carpet started to look like a sweater that had been picked. I called Beth who sold me the carpet. We are talking 6 GRAND in carpeting. Someone took pictures and then someone came a month later. They told me the Dyson vacuum that Kemp's said was recommended was too aggressive. He offered to fix it and worked the fibers back in. We are talking wall to wall carpet and you can't vacuum it with a commonly used vacuum. I started using my passive head central vacuum and they pulled up again. The gentleman had told me to call the dealer to have the process repeated and when I called Kemp's they blew me off. Since there was 968 sq. ft. of padding, the carpeted area was less than that. 6 GRAND people! I will probably sue at the first of the year, but I plan to show pictures of my picked sweater carpeting to everyone who comes in for next year's sale. I can't trim the picks and I have a very crappy result for a lot of money.

A week after our floor was installed we noticed areas that were not properly done. When we…read morecontacted Kemp's, they sent out their "inspected" who said there were no issues. Kemp then filed a claim with the flooring manufacturer, who denied the claim. A month after being informed the claim had been denied, and consistently emailing, I was told the copy of the report could not be shared, but they would fix "an area" the report cited. Note: The manufacturer said otherwise. Do not use Kemp for any installation work. They swear by their installer but the installer didn't correctly install the floor which will void your manufacturer warranty.
