I like Wok One because of the chicken dishes and the fact that they have good egg rolls and decent veggie spring rolls. I mean, let's be real, if choosing between the two I will always go for the egg rolls. Their cheese puffs are also amazing. (My mom says the egg drop soup is okay. You'll have to take her word on it as I don't like egg drop soup. However, you'll be happy with the hot and sour soup.) Their beef dishes are okay, which is why I recommend you stick with the chicken entrees. I recently had the Chicken curry dish and it was alright. Obviously Thai restaurants/Indian restaurants tend to have the curry recipes locked down, but this was a great cheap alternative and should be considered fast food curry. Despite that description, I'd order it again, because I know exactly what to expect. They do have an app to order from for delivery. It was slightly difficult to manage and at first I was like...is this app real or a scam? However, even though it only has a few hundred downloads it is a real app and although it doesn't seem to be android friendly, once you figure it out the restaurant calls to confirm and you get your order fairly quickly. If you need a cheap Asian alternative this is a good option, as long as you get that it is Asian fast food, you'll be happy. read more

I generally don't like Americanized Chinese food but this one is above average. The price has increased, but it's a good lunch portion with rice, eggroll and soup. I especially like how they have a little bag filled with plastic utensils and sauces. It's an extra touch that's nice to have when many places forget to put. My go to is usually the garlic chicken, and I've tried other dishes which are decent as well. Its good to eat right away, but may not be as tasty if you have to heat it up next day. There's really not much to this location-- a couple of tables in each corner that seem set up more for waiting than dining in, a front counter with a lady at it, and a presumably large kitchen in the back. I guess that the bulk of their service comes from delivery orders based on how the place is set up, but from the fact that they advertise a 10% discount for take out, they probably are trying to shift that aspect of their business. Even with the 10% discount, their prices are about a buck an entrée higher than I've seen at other nearby places. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, Broccoli Chicken, and Large Combination Fried Rice. I wasn't impressed with either of the chicken dishes, but my wife and mother in law seemed to like them. Today I visited Wok One, which isn't very far from my place. I always seen the business driving through many times and it is close to the Denny's my family goes to. My first time I visited didn't go so well because of the gas burners not working at the time. But that didn't leave any bad feelings on my part and I was happy to come back another time. Officially my first visit, I walk into the business and I am greeted by the lady working the register. I decided to go with one of the lunch specials selections they have from 11:00-3:00 PM. The lunch special comes with either white or egg fried rice (not a combination), choice of soup (egg drop, wonton, or hot and sour) and an egg roll. I chose the General Tso chicken with fried rice and egg drop soup. I really liked the portion of the food. The chicken pieces are a good size and so is the amount of sauce. It'll be a spicy dish but I can handle it. It's one of those "spicy to make you sweat a little." Overall I enjoyed my visit to Wok One. I appreciate the patience of the lady for being friendly and allowed me to scramble through my jacket pockets looking for my wallet and the guy who handed me my order. One thing to note is the place is small with two tables. If you want to have a quick bite and sit it's possible but take out is nice if you don't like it cozy. The food is fresh and always cooked to order! Quick! They can get busy so make sure to add another 5-7 mins to the pick up time so you won't be disappointed. They run a simple and efficient operation. If you are looking for fancy and classy this isn't for you. But if you are looking for good American based Chinese food try them out. They won't break the bank. My go to for any Chinese restaurant is sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. They do it well. I'm a sucker for homemade spicy mustard. Hair in food!!! I received the food and after taking about two bites I saw a piece of hair in my shrimp fried rice I tossed both of my orders in the trash and called the restaurant to inform them.. after being placed on hold for several minutes I spoke with an employee and told him that I found hair in one of my orders and that I'd like a full refund. His reply was " how long was the hair" I'm shocked because all of your kitchen staff should have on hair nets so the length of the hair shouldn't matter. He asked if he could call me back I agreed and once he called me back he told me " next time if you don't like the food send back immediately if it doesn't taste good to you. " I ordered delivery how the hell am I supposed to just easily send food back if I had it delivered. Next the employee states " the driver will bring you a refund but we'd like to have the food back" yup! You heard it right they asked for food that had been eaten out of and disposed of back !! I gladly gave the delivery driver the food back minus an egg roll that I ate before I saw the hair of course. Now I'm left with an uneasy feeling about the food I did eat. With COVID going on you'd think this restaurant would handle things much differently and have cleaner and safer practices. read more

Was greeted as soon as I entered and wasn't rushed when asked if I was ready for order. I ended up ordering 6 fried wings well done. They had good flavor and the texture of the chicken was perfect. I ordered sweet and sour shrimp with white rice. The breading and shrimp to was cooked to perfection. Very good flavors and gotta love the sauce. the general Tso chicken was amazing. Awesome flavor nice and spicy with nice size pieces of chicken. I also order pan fried dumplings which were not all that good. The dough on outside wasn't cooked to perfecting but the inside was also damn flavorful it made up for it. The last thing I ordered was the soft spring rolls and might I add they were the size of half smokes. Lol they were larger than a rolled sushi roll. Overall I will be returning. The customer service and good was so damn good. Couldn't finish it in one day but woke up and finished the food the next day and still was good even cold. Lol Good job. I've ordered several different entrees here from the wings, shrimp, beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, and general tso chicken(my favorite) and they were ALL delicious. The shrimp fried rice is fluffy and cooked to perfection. What steals the show is the customer service. They are so nice and sweet and accommodating over the phone and in person. When you walk through the door they are sure to greet you and it isn't forced. They don't rush u to order and will explain anything about what's what in the food (if you aren't familiar). It's not the most comfortable place to dine in because it's so small (two dining tables) so i usually get my food to go.
