Ordered hot & sour soup & Hunan beef at lunch time. The soup was bland and overly thick. The beef in Hunan Beef was tough & fatty. I couldn't chew it enough to swallow it. When I called to complain, they weren't willing to replace the meal. This place has really gone down. I won't return. read more

food is absolutely delicious! wait is kinda long at times but the food is so good it is worth the wait.

Great prices, convenience, and quality of food! I didn't have to wait too long for the food to be ready. I love the drive thru option. I got the combo lo mein and two eggrolls and it was all less than $14! The eggrolls were phenomenal, the lo mein was a little dry but overall tasted great. read more

Placed my order through drive thru. Ordered beef broccoli- definitely the weirdest beef broccoli we've ever had. Was drowned in a light gravy like sauce. Not the best. Garlic shrimp- had no garlic taste and u have to search for the shrimp as it is buried under a pound of mixed veggies lol. There's nothing fried, about the friend rice. Just looks like steamed brown rice. Fried shrimp was ok and sweet and sour chicken was just disappointing. It's an ok attempt at cooking Chinese food by a non Chinese person. Will not be returning. Plus you have to pay $4 extra for lo mein instead of the shitty friend rice. Not worth it read more

Wok D'lite was a fairly quick stop on our way through town. They only had a drive through open (I'm not sure if that is due to the pandemic or not!), but the line of cars waiting for their meals was promising! It was a very popular eatery along this stretch of road, which made us swing by too! There was a girl taking people's orders at each car, which made things easy as you don't even have to squint to read a menu on a board and shout into a microphone hahaha. As for the food itself, it was okay and did the job of filling a couple of hungry stomachs, but it nothing to write home about. We got a chicken dish and a beef dish, which both came with pork fried rice. We also got an order of shrimp lo-mein. The fried rice was bland and dry, we had to pour all the soy sauce they gave us on it. Unfortunately, as with most Chinese restaurants, the soy sauce was of the fake kind (water, salt, food coloring, and no soy at all), so that didn't really save it. Most of the meat was decent quality, but some of it was fatty or contained tendon pieces, and I don't love that. The taste of their sauces on those dishes were good though! The shrimp lo-mein was also kind of bland and on the drier side. I wasn't the biggest fan, but they didn't skimp on the shrimp! read more

Our Go To Chinese meal. We usually do take out and staff are nice and efficient. Only do take out so not sure about inside.

Stopped in late one night for some hot n sour soup, egg rolls and crab rangoons! It was sooo delicious and hot! Definitely recommend!

This is probably the only establishment in Lake Charles that sells price chicken the only downside is they only do it on Thursdays definitely worth the wait read more

Ordered over the phone and realized when I got home I was given the wrong order. Wasn't too mad about it since they gave me sweet and sour chicken instead of General Tso but it was not very good. Too much breading and probably not enough sauce. read more

Absolutely awful service, they don't know why there inside is closed (Covid isn't on lockdown anymore) so if you've got an hour to spare Goodluck just getting your food in general read more

They gave me the wrong order. I went back after they were closed and they corrected it. Good service. 5 stars.

This place has been in business since before I've been alive sooo 30 years? Yeah, you don't stick around that long for no reason. When I want cheap and delicious Chinese takeout then I look no further than Wok D Lite. read more

Best fried rice and egg rolls in town. Excellent prices. Fast service. Ample indoor seating. Good central location.

Great for cheap Chinese food! I get the house lo mein, wontons, egg rolls, egg drop soup (I add green onions to it at home), and house fried rice. All this food usually lasts me at least half a week. Perfect for finals week when you're studying too much to get out of the house. If you order To Go make sure you tell them you are "on your way right now" several times on the phone otherwise they won't start cooking it till you get there. My last visit they got my order wrong, shrimp fried rice instead of house lo mein. Check your order before you leave. All in all a good Chinese restaurant! :) read more

There is a reason why this place has been in business for 20+ years. We ordered rice, wings, crab puffs and a side of veggies and we barely finished our meal. The wings were crispy and moist and needless to say, my favorite. The owners are super nice and always make you feel welcome. The quick dine-in restaurant have friendly staff and very clean. If you are in lake Charles area, come by and enjoy a great meal. read more

It gave our whole family the worst case of diarrhea known to man. I never suggest eating here as we are all sick to our stomachs.

Nasy food,, Indian girl at front counter is rude... I will never go back in that place....

Below average Chinese take-out. The egg rolls are the frozen, mass-produced variety... let that sink in. The fried rice is just rice- no peas, onions, carrots- nothing. The general chicken is fatty, over - battered, and came without broccoli or any veggies. Won-ton soup was below average. Even the iced tea tasted bad. read more

rude workers at window that don't even know what they're menu says. disgusting prices for average food

friendly service and delicious food. the king do chicken has a yummy sauce that makes you want to eat more and more. the triple d'lite has a combination of veggie, tofu, mushroom, and shrimp that can satisfy anyone's craving. inexpensive and fast chinese food is the way to go. read more

Worst Chinese I ever ate. Rice tasted old and was just plain rice fried. Nothing added to it, sweet and sour shrimp was fried to the point where the shrimp were rubbery and the crust was so crunchy it hurt my mouth/gums. Do NOT waste your money here. Gross! read more

You get more than what you pay for. Plenty of yummy Chinese. Love their hot and sour soup. Drive thru is really quick.

I've eaten here for 20 years and it always fresh and tasty and very reasonably priced! The staff is always super friendly and they have some of the best iced tea in town. read more

Ordered meal without specific veggies, got home with meal and there was no meat. Called and they swear we ordered it wrong. Umm. I believe I didn't ask for no meat. I won't be spending my money there again read more

I had to MAKE a yelp account just so I could leave a negative review. I've never had such a bad experience with a Chinese restaurant. The drive through took decades even tho there was like 3 cars in front of me. I waited 20 min to order and once I ordered I waited 20 more for food. Which by the way is cheap I do admit but it was GARBAGE I tell you GARBAGE. I understand they say "you get what you pay for" but honestly for $7 and the massive amount of time you waste in the drive thru, you could do way better. They really skimp you out on meat and fill your platter with just mostly vegetables and their bland "fried rice". My order in particular (broccoli beef) was super salty but salty enough to tolerate, but my roomate's order (spicy chicken) was so salty he couldn't even finish it and ended up throwing the rest away. My second experience at the restaurant is no different. Same quality. Same wait time. Disappointed. I wanted to make sure it wasn't just a one time thing. The third time I waited in the drive thru for about half an hour and got pissed and went to another Chinese place. I'm a college kid with very limited free time and I took time out of my day to create a yelp account and write this review. Yes it was THAT bad. Glad I could get this off my chest. If you took the time to read this, have a blessed day! read more

one of the most affordable price Chinese food in town that is at its best quality. Restaurant has been in business for more than 20 years. Foods are prepared by the same chef for decades. Freshly cook to orders. Still in business after 20 years, i'll let you make the judgement of that. I love the hot&sour soup and combination fried rice. Very tasty. Also the KingDo chicken, the more you eat the more you drool. read more

I had to stop eating here years ago. I got food poisoning from the combination Lo Mien TWICE. I WANT to go back but I'm afraid to. :(

First time to order here. Servings are generous, food stayed very hot through drive home, transfer to dinnerware, and even the time it took to eat the large portions. Very affordable and enjoyable meal for the end of a long work day! I will be a regular customer:) read more

Well their spicy general chicken is good, but their fried rice is very much sub par, and I found a long ass black hair in my drink, got my food in the drive thru , don't really know how that happens read more

Hidden gem in the area for sure! Food is very tasty and filling, portions are perfect size. Establishment given is age is relatively clean and seating is adequate. We regularly eat here for a quick meal and my children love it. Prices are great for what you get! Definitely be back. read more

I ordered food over the phone and they said it will be ready in 10 mins and I walked in after 30mins that girl on the counter said it will be ready in 10 mins.. Why the hell do they take orders over the phone then? That happened to me twice and I will never be going there.. Service sucks read more

Not a great selection of items, but it is convenient because of the drive thru. I had the triple delight because it was the only thing not fried. It was good and had plenty of meat. I also liked that their won ton soup had cabbage. read more

I've eaten here all my life. They know my order when I walk in the door. Hot and sour soup is the best in town.
