Fried Catfish doesn't taste like catfish. Meaning not fishy at all. And could be fried harder. It was falling apart and a little slippery. noodles taste like they been sitting in the fridge. Fried rice doesnt have much flavor. However service was great read more

Even thiugh it says fried or steamed rice on the menu... when you asked for mixed meat on steamed rice they will tell you they cant do it.... Makes ZERO sense... i got to the window and tried to reiterate what i wanted to see if they misunderstood me. I said so i cant just get beef and chicken on white rice instead of fried? If I could leave less than a star, I would. What the hype and good reviews are about this place, I do not understand. I went here ONCE and it was once too many. This is the REAL review so let's get to it. What's worse than terrible? I don't know but this food was. It was DRY. Drier than Texas on a hot summer day. AND it was undercooked. I've NEVER had undercooked rice from an Asian restaurant. And I mean that. And talk about the lack of flavor? I need flavor. I need spices and salt and pepper. Why'd I get rice cakes with a side of cardboard? I was mad I'm not even gonna lie to you. I moved here from other states and cities and let me tell you this was a disgrace to all Asian foods elsewhere. I don't know who rated this a 5 but either they've never had ANY OTHER Chinese food or they got paid for those reviews. This is a -23 stars. If you want some good Asian food, while not Chinese, go try Dragon Thai just a 1.5 away from this spot. Now them?! They do it and do it well. We tried wok express today for the first time. I tried to order via the app, but had issues with the credit card being denied even though I tried 2 cards (not my issue, my credit cards are good). We still went by and I went inside to place our to-go order. The man running the register was very friendly and took my order quickly and efficiently, he also prepared part of the order and really seemed to care about his job. The restaurant appeared to be clean and my order was ready quickly. So far, everything was good. We went home and had the steamed dumplings first. These were great, but the sauce was extremely salty. I even like salt a lot and thought it was overly salty. We also ordered the hot and sour soup, shrimp lo mein, and orange peel chicken. Unfortunately, everything was overly salty. Otherwise, I thought my food was good, I was able to eat everything I had, but my friend couldn't, and we threw his away (orange chicken and soup). I might go back and give it another try, but that is to be determined. read more

This place was a delightful surprise. For a former city girl, I was worried about finding decent Chinese food in small town Texas. (No shade on small town Texas, but I don't expect quality Asian food.) The flavor was good, authentic, and needed no extra seasoning. The place is spotless, classy, and restrooms aand restrooms are with a relaxing, minimalist environment. Very friendly staff, good prices, and moderately sized portions. read more

Went today, probably first time in a year or so. They must have changed cooks or recipes or something. I usually love it but today the Kung Pao chicken was a little off. There were no peanuts in it and the chicken was not in little hunks (and tough). The sauce on it was orange. Oh, and I know this dish is spicy and I usually ask for extra hot oil. Today I did not. The dish was so spicy we could not eat it. I was disappointed. $27 and most of it is in the trash. My crab Rangoon was really good. read more

Customer service was terrible! I called in to make an order and the girl who picked up the phone sounded like she couldn't hear me. I would say something and get no response, then say can you hear me? And she said yes. Then continued to say "do you know who you called? I said, "I don't know, is this a restaurant?" She said yes, we are in Denison though. I said "yes, I know. That's where I live." She said "you don't have the right area code." I said, "I am from Houston and kept my number. Am I able to place an order?" I continued to place my order only to hear her laughing on the other end of the phone, I have no clue why. The whole phone call was very awkward and unprofessional. I have been working in costumer service for 10 years now. I cannot imagine giving "service" the way she did to anyone. I drive to the restaurant to pick up the order and stood at the counter waiting for her to turn around, when she did turn around, she did not greet me or my dad who came in with me, and barely made eye contact, we asked her if that was our order at the counter, she said "yea". Your total is $49 (and whatever the change was) I begrudgingly left her a 2 dollar tip although she absolutely did not earn a dime! Don't remember her name, but I should have asked. She was tall and slender/ skinny, had strawberry blonde hair and probably couldn't crack a smile if someone was offering her the lottery. I was very disappointed in the non service. As far as the food goes. I have no major complaints other than the fact that she told me on the phone that the orange peel chicken and general tso's chicken were supposed to be spicy ( which I wanted) but was not spicy, I specifically ordered extra dishes thinking maybe they would be too spicy for my 4 kids (ages 8, 5 year old twins, and 3), but they ate the "spicy" items with no problem. The fried rice has been dry and practically flavorless every time I've been there, the dumplings were great, the chicken was great, although not spicy. The main point of this review, is that the customer service was awful. I hope that girl comes in with a better personality tomorrow, because WOW! That sucked! I hope no one else has to endure that again. Next time! Just got to DoshiRock, service isn't very fast, but the people at least greet you with a smile and give you a better deal for what you pay for. Stay away! Completely disgusting! The fried rice was horrible! Said they were out of bean sprouts. The fried rice had no peas in it and very little egg and maybe a sliced baby carrot at the most lol No matter how you flavored it there was no doctoring it up...I'd rather drink cough syrup. We ordered the all meat came with mostly chicken 3 shrimp and 2 slithers of beef not worth the extra dollar! Soy sauce will not cure the taste so don't even bother! We will NOT be back ever! We ordered a couple dinners from here Sunday, most of the time it is good but this time was terrible. We both had the Mongolian Beef which we always get so I know what to expect. I am not kidding when I say the meat in it was about 60% of what the normall amount is. They had some stale noodles on top that were not ediable. And was extremely greasy, to the point it got me sick. Lacked any flavor very bland. The rice was dry apparently old. Was so bad I threw most of it away. My family and I had a attended this this restaurant three or four times . We really enjoyed the food. Tonight when I was chewing I bit down into something that taste like a chemical very strong and nasty. The manager was trying to convince me that it was baking soda and yet my tongue gone completely numb and I became very headachy and iill. I remember that I have had in the past reactions to MSG and ask if they used MSG. the girl behind the counter said yes they did. When I said that I was allergic to MSG the manager stepped in. Said that nothing we had eaten had MSG then he backpedaled and made it sound like they don't use has MSG we left around 8:45pm .it is now 1:45 in the morning I'm a little better . I'm not sure what was in that food but I won't be going back to that restaurant. I personally believe this was an isolated incident and nothing was done on purpose. read more

I've been here three times now so that means I like it. The service is helpful and friendly. There is a counter where they take your order. The portions are enormous. Three of us share two items and we still have to get a to go box. My favorite is the cashew chicken. The fried rice is good also. read more
