Boy did they kill it tonight. Portions were literally overflowing. Food was great. Chicken on a stick was incredible. Peppered chicken quality was why it got a 4....chicken is usually perfect but this was not nearly as good. Seasoning and flavor was a 10/10 though. Still love this place. Online ordering is a cinch. Best Chinese restaurant in the area by a wide margin! The building may be small and unassuming but the portions are generous, even on the small order size. The entrees are delicious and I love that the vegetables still have a fresh crunch and aren't overcooked and mushy like so many other places. Highly recommend the Hunan Beef! The crab rangoons are sweet style and are quite possibly the best I've ever eaten. Friendly folks making excellent Chinese food. What's not to love? read more

first of all the building is gorgeous. they did an amazing job with decorating and showing off their amazing culture, inside is a little small but seems clean and easy to access. staff is wildly friendly! the woman who took our order (i wish i grabbed her name) was, legitimately, one of the sweetest humans i've ever encountered. front the time she greeted us when we walked in until the time she handed us our food and saw us out- she was smiling and friendly the entire time. i would go back just because of her! food was great, plentiful and still hot to eat when we got home! love it. read more

TLDR: I'm pretty sure they gave us food poisoning, and they didn't care when we called in to report it. Full review, This was our favorite Chinese restaurant in the area for the one and a half years we have lived in Desloge. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. My wife and I were happy to see they partnered with Door Dash and placed an order. Spending about $50, we got all of our favorites. The fried rice tasted weird, so after a few bites, we both lost our appetite. It was late so we went to bed. The next morning, we woke up, and both of us had stomach issues that lasted most of the morning. I called the restaurant only requesting a refund for the food later that day after I got off work. I was told, "If you are sick, you should call a doctor, not a restaurant," this was the point I got pissed. I told him plainly. If I were going to a doctor, I would also be going to a lawyer. I said this because I was pissed I was being brushed off. I took time out of my day to call and try to settle this between us and I was essentially being told to take a hike. there was no concern for my health as the POS owner has insinuated in his reply to my google review, there was only gaslighting. It was made very clear to me that they do not care that the food we received wasn't edible, they don't care that it got us sick. and passive aggressively trying to gaslight the public in reply to an honest review is deceptive at best. As a business owner, I know the value of trying to remedy the issue with the business before writing a review and submitting it to the court of public opinion. Well, I tried, and they didn't care. So they have lost my family as customers. I really and truly hope this review costs them at least the cost of the food we threw away. I tell you, these people continue to do the Lord's work. I was in a pinch for time today with it being very busy and decided to call in an order for lunch. The gentleman taking my order over the phone was very professional on the phone and read my order back to confirm accuracy. It was so nice to walk right in and basically right back out with my order in hand. I ordered my usual fav, the general tso lunch with crab rangoons and egg roll. While only my second time here, I found the food to be just as impressive as my first experience. Having such great consistency for a new business is essential. In this area, they are doing just fine. God almighty, this general tso is dang good!!! The value is exceptional!! They did note they continue to be closed Sundays to provide ample prep time for their food. I continue recommending this restaurant! read more

Since moving to Missouri, I have been looking for a Chinese restaurant. I ate Chinese food almost every week when I lived in California. Most restaurants I have seen here are closed down. There were not many reviews on Wok but I thought I would take a chance. The place is small and nothing to look at but who cares. I'm there for the food. I followed a family of three in and listened to what they ordered. It was an assortment of items so maybe this could be good. I ordered the house fried rice and Hunan chicken. I was pleasantly pleased with the taste. Everything was cooked fresh to order. This is NOT fast food. There were two cooks and a person at the counter taking orders. It seemed to have a somewhat steady stream of customers. Because of the taste of the food, I would recommend this place to people who enjoy Chinese food. If you are looking for fast food or a bunch of cheaply made food, go somewhere else. Since it only has four tables, I would recommend that you try it as a take out on your first visit. My wife and I tried Wok N Roll in Desloge this evening as we were in the mood for Chinese and just wanted take out. The order was taken quickly, and unlike some other restaurants the time to pick up was accurate. We each ordered our favorite dish and tried their egg rolls and crab rangoon. The egg rolls were good, but not outstanding. The crab rangoon were very large, well filled and very good. My wife raved about the cashew chicken, and allowed me a taste and it was very good. I'd like to rave about the Kung Pao chicken as it was very tasty, and actually had 2 large pieces of red Chinese chili in it, which many restaurants now omit. Unfortunately, their recipe included an ingredient not usually found in Kung Pao, and one that I am allergic to - white mushrooms. I picked out 5 very large pieces of mushroom and one smaller one. I missed at least one small piece and had my usual allergic reaction. So the rest of my evening was compromised. Serving size was ample. We will definitely give them another try, but will verify there are no mushrooms in the next dish we order. read more
